If you are looking for an all-natural cure, I have one I swear by. Heat water to just under boiling, but still steamy and pour into a bowl. Add 4-5 drops of tea tree oil. Put towel over head and inhale. It burned a bit the first few times, but as I got better, it was not as uncomfortable.

The other thing I do, which I would never recommend because it is not safe in anyway, is that I sleep with a cough drop in my mouth.

1) If it rains, I will get haul my butt onto the treadmill.
2) I will not eat mindlessly. I will ask if I am hungry before I eat. If I am not, I will journal about WHY I want to eat. If I am, I will be selective about what it is I truly want.

In other news, we spent $300 to get our mower repaired, and it took three weeks. We fired it up last night.....and it did not work. Oh, DH and I were HOT. DH took it back today and met the guy at the door. I really wanted to be the one who blasted the guy, but DH felt pretty strongly about being the one to go. He gets all the fun.

Unfortunately, I've been doing this for so long now that I no longer have the pleasure of the water weight whoosh. My plans for continued weight loss throughout the challenge are to keep walking...it works! I also need to remove the sugar and go back to the whole grain pastas, rice, etc. I'm seriously considering going back on Phase 1 of Southbeach for the sugar detox. My goals....I want to lose something each and every week. I'd also like to reach Onederland sometime during this challenge. Overly optimistic? Maybe. We'll see.

This sounds like Daniel and I at the car dealership when we had to take the car back (yea the new one we just bought.) Evidently they let us have the car for 3 days, we put over 100 miles on the car and they took 3 days to call and tell us we couldn't be financed.

I was livid and swore to tear the guys head off... and I'm not the type to let things go easy so I was b****in and moaning and getting mad all the way to the dealership. Then Daniel gives me the "I'll handle this cause your yelling isn't going to solve anything."

I was quiet.... but Daniel did tell the salesman that it was in his best interest if he didn't come outside and talk with me cause I was ready to rip him to shreds. So I was satisfied when I heard that.

Keep counting my calories and working out as much as I am comfortable with. I know I could do more but I don't want to have to do that much forever. Make sense? What I am is working, although slowly, and I am fine with that.

For $300 you could have bought a NEW push mower. Or a goat. I hope your DH laid into him good.

I plan on exercising my butt off (literally) and staying OP all the time, not just when I'm motivated enough to stay OP.

VixJean-I work at an internet based company so it allows me (on my slow time) to go online and try to keep up with our chatty blue team The weekends are also family time for me so that's why I'm not on as much on the weekend, plus I have dial-up internet at home so it takes forever for me to post here from home.

mumtoliam-Feel better soon!

FresnoBeeDude- Wow you are looking Your arm muscles are amazing!

Faerie- I'm sorry you have to work the weekend.

So yesterday was still yucky outside and my hubby was working late so my mentality was "guess I'm not going to get to workout" Well my son took an extra long late afternoon nap and I pushed myself and did my WATP for abs 3 mile tape while he was finishing his nap! The exercise challenge is really getting me moving! THANKS CHELLEZ!

That's just not nice. I would be complaining with a follow up letter to someone. I've never left without everything being completely signed and title in hand. What would you have done if you had already gotten rid of your other car?

I suppose I should get going. I have to go babysit my nephew today for about 9 hours. He is 10 months old and just learning how to walk. I should be able to count 7-8 hours of exercise chasing him right?

OMG that sucks chellez! We actually got a crappy bank for our loan, they don't even accept online payments!?!?!?! I am so sorry about that. Strange how they give the car first and try to find a bank later? What are you two to do about that? Hopefully there is a car in reserve for him. =(

Yes, I am waiting for the final results, I LOVE our chart YOU made!!!!
I am really happy you are keeping the info from the beginning, maybe ONE DAY, I will be the weeks biggest looser, but I am VERY PLEASED with any loss.

As for QOTD- geeze I never thought of it as water weight, I honestly plan to rest up this week more so, so I don't injure myself will pushing myself too hard in work outs, continue eating right, BUT I WILL CHANGE: @ a party or something I will have smaller portions of the food, walk around a little and then decide if I really need more, rather than taking a heaping portion... STAY AWAY FROM SWEETS.

Have a great TUESDAY!

I didn't even get a chance to read chat #3. I just haven't been able to get on the computer all that much. I haven't been counting points but just trying not to eat as much. I've been eating too much salt at work. I just can't get get my butt in gear this time around. I'm still losing slowly but I need to be better.

I never raise my voice. I had an ex who called it "verbal castration". My mom calls it "a very unique command of language". When I bought my first car, I took my dad with me so that the guy might not try to screw me to the wall. I kept sending him back to his manager and telling him not to treat me like I was stupid (I worked for a bank, so I knew about car loans). Finally, my dad said, "You're scaring me" and went to talk to someone he knew that worked there.

I did not sign anything that day, but they froze my GM card points. When I tried to purchase somewhere else, I had to call the guy and tell him that I needed him to release them. He called me at work FIVE TIMES that day, trying to work it out with me. I finally called the district manager for sales and told him his guy was harrassing me. Even after that, he sent me a nasty gram saying that I hadn't needed to go that far, and that he need that sale. Puh-lease.

have you seen the video of our mower? We need that exact mower. However, I did mention a goat to DH. If our HOA gets snitty about a solar panel, I can guarantee they will freak about a goat!

Much to my dismay, there was no "whoosh" of water weight loss this time around, so I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing. I've been averaging 2200-2300 calories per day throughout the challenge so far, drinking lots of water, getting plenty of fiber and protein, and you all know I just started exercising, and I've lost 2 pounds each week. Consistent losses is great, but if I could control my eating on the weekends and get down to an average daily intake closer to 2000, I think I'd have a bit more success.
