My official Day 1 was Saturday,(Oct. 17). I'm sticking to the plan but I feel really tired and very hungry between meals. The HNS just don't take the edge off at all. Did anyone else experience this and does it get better???
Are you coming off caffeine? That's hard to do and makes you tired.

I'm relieved to find something that I really like to use on my veggies.
Hello a McKinney MRC here. Yes WF was a life saver to me, enjoy the honey dijon, I think I'm going to try the creamy bacon and French next grocery stop.
How long have you been OP? magnoliagirl

Hi magnoliagirl. Please forgive my ignorance but what does OP stand for? Sometimes I'm a little behind when it comes to technology lingo. LOL

OOOOOhhhhh! I've been OP since Saturday, October 17. I'm not loving it so far...but if I have some good results when I weigh in this Friday, that'll make it worth it. I need to use the cookbook and find some ways to make my meals more interesting and tasty instead of bland and boring. I almost feel housebound because I have to pee so much from all the fluid intake.

I'm glad I joined MRC though because I am finally doing something to change some of the unhealthy habits that have caused me to be overweight and miserable. I'm prepared to give it my best effort to be successful.

Great Job. 6.5 pounds gone for good! This program is not easy but these moments make it so worth all the hard work.

These plateaus are a pain in the scale! but stay strong. They are a necessary evil. They will end and you will have a loss to show for it!

It is really easy to fall into a rut with this diet since you are so limited on what you can eat. Then you get bored and start to stray. That is what I did. Soon, you justify eating off plan here and then there. But you work too hard to do that! It is hard, especially when others are eating whatever they want. But that is them, not you. You have a different need then them. (lecturing to myself while writing to you). Just like person who follows a special diet for medical reasons. They do what they have to in order to fullfil their bodies needs. That is what we are doing. We are learning to listen to our bodies and finding out what the needs are. It will get easier, even the water/peeing. Your body will adjust to the increased water and will regulated it. Have faith and toilet paper!
I am so proud that you have commited to improve your health. It is not just the number on the scale but the about how we feel each day.

Thanks, Lori123321, for the encouraging words. You are obviously having good results on this program. Do you exercise along with the eating plan? Are you always very strict with the meal plan? So far I have followed the menu strictly but I went to lunch with friends today and ate a salad with chicken. There were red peppers, onions, walnuts and feta cheese in the salad. (this was a small greek restaurant and had few salad choices) I took 2 fat/carb blockers before the meal and used my Walden Farms dressing. Obviously I ate some "no no" foods but I enjoyed the small break from the monotony. Just wondering if you ever strayed and still lost weight.

I am so scared to go off program even just one tiny bit, but I doubt it will sink all you efforts. I weighed again today and I didnt lose any, but 6.5 pounds in one week is still good. I guess this is my first little plateau, I dont like!!

I know there are a lot of threads on where other people but some of their supplements, but are they the exact same mainly the HNS.

Good Morning, Oh yes how we do get bored with our food, but I'm hanging in.
At lunch Friday, while I was eating my buffalo and spinach, two ladies were eating taco salad. I looked at the bottom of their plates, it was soaking in oil from the meat. That was confirmation that my eating choices are healthy.
When you cook dinner, double and save half for your lunch the next day. A time saver for me. I'm still only averaging 1.5#'s a week, but I'm hanging in, I've been sick for the most of this plan and I am better now. So I'm praying that the next two weeks will be a little better. My clothes are fitting looser, that's encouraging. We can both hang in together, THINK THIN THOUGHTS!

I would love to say I was OP the entire time and everything but I have not been. I believe it has slowed my loss and wish I could take an eraser and take away the moments and the effects. But since they have not found a pill for that at MRC, I move on. What I noticed is that when I eat a bite or something off plan, I either crave more of it or I am not hungry at all. The second one is harder since I don't want to eat the foods my body needs. And if I do really bad, I feel kinda sick afterwards. So, if you eat off plan for whatever reason, drink the water to flush out your system of all the salt and stuff, get back on the MRC bandwagon as soon as possible and use the fat and carb blocker. I am going to check the stores to see if I can find one cheaper.

Let me know what carb blocker you are using or suggest? I am thinking about
getting some just in case, I'm thinking with Thanksgiving around the corner,
I know I will slip up. I will not be eating home.
You have done well, I look at this board every day, it is my diet devotion!
thanks everyone for encouraging and being so positive to everyone,

Well, I've just completed my 8th day OP. I lost 3 lbs. my first week. As long as I continue at this pace I will lose all the weight I want to lose in 17 weeks so I'm OK with that.

I am no longer feeling tired, however; I now have a new dilemma. I am now experiencing some constipation. I started taking the internal cleanser that I bought at MRC AND I am taking an herbal laxative that usually works for me...but isn't. Again, has anyone had this problem? It's hard to believe I could have this problem at all with the amount of raw veggies that I'm eating and 10+ glasses of water each day. I am taking the All day weight Loss supplements and the MRC6 in addition to the Multi vitamin and the fish oil.

Any thoughts from the MRC vets??
