So classes start Aug 24 which will be when I hope to meet my goals by.

Goals for this challenge:

1. Get to 185lbs

2. Work towards getting 7 hours of sleep on most nights

3. Walk everyday for a minimum of one hour on the treadmill (or other 1hr walk)

4. Start walking stairs at the college after this semesters class on Tuesdays and Thursdays , so I don't use the elevator for one floor next semester like I have always done in the past.

5. Go hiking in the hills once a week

A lot of goals this challenge, mostly targeted at getting the endurance to be able to complete some hard courses that require not only physical but also mental endurance.
I'm guilty of number 4 too lol at the library I would bring my huge heavy laptop and it was so much work taking the stairs, I gotta do it though
and 5 would be good for me at school since they have like 16 acres of nature trail to walk.

Down 1lb exactly. I think I found out why though. My calories have been a bit high, around the 1600 range, and around 1800 on weekends. I think I need to have them around 1300-1500 to have the flexibility during the weekends and still lose decently.

Congrats on the losses everyone. I need to weigh-in again, though I have been feeling pretty depressive lately so I am not sure that I want to, dont know if I can handle it. I have been letting a lot of things get me down lately, it hasn't been affect my eating, but its certainly been affecting my attitude toward life and exercise hasn't been as important this weekend. Need to fix that because I know that there are always. going to be things that get me down and upset.

Wow, sorry everyone I didn't mean to sound so whiny.

I ate Chinese last night and now I'm 3 lbs higher. I haven't known my number for a few days. I'll look tomorrow. I think I might be higher from muscle gain tho. My jeans are very loose now. Soon it'll be time for a new size!

194.4 this morning, though I'm not sure what I was at when I started this challenge. Haha.

Way to go, Angel's Dust! New jeans are always fun.

I'm not weighing in today. I'm waiting until Friday. It's that lovely time of the month and I know I'll just be frustrated.
My shorts are loose though. That's a bonus.

I'm down 3 pounds since 2 weeks ago, from 187 to 184, and I've lost 2 stone now. I think I'll make it to my goal of 175 by August 24th.

That's high? I eat in the 2000 range (I do zigzagging, but it averages out to about 2000) and am losing about 1.5 lbs a week now (was originally 2 lbs a week but has slowed to 1.5 now)

megwini - Everyone is different, haha. When I first started trying to lose weight again (around 245-250lbs) I ate an average of 1800 per week, and I'd lose 3lbs per week [if I stayed on plan, I had a lot of setbacks]. Now I try to average 1600 calories per week. I don't know though. I looked at my calories and apparently I'm where I should be for that week. Maybe my body is just taking a break. I am going to incorporate more exercise and see what happens.

congrats to everyone on your losses! today is my weekly WI day. i was hoping for 160.0 and got 160.5 but i'll take it! my goal is to weigh between 150-145 by the time school starts (aug 18). i'm pretty op so far, but this weekend is going to be difficult with the holiday and all the cookouts and such... eek. i was hoping to be in the 150's by july 4th, i guess we'll see!

The scale still says it's up. I don't know what's going on. Muscle gain? I haven't eaten anything bad, and I've exercised a lot.

Down 2.5 so far for this challenge. My summer class actually started last Wednesday which I forgot about but that's okay, I set this goal for myself for my fall classes
I'm only 4 lbs away from what's considered a normal bmi and I want it so badly I can taste it.
