Miss you all.
Yay for the PT, even though it is hard now, it will be so good for you glad you could get online for a brief hello! we will understand, Lisa, if we don't hear from you much , because of Internet access.

I had a doctor's visit last week. I 'thought' for years that I was 5'6", they measure me at 5'4", so my weight of 145 STILL PUTS ME AS OVERWEIGHT in their eyes!!! jerks

Greetings!

It has been a while since I have posted. I finished the Box Tops- what a project with having to check each expiration date, package them in small bags of 50, etc.

Still no movement on my bathrooms; hopefully the work will start in March. I have chosen everything and given the contractor $10,000 upfront to start.

Holly, any news on the rat b*stard selling? You sound great- attitude is so important. I would ignore the 5'4".

Kathleen, always great to hear from you, and happy to hear things are going well.

Lisa, I admire the way you decide to do something, and then do it. I tend to put things off, hem and haw; I am amazed at how quickly you moved!

Jessika, good luck in your new position.

I am still managing to exercise every day, although some days it is 30 minutes. I just feel the exercise is what keeps me off meds.

The weather here has been up and down - a snow storm overnight on Saturday and 50 degrees on Sunday! We might reach 70 degrees tomorrow.

Hello and welcome to our new members.

Take care, my friends.

Monica

Monica - Hi!! congrats on completing the volunteer BoxTops job, very nice Gosh I hope the work starts soon on your renovating.
Congrats on being a consistent exerciser for years, that is surely the reason you are in such good health!! I hope to be the same as you

Yes, up and down weather!! we are in our 3rd major thaw, and are experiencing the unbelievable temperature of 68 degrees outside!!! It is warmer outside than in the house for the first time since, oh probably September. But yes, it goes back to 'normal' winter weather tonight, back into the 20's.

The sale of the store...it's such a mystery!! Even the RB claims to 'not know what's going on', that they are relying on the broker to give them info. I do know that the new owners have visited twice, both times on a Wednesday or Thursday and I have not been there, as those are my days off. They're not gonna believe I exist
Supposedly the closing will be the middle of next month, all I can do is wait and see! BUt in the meantime, when I have volunteered to work some extra hours, the RB is paying me quite well. While being so stingy and cheap in other ways

I spent over 2 hours at a local consignment shop last week, and got 4 new blouses for work, it is so nice to be able to be in the 'Medium' section now. I was too worn out though to look for jeans, hopefully I'll go again tomorrow. I do have to try every single thing on, that's what takes so long.

Hi everyone, although the weather forecasts were amazing, I didn’t make it to step outdoors. I regret not opening the windows.
Out the blue after two weeks, my ex texted in the evening. He seemed normal though I was unsure why he was reaching put and then talking nonsense so not sure if its meds or drinking- he is supposed to have recently quit drinking. Plus work’s been crazy busy- i work from home so worked all day then was about to do some work evening then got the three hrs of texted and had super anxiety and worked overnight.

But I did get some (not enough!) sleep last night. I plan totake a nap this evening prior to trying out a new yoga class. It’s in a convenient location by my apartment. I hope i like it; I have a membership elsewhere but go to their other classes although they fo have yoga. I am not generally interested in yoga but this place is so much closer and has different kinds, seems good for beginners snd the intro proce is for 2 wks unlimited for price of 1 session so I registered for several. They have late night too so that’s my fri night plan since I’ve been avoiding most social events with friends. I don’t want to be at a loud bar. Yoga sounds great.

The scale dropped 1.6 lbs today! From 138 to 136.4.

I am looking forward to the weekend bc work’s been so busy. Ugh

PandaCupcake, did you try the new yoga class last night? did you like it?
I hope you don't receive more long confusing texts from the ex

Lisa we are thinking of you and I do remember you said you might be offline for a couple weeks, hope you are doing good!!

and Hello to everyone else, Monica, Kathleen, Coop, JesikaBeth. Kathleen, have you been able to keep up with your marvelous movement on elliptical or treadmill in the evenings? and cool that you hold weights while on the treadmill, that is great to increase exertion while being low impact

We had those couple of beautiful hours of weather on Wednesday, but since then back to cold, and not just cold, it's grey/white sky, bleh , give me some sunshine please!! even sunshine with the cold is welcomed.

this is President's Weekend, I don't know how busy it will be at work, usually we are slammed all week but not this week because of the meltdown. guess I will find out when I walk in there, in a couple hours, OH how I hate to go back to work after 2 days off, EVERYONE rubs me the wrong way, customers and co-workers AND boss

Hi everyone
Lisa we all hope you get back online soon- glad you were able to pop on
Holly- yes I made it to the yoga class- it was one of those classes w glowsticks and neon paint. At the end we had to vote for limbo or relaxing cool down but one guy yelled “limbo”! So we had a limbo contest. This class is on a friday night so i get that he wanted to party. I would have preferred the relax option.
I bought a 2 wk intro pass so will attend some other types.

Today i made it to a cardio and barre class (at my regular membership place)- they’re an hr each so 2 hrs done today.

I just started exercising this weekend and the scale jumped 3.2 lbs. 136.4 to 139.6)
I am a bit sore today so I cancelled two workouts for today but will just do yoga.
I read that exercise can cause water weight gain but grrr don’t like to see the numbers going up.

Hi everyone

The sun is finally out here which means I am in a great mood. I work retail, so hopefully I don't deal with any "fun" customers today The past week of cloudy/cold/snow/rain/everything really started to get to me.

Now onto my homework that's due Wednesday...I've known about it for a month and have procrastinated just a bit. Now the stress starts

See you all soon. Love to all.
