Good Morning Ladies!

Well, I have MET GOAL and finally broke my plateau and lost another pound...almost two. I felt a little lighter on my feet yesterday and all the bloating was gone so I kind of new I'd wake up to a loss today. Whew! I really don't want to hit one of those again.

I sure hope FSA is alright and all the other ladies that haven't checked in. Le is living it up on her cruise and crazymomma isn't feeling well. Well big 's to all of you.

Woohoo Lelan just said the weekend looks clear! I was hopeful that my oldest and I could dust off our bikes and set off bike riding this weekend and now we might actually get to.

At any rate, just a few more days left in May girls. Time to take it up a notch and start dropping those pounds and reaching those goals. You ladies have an exceptionally pleasing day and remember your smiles.

Delphi!!! Way to go on making your goal!!! You have been working so hard and getting in all that exercise, I knew you could do it!

Sounds like a great idea on the bikes. We went last weekend and bought a new bike for my DH for his birthday next week. He had a street bike but needed something a little tougher to go on trails and such. Maybe we can give it a go this weekend too if the weather is nice.

I am going to take a day off of exercise today as for some reason, probably the tennis, my hip is hurting the last few days so a little Advil, a little rest, and hopefully I'll be good as new.

MsP~ Well, I can't say it any better than Jacqui did so I'll just second that!

: to everyone today and don't forget your water!

urockmom ~ Do you get up early before the kids? When do you prefer to get your exercise in? The reason I get up so freakin' early is because it is the ONLY time I can ensure that I will get my exercise in. The house is quiet and no kiddos running around, so there are no excuses for not exercising. I just have to wake up early enough to give myself and hour to wake up and then it's time to exercise. But yeah, we love riding the trails around here, but I have a car now and no way to transport the bikes to the trails, so we will just "bust blocks" around the neighborhood. You get your exercise in and you're spending some quality "one on one" time with your child. Sorry to hear about your hip. I do hope you recover soon. You've been doing so well...stick to it.

Delphi, CONGRATS!!!! You have been amazing this month, girl!!! 9-10 lbs GONE!!! (And your pics certainly tell the story! You look so good!!) I'm so proud of you!!

Ms_P, you still have some days left! You may lose that 1 lb to make goal yet!! You are doing so great!! Keep it going!!

Urock, I'm sorry you have hurt your hip. Hopefully a day off will do the trick! As for making time for yourself to exercise over the summer, I agree that you may have to pull "a Delphi" and get up earlier than the rest of your family, so that you can have some completely free-to-yourself time. You can always crawl back into bed afterward, but I imagine it will help to jumpstart your days and you'll have more energy to get things done!

CMof4 Sandye, I hope you are feeling better today, girlie!!

Lene, What a great exercise weekend you had!! Good going!! I agree, let's finish the month strong!!

FSA, where are you, lady? We miss you!! Are you all right?

I hope more of our ladies who haven't been around in a bit show back up to check in--Cake, ShrinkingLeah, Rowenna, Hattie, Neesy, Econ, MCrunner, Fenderella, and many others!! We miss you girls!!

My scale is being stubborn again for this final week! It may be the week before TOM, ugh, when even the tape measure isn't my friend. But I'm thinking about upping my exercise these last 5 days and seeing if I can take off just 1 more lb to reach the 180s!! Woohoo!

O M Goodness!!! *sniff-sniff* You ladies are so FanFlippinTastic!!!!! *sniff* I swear you got me all teary with your support! (those are teary sniffs, not snotty ones ) Thank you all SO much! Everyone's kind words and boot campy ones too--they really mean a lot to me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you all!!!!

Okay, *sniff-nose wipe-sniff* it's time for some personals!!!!

Lene~ I've heard so many good things about the Twilight books--if I had any extra time I'd sooooo start them, but I'm up to my eyes in other stuff. I was, however, heavily addicted to Anne Rice's Vampire series--ooooh, good stuff! Congrats on the active weekend, and I bet you're right, that dressing didn't do a bit of harm, sounds like you burned it and more right off!

URockMom~ oh hun, I totally know what you mean! Finding time to exercise has been tough for me--mostly when the girls are up. The boys will occupy themselves, but the girls--not so much. Delphi is onto something, rising early would be a good idea. Or, after they go to bed would work too. I'm like you, exercising outside isn't ideal for me (mostly because I get overheated and then I don't want to finish a workout) so I finding stuff to do inside is key. I'm looking into getting either the Wii Fit or the other Wii thingie (I forget what it's called ) as the treadmill is getting b-o-r-i-n-g! Maybe you could stock up on exercise dvds?

Ms.P~ You TOTALLY can kick that pound to the curb! Just keep up the great work, maybe try kicking it up a notch, be sure to get in all of your water--and you'll lose it in no time!!!

Delphi~ Woo hoo!! Congratulations on meeting your goal!!! That's awesome!! How much is that total for you this month? You're melting away!! Hey, you have the Wii personal trainer thingie right? Do you also have the Wii fit as well? How do you like the personal trainer? Hubby and I were looking at them the other day and I still don't know if I want to get it or which one to get...

Jacqui~ You are absolutely, positively correct! This IS a lifestyle change! I am NOT on a diet. I am in the 'losing phase' of my new eating and exercise lifestyle! I will NOT fall back into old habits! I have made the choice to get healthier and I'm sticking to it! Thank you for reminding me where my focus lies! Oh, btw, although I haven't been eating as much fruits and veggies as I had wanted--I am eating more than I had prior to May. I have also been making a bigger effort this week to get in even more! **ETA--girl you can totally get to the 180's before the end of May! Oh yes you can! We're here to cheer you on! Tell TOM to kiss it (as Delphi would say ) and kick it up a notch! Yeehaw!! 180's here you come!!!!**

Alright ladies, really quickly...I'm back down to 176.4--still retaining a bit of water as my rings are tighter today than usual. I really need to focus on getting more water in today!!! Feel free to nag me about it endlessly!

I'm feel better as far as my cold goes and my motivation is back where it should be. Yes, I'm a little bored with my workout plan, but after May is over and I've done my cardio every day like I said I wanted to, I plan on switching things up a little. I am not feeling funky and depressed like I have been for the past couple of days (depression is a pita! ) and I'm back on track. I will NOT let a cold or a bad mood derail me! I WILL get my cardio in every single day of May! I WILL get my strength training in 3 days a week! I WILL stay OP with my new way of eating! I WILL continue to make good choices and better my health! And of course, I WILL drink my water!!!

Thank you all again, so very, very much for all the kind words and support! I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you find many reasons to smile and be happy today!

Of course, I need to say one last thing...

Be sure to...

Drink Your Water!!!!

Goodmorningggggggggg ladiessss

A big to you all. I just read through all the posts, I'm sorry I have been absent past few days. It was a crazy week! After I wrote the last time, I sort of was sick again (something weird going on this month) and I had company coming over the weekend. DH saved me! He did the grocery shopping the night before as I just couldn't go and he even helped me with some finish up cleaning the morning the company was arriving. Luckily I felt well that day and did all the cooking and all that I needed to do and the night was a success. We had a lovely time and I made a lot so the following day I sent some of the fixings to my folks and brothers house (SIL broke leg in accident). By the way, ty so much to all of you for the kind words and well wishes.
It sounds like you all had a great holiday weekend and I am glad girls. COngratulations to many of you for staying on track over the holiday weekend. Crazymama, how are you feeling? I hope your feeling better today and also congratulations to you on making your goal and the inches too! You are doing fantastic! I veered off over the weekend but it's right back to business now, keep on kicking it girl ...you have been doing great!

Congratulations also to our Delphiiiiiiiiii for meeting goal! OH, I am so happy for you Delphi and for all of you. That is wonderful and I just loved your pics!!!!!!!!!! As far as your arm goes, I didn't even see the tan line........I was too busy looking at those fab delts of yours and muscle tone! OH, you look so good! Your doing something right, that's for sure! You look fantastic and ty for sharing with us. I know you weren't feeling that great the other day and I hope your feeling better now. Keep up the awesome work.

Congratulations to all of you on the losses ladies and on being OP too or just keeping at it. Jacquiiiiiiii and MsPerception, congratulationssssss on your losses girls and to all of you on the losses Jaquiiiiiii , I saw all the posts girl, thanks! Your doing wonderful and congrats again on the loss MsP, 71/2 hrs. of gathering and burning brush? wowee girl! It's been so nice following your sucess over the course of our journey and watching those numbers get lower and lower, it really is neat to see. I am posting this girls and I will brb.

Leneeeeeee, hi there girl! . I'm here, still alive......lol. God, I s houldn't joke like that. Congratulationssssssss to you on staying OP over the holiday weekend and on all of the activity too. It sounds like you were OP but still had a lovely weekend with lot's of activity, etc. wtg! As far as looking at tummy in mirror, oh I do that on a daily basis practically after shower Except this weekend, ugh! I veered off with into food porn and the alchol flowed freely too so I think I will give the mirror a little break for a few days lol. Regarding TOM, sure does get me Lene. It always has but past few years has gotten much worse on and off....will check into that sometime......have to go to the doc sometime I guess. This month was nuts, it sh owed up left, s howed up and left and did it again yesterday!!!! Made me feel real sick in the process, I don't know what thehell is going on,,,, maybe I'm perimenopausal or something. Oh , sorry for rambling like that. I'm sorry, I take things pretty well usually but it just got frustrating for me. My bio clock and everything got thrown off, sleep, etc. Well my dear girl, here is to a new day! I'm back and ready to kick some hiney. We have 5 days left, keep it shaking lene feels good to be back, boy does it!

HI urockmom, did you have a nice weekend? We were lucky to have nice weather. My program usually changes in the s ummer too, I know what you mean. Where I get mine is usually walking (land or sea...mostly sea if possible) and swimming. I really love them both so it's more of a hobby for me and great way to exercise. Do your feet and hands swell from the heat? How about walking with the girls maybe? or some type of activity. Do you like badminton or some other sport you can engage in for fun as well? You seem pretty athletic to me, I'm sure you will come up with something or other. At least when our weather is good we are more active by nature being out and about, etc. Good to see you chicky

Jacquee and Michelle, hi there girlsssssss Hope you had a great weekend. Okay, need to post this in fear of losing it and brb.

FSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA youRe back! Good to see you are doing well. Sounds like regardless, you had a pretty good weekend and even with the alcohol, your are still marching towards you goal. Impressive as always!!! Thanks a lot on the compliment about those before/after pics! You're a peach! I'm sooooooo glad you're back and on plan!

crazymomma ~ Technically 13 but the four pounds I lost that first weigh in on the third, I didn't count towards my goals for this month. I have the My Fitness Coach and the Wii Fit. I personally use the My Fitness Coach every other day for my hour of cardio and love it. Though I am hearing wonderful things about the new Wii Active, so I might pick that up soon to add some variety eventually. But yeah, I'd definitely recommend the My Fitness Coach. I'm sooooo glad you are feeling better as well and your positive attitude is simply AWESOME! That attitude will take you all the way to home plate girly!

Jacqui ~ Thanks ...and hey don't you worry about that pound, it will come and knowing you and your sheer will and determination, it will come soon dear! Remember scales are evil creatures.

JasonsLea, hello there and congratssss on your new pc!

Jacquiiiiiiii, go girl! Knocking on a new decade! wtg!

smallification, congratulationssss on meeting your goal and ty for coming in to share with us

Hi Newshinyme , how are you doing? You mentioned something about looking at new condos, you must be busy. Hope you had a great holiday weekend : ).

urockmom, the wii pokes you in the belly when giving your weight and says "that's obese" or "that's overweight". It shows you standing there skinny too and while its measuring the wii grows, hahaha. I couldn't beleive it the first time I got on it, I actually cried You get used to it after a while though and it's a great help in watching the graph go down (extremely depressing when it goes up) and working to make that wii skinnier! lol

musiclover, keep up the great work, you are sooooooooo close, wtg!

emccoy, hi th ere. Wtg on getting right back to it the other day. I hope things are going better for you. If you sidetracked, just go right back on and treat each day as a new day . I sidetracked too....more than a day...we just pick up and go right back to it. It can be harder after being off a few days (is for me anyways) but it can be done and we just need to focus completely on the day and have the meal plans in place. Please becareful of that "CAN'T" word. Try to eliminate that word entirely from your thought process and when you find yourself thinking it, replace that word with "CAN". I am back on today and boy I am already hungry, lol, stretched my apetite out for sure. It is easier to just stay OP. Here is to a new day chicky, keep on fighting!

Supachix, hang in there. It can def. be frustrating not seeing the scale move but just keep at it and staying OP, it will move for you. TOM could be playing some funky roll too, I agree. Keep up the good work.

A big hello to all of our other ladies as well. Posting this, brb.

FSA ~ It's another interactive fitness for the Wii. Newshinyme actually has it and she seems to really like it. Plus everyone I've talked to that has it, is simply raving about it. So yeah it's on my to buy list.

Well ladies I'm off to childsupport court. Urg...what a drag. I despise sitting in court rooms. Oh well you guys wish me luck and perhaps today, after nine years, the judge will actually do something positive. I'm really tired of ending up in court every few months, because of the irresponsibilty of the ex. At any rate, you ladies take care and I talk to you all later.

hi everyone! just a quick post bc i want to squeeze in a run before i meet up with a friend for dinner. i was down to 154.2 this morning so i really want to step it up and lose one more pound in these last 5 days of may! (i don't want to change my ticker until i see 154.0...but i decided i will have "met goal" if i am anywhere in the 153.0-153.8ish range!)
I'm so glad I've managed to stay on plan despite the hellish last week I had, hardly sleeping at all working on this one stupid paper. If I hadn't started this plan, I definitely would have gained weight, between not having time to exercise, getting hungry in the wee hours of the morning because i'm still awake, and getting cases of the stress-munchies. but i didn't let myself succumb to that, and i feel so much better now as a result! AND, I just got the grade back, and I got an A on the paper! So- especially if I can lose this last pound- I would say May has been quite a successful month.
In June I'll be traveling a lot so I'm a little worried about having less control over food and exercise...but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it and focus on the next few weeks here!
Hope you are all having a good day, nice to hear from all of you as usual.

Delphi-Now I'm curious about My Fitness Coach. My son and I want to get the EA Active, but waiting to get other things straight first.

My pound has not left me yet, but I'm kicking the crap out of it 'til it goes! I've done long morning workouts the last 2 days and kept up other activity (walking to the library, doing Wii Fit, etc.), plus I'm making sure to fix good filling supper meals that won't leave me snacking at night which has become my downfall (again!). My body just won't tolerate even healthy snacks after a certain point in the evening without punishing me the next day!

HI again girls, checking in. Taking a quick break before I jump in the shower. I am very happy today because it felt so good being on the wii again and catching up with some things. All is fine and just wanted to say a big thanks to you all for the inspiration , support, and encouragement.

Delphi, thanks for the info....I will look into it. I hope things go well for you at the courtroom today. Stay strong

Michelle, congratulationsssss on the loss and on the A. I bet your glad that paper is over and done with and oh I would be real proud too for staying OP and keeping to schedule despite the late nights and everything else. wtg Michelle

MrsPerception, no question in my mind your going to give that lb. a good wtg on the workouts, keep up the great work .

Ladies, I am going to put our new thread up to give any newcomers a heads up and just have it ready for us come June 1st. Catch you soon
