Planning Commission is when the Planning Commission Board meets to decide area zone changes, hotels going up, changes to an area to put in shopping centers, etc. It just calls for a busy day on the clerical end making sure the meeting room is set up, waters for all , resolutions are packaged and given to all the board members, food is on time, etc. I usually work through my lunch or go online (obviously) just in case someone needs something. A grunt job for the board.

DH went to the doctor yesterday and he has to be in his splint until Sunday and after that, he needs to start walking on it...right...the foot is still so swollen he can hardly do the exercises.

SUNNY...DIY...sounds like my type of viewing. Anything I would be able to get in MI?
More snow???? Good golly miss molly!!! We're supposed to be in the upper 50s today. YEAH!

I wouldn't mind starting to walk more...I was but then I stopped last week sometime. Of course, it got cold and windy too. Am I whining?

Later...

God works in great ways if we will just let him............
Last night I was given the chance to say someting to my mother about hte way I am trying to eat. It couldn't have worked out better. I told her after church I was starved and was going to go home to get a bite to eat. My son had chicken strips and had a few left. My mom said you should have eaten them and I told her " No, I finally had broken through a stall after about 3 weeks and really was afraid if I ate any Flour, sugar or starches that it would throw me off again, and that I really wanted to lose about 10 or 15 more lbs by my sons graduation." No hard feelings YAHOOOO!

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

Gary, Thank You I do feel like I am on a guilt trip sometimes.

I have a question...

Why is it that most of you if not all of you have the red exclamation on the bottom next to your egg and I don't? It says it's to report a bad post. To the newbies, how did you come across one and what type of stuff does it say?

Duhhh...me...not getin it.

lol...Mkay, i wondered that too, but i see a red exclamation point by your post, but not by mine. You can't see your exclamation post probably b/c you can't tell on yourself for a bad post. You are very observant, sweets.

cbaumgardner~Kudos to you~ It's very difficult sometimes to let people know that you are changing your life, without them feeling bad or feel that you are saying something about them, but you handled that wonderfully! I hope you feel proud for your efforts.

I'm here - boy you miss one day posting around here and grrrrrr - it's nice to be missed! Just have a few minutes for a couple of hellos. . . today has been one of those 'do it now' from my boss. Luckily those don't happen very often but when they come, you do have to 'do it NOW'! I also have the best boss in the world, so I don't complain - at all, he's great, - anywayyyyy,

SunnyD - Yes ma'am, I've been keeping up my walking, Wednesday's are difficult so didn't get anything in yesterday but did my lunch walk today and am now at 46.85 miles. Hoping the rain will hold off a little while tonite so I can walk the park when I take Sara to her tennis lesson, perhaps get a couple laps there.

Thanks also for the names/locations/b-days. I have taken your advice from previous and am making me a folder of 'notes' so I can keep track of everyone. FYI, my birthday is 1/16 and my DD Sara is 2/18. Love the pics of your boys. Once I figure out, and have time, to post some pics, I'll show you all my girls (1 cat, 1 dog, 1 rabbit, and of course 1 daughter! )

lateralus/Rachel - CHINA? Sounds great. I would love to do some international travel but my DD has a great fear of flying and unless they build a bridge to Europe. . .some motivation though for helping to drop a couple more pounds in the next month huh? We leave for the beach at the end of May and I know that's helping to push me a little more also.

Glad you're enjoying Curves, hopefully it will work for you and your schedule. Your dinner out sounded yummy, haven't had the escargot, they say it's really good if you can get it past your nose!

EZ - YEAH Amanda! When you and Angie did the marathon, was that walking?? Do you still walk that much? How long did it take you to train for that? I have thought about joggin/running but I figure 'hey if God wants me to run, He had better put somebody REALLY good lookin' in front of me', either that or somebody with a bloody knife chasing me!!!

Gotta run and pick-up DD from school. Hugs & prayers to all - Margie

Wink How to Post Images:

~ POSTING IMAGES ~
Here we go --- (maybe you will want to print this up to follow)
Well, what I do is this...

FIRST - you will OPEN A SEPARATE WINDOW from the window you are in at 3FATCICKS --- by going to your START & then click on your INTERNET EXPLORER another window should open up for you then...

SECOND - you use that second window to go do a search with GOOGLE and type in FREE GRAPHICS, or GIFS or ANIMATIONS; then once you have found a site and the graphic you want...

THIRD - you will RIGHT CLICK ON THE IMAGE (if site will permit the right click & save - if not it will tell you so in a bubble) and then SAVE to your HARD DRIVE in a FOLDER that you have named so you will know where to find it again. I have mine in MY DOCUMENTS with a folder titled Graphics.

FOURTH - To post your pictures go to this FREE Website Photobucket.com and upload your graphics, animations or home pictures (NOTE - resized your home pictures to be SMALLER - 400 x 300 pixils - BEFORE you upload them to photobucket or we'll be waiting forever for them to come up on the forum ) to Photobucket and then just Highlight & Copy the IMG address with the img code that they give you under the picture (third one down) and post it right into your post where you want it to be. This way your pictures will be IN your post and not just at the bottom. That's it!

***LUCK***
Happy imaging

Default me Again!

We left on SAt. 16th we got down there early afternoon got set up. They let the girls stay in the house the church owns (right across road from the church) and the boys stayed in the church, they did the program 13 times which was great the nursing homes were awesome. there was a 96 year old lady at the Lutheran home that remembered the kids from last year, she was an inspiration to them, they were very intimidated at the Baptist High school chapel they did as it was in from of 270 of their peers. The group from there opened for them with electric guitars and drums, and a beautiful rendition of "I'll fly away" . They were like wow and now we have to get up there, but they were very well recieved, and did great. We went to Cpae May on Tuesday our free day, which was really nice, I'll post a pic of the lighthouse with group in front. They got to catch baby horseshoe crabs, find shells, and fosil rocks ect. They got to see the only concrete ship the Navy ever made that sank, they never removed it, I'll post a pic of that too. The on Friday our other free day we spent the day in Ocean City on the boardwalk, most of which was still closed, but is a beautiful area, and beach. We had an awesome time. The kids did good.

Well, I feel better after going to Curves today. Thanks everyone for your support. I'm having a dinner that is lower in carbohydrates than the dinner I had origianlly planned, so we'll see how it shakes. Exercising always makes you feel better!

I can't believe how busy this thread is. I love it! I'm just having trouble keeping up with everyone. You see, I'm feeling really old right now. In Sunny's list I was born in 1944 when I was actually born in 1959. I know it was just a typo and it doesn't bother me. Maybe I should have left it and then when you all saw pictures of me you'd say how great I looked for my age.

Things are going so much better at work. Lots of you have been asking about my coworker and how we're getting along. It's taken a while but we seem to be getting back to where we were. I decided not to do the lunch thing because she would think i singled her out. It's working itself out on it's own. Thanks so much for praying.

DS (who broke up with his girl) is doing much better. His BD is next weekend and he has requested having a barbeque with some friends. he always wants an ice cream cake so that's what he'll get for his BD cake.

My computer is giving me grief right now so I'm going to sign off and try again later.

Talk to you soon!
