Linus. I gave up caffeine years ago when I was pregnant. I started off by switching to Decaff coffee, then moved on to decaff diet coke. It was wierd at first but now I can't tell the difference. Only ever drink caffeine if there is no alternative. Have recently started drinking tea (never liked it before but have developed a taste for it - lol) I have been buying the Tetley decaff and it is ok. Stick with it you will get there.

Linus, if you're suffering from headaches with your withdrawal from caffiene, make sure you drink loads of water luv. I never, NEVER used to drink water unless it had some flavour and now I don't ever drink less than six HUGE glasses a day and that's not counting my cuppa's.
I set myself times to drink as I found it hard, but it's just part of my life now. I drink my cuppa first thing, six a.m. Then a glass of water, then breakfast with another glass before work. At lunch time I drink water and a cuppa, when I get home I drink a glass, one with dinner and then one during the evening, and sometimes I drink more because I'm just plain thirsty.
I do tend to stay away from soda but do have a treat of the diet vaariety every now and then, and I'm not a big acoholic drinker so I find it easy to deal with that. So drink, drink, drink luv, and be merry. On water of course

I must admit i don't think i would no the difference between caffeinated and caffeine free stuff i've got some caffeine free diet coke in the fridge and i certainly can't taste any difference (have'nt done a taste test tho' ) what was weird about it Super? i don't like coke anyway unless there is a dark rum in it no wonder coke is so popular over here there is no competition! there is a much better choice of pop in the UK dandelion and burdock and vimto being 2 of my faves

I am a particulary happy bunny this morning because I looked in the SW syns book and I noticed that Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Farmhouse yogurt - Gooseberry one is only 2 sins! It takes so creamy it should be arrested! They have other flavours such as strawberry but they are all different syn values.

I know it would be better if it was 0 synvalues but most very low fat ones are not vegetarian and I do love creamy yoghurts!

I can tell the diff between reg and diet but i don't think i'd be able to tell the diff with the caffiene free stuff i've had the vanilla one cos someone said it tastes like cream soda, but it does'nt to me not tried the lemon one tho' and i won't be rushing out to buy any you'll be surprised at how soon you're not bothered about it Kirsty i used to drink quite a bit of fizzy pop but i'm not bothered anymore.
