Good luck tomorrow LeilaJey. I hope you get over the nausea.

I went by my old job today to p/u a couple of things and got to see everybody. It was nice, plenty of hugs, well wishes and advice. A few people said to give it a few months and I will be back. We were too busy in my area to have made the cuts and I don't know how they will do it. I'm hoping they are right.

I forced myself to shop for interview suits today. It wasn't fun. Being 5'1" and 214lbs makes the selections pretty limited. (yeah, my ticker is way off now) I bought one suit that I wasn't very happy with but it was the only one I found that fit. I went to 2 other stores that used to carry plus sizes for suits and they didn't have them anymore. It's hard to imagine having even fewer choices for clothes than I thought. I found one more later that was better which I bought too but was unfortunately 4x the cost. How much does it have to cost to get hired somewhere? Of course if I was thinner I would have had millions of other choices...

I'm going out of town tomorrow through Friday to visit my mom. I think I will have internet access but if not I will catch up with you all when I get back.

Back home and feeling pretty good thought I was going to be sedated and what not but they said they couldn't because it was dangerous because of the antibiotics/infection etc. They were pretty worried at the start that I might be able to feel it and then they'd have to give me full proper scary surgery but then luckily I couldn't and it came out really quickly! I asked to keep the little ******* haha so I'm enjoying some painkillers and lying on the couch.

Holly if by soft food you mean Ben & Jerrys then yes, I stocked up. Now to stop myself from eating the entire tub. Only 1350cals per tub.. hmmm. I got some soup too though so I'll balance it out. Also don't worry about eating the cookies! I'm sure they were tasty so just enjoy that and as you said move on, it's not a big deal to do that sometimes! You're going through some stuff right now.

hope: so there's a chance you'll get taken back? I hope they realise their mistake soon! I know lots of companies are under huge pressure these days. Have you looked in any second hand places for clothes? I pretty much only buy stuff in thrift stores but I know it can be hard sometimes to find sizes. I'm not sure what kind of work you do either so not sure if that's an option for interviews. Have a great time with your mom!

Hope - I am also excited by hearing that your co-workers think you might get hired back? so sorry about the shopping for suits being a drag. I would also hope that you could get something(s) at a thrift shop, wouldn't that be great.

LeilaJey - yay that it's over!! I actually asked for intravenous sedation when I had some dental surgery a year-ish ago. It was all a blank. Sore afterwards, yes, though.

LOL at the Ben & Jerry's..here's some funny info - my husband worked for them years ago, and YES, employees get to take home 3 free pints of ice cream every day..YES, 3 a day! and we stocked up...we have a separate upright freezer and that thing was filled, it looked like a retail store and yes I got so fat. and the cholesterol was probably horrible in me!

I *think* my blah-ness is over. I find myself looking forward to the time ahead, where I wasn't doing that for a bit. I am excited about starting the GOOD summer job tomorrow! I was kinda pissed when I got home tonight, that there was no big deal made of today being my last day at the stupid winter job place, let alone even mentioning it. I would have made a big deal if it was my son, or my husband's last day at a cruddy job.selfish men!! A special meal, or a sign, or a balloon or something. Selfish men Am I being selfish myself? or a big baby?
