Wow...losses all over the place. I am still holding a bit at 166.something for now. I am determined to drop this silly weight. I often remind myself to be thrilled that it's 160-anything. Tonight is WW weigh-in, so I'm hoping for a modest drop there. Last week I went down 2 pounds there, which was partly dehydration...so now I have to really work to register another loss. Any drop will do...a loss is a loss!!

crazymomma ~ Ah, you poor thing! You know what, I have no doubt in my mind you will get through this, on plan. You are doing so well and despite the odds, you are still so positive.

FSA ~ Thanks! We just dished out all the presents and will be having cake and ice cream soon. Haven't decided whether I will eat any though, probably not. Definitely would be a good way to get a high calorie day in. I'm still having trouble getting enough calories everyday. I do hope LE is having fun and can't wait to get her back here. But man I don't envy catching up from our thread. There are so many to read daily much less trying to catch up after a week.

MsP ~That is exactly how I see it..a loss is a loss, no matter what way you flip it. Keep truckin' dear it will come off soon!

Hi everyone!

Oh my gosh, it took me about 20 minutes to get caught up just on yesterday!!! You guys got so chatty after I logged off!

FSA~ So glad you are back and feeling better!

Delphi~Wow! What a fantastic month you have had!!! You have been working so hard, you deserve it!

Lene~ on the 2 pounds! That is fantastic news! I wish I was losing.

MsP~You are doing so well and have been so dedicated to being OP, I know you will have a loss tonight. for you!

Crazymomma~ Terrific news!!

Newshinyme~I am with you in just hanging on for the month. One hour, one meal, one exercise session at a time.....

Jacqui~Add my thanks for all of your organizational skills. (Although I am getting depressed because it doesn't appear that I am going to make any of my goals AND I might finally have to cave and change the ticker to truly reflect reality.)

So, jumping into a bunch of stuff from yesterday:

Unfortunately you all are probably right that I am going to have to get up early when the girls are home in order to get in my exercise. Not exactly what I wanted to hear since we have to leave the house at 7:30am M/W/F for swim practice but probably what I need to do.

On the perimenopause thing: I just had an appointment with my Dr. where I explained that my energy levels just plummet before my period and I am just way more tired than I have ever been. She did some more blood screenings and determined that I was low on Vitamin D. I have been taking a supplement and it seems to have evened things out a lot.

On lousy fathers who can't support their children:

On men in uniform : Well, I married a naval officer in dress whites so... guilty as charged.

So, last night I realized why I have just been stalled out and floating in & out of maintenance for about 4 months. I have not been ANGRY!!! That's right: When I started my journey and all during while I was losing weight, I was . At myself, at getting that big, on losing control, etc. Once I lost 25 pounds, I started thinking, "OK, I don't look so bad now. People are starting to notice I've lost weight. I am buying new, smaller clothes." Etc, etc, etc. BUT NOT ANGRY. So, I am fed up once again with myself because having gotten this close to goal I am letting it slip away again. NO. NO. NO.
ANGRY. ANGRY WORKS.

There, that's my bit for today. Off to have my sweet potato lunch. Luv ya gals!

urockmom ~ You lucky gal and your hubby! Getting up real early is hard the first week, but let me tell you, after that it becomes extremely easy and quite addictive. I have so much energy throughout the day...it's simply amazing! I think you will do just fine with getting back on track. We got your back!

Hi girls, checking in with you all. I need to head to the shower soon. Dh went to the dentist to get a tooth fixed and depending on how things go , he will be here s hortly. I have been exercising plenty this morning (even did the marcarena and disco slide ) and need to freshen up a b it.

Delphi, You have been and are doing so well....I honestly think a peice of cake at DS b.day party wont impede your weight in any way but it's a personal decison. If you decide to go for it, I certainly wouldn't feel guilty about it......I agree with urockmom. Have fun at the party chicky. OMG, lol @ Le catching up.... so true! When she comes back she will be at all the posts! lol. Those days I wasn't in I had missed a lot (love reading all your news as always) , we really have been cranking those pages out! ah ha! Let's keep on rockin

MsPerception, good luck at the WI tonight : )

urockmom, thanks girl! Your tall and your so close to your goal weight, you know h ow those last 5-10 lbs. can be real buggers! There is a featherweight thread here for you lucky ducks lol they might be able to offer a few suggestions. When I was there at one point, it just took time..eating healthy and exercising. I bet you look absolutey dynamite! Indeed! Just keep at it, you'll get there.....in the meantime, enjoy yourself and the summer and your new physique! As far as floating in and out and maintaining, maintaining is hard work too (jeez it is for me) and that is wonderful that you were able to keep off w hat you lost! As far as getting angry, it works for me like a charm too if and when I take that fuel and turn it around to work for me. You will do it chicky, it might take some time because your so close to goal....try and focus all that you have accomplished so far Oh, thanks about the p.m info too, thanks : ).

As for me girls, been a good day. I kept busy with the wii and did some yoga and dancing too. Feels good to get back to my workouts. Good workouts for a rainy day. I think it is supposed to clear up tomorrow so I definetly want to get out for a walk. Well I better run. Hope you all have a great day and evening. We'll chat soon

Delphi and Lene, congrats on the 2 lb losses!! Woohoo!! I'm so happy for you!!

FSA, it's so great to see your daily posts again! And look at your exercise, lady! You must be feeling better!

Ms_P, just keep at it!! I've got some stubborn lbs too right now!

Urock, thank you for sharing your honest insight about how you started out angry on this weight loss journey but then became complacent. It's sharing difficult experiences like that that help us all out, because then we know what pitfalls to watch out for. I think a lot of us started out angry with ourselves and sometimes we just need to tap back into that! Glad you got your fire back, girlie!

CMof4, congrats on the weight drop!! :carrot" Great job getting your water in to flush that water out! I'm sorry your throat is bothering you though. My daughter's going through that right now. I think it's her sinuses and the draining is causing her throat to be raw. No fun! I hope you feel better soon!

Thank you ladies for your kind words about me keeping the lists! That's awfully sweet! Y'all are the best!!

I am not only holding onto my stubborn lb to keep me from reaching the 180s, but I went up a lb this morning!! I've been OP, so it's water, but still! I did an hour extra of exercise yesterday and drank plenty of water and crossed my fingers as I stepped on the scale so hopeful, and 191 lbs! Pre-TOM is the pits! I'm upping the green tea today to see if that helps any!

Heyyyyyyyyy Jacque! Good to see you back, but bummer you had to start another account and you just had gotten your ticker. Well hopefully the notifications will work with this account.

Jacqui ~ You and that tea. I'm gonna have to try some, one of these days.
