Ebe, how about doing upper body weights today. That will make you feel like you did something. Just going to the gym makes you feel like you accomplished something! I wanted to snack so bad today, but resisted because I thought of my goals. Bought a star buck's coffee instead. Boy, was that goooood.

HAPPY FRIDAY, EVERYBODY!!

I want to thank you Dena for telling me about fitday. I really think that it has helped kept me on track.

Kempy, yes, fitday has helped me a lot, too.

How was your trip to CA. What did you do? Was the weather good? I hope. It's been a little crazy lately. Today cloudy. Yesterday sunny.

Any plans for the weekend? I hope to catch a movie. Don't know what yet.

I didn't go to CA. Are you sure it was me you were thinking about. We are going to San Diego in March though.

I wont be doing much of anything. Joe is hunting again so it is me and the cats. It is going to be cold and raining on Sunday so I think it is a good day to stay in and watch movies. i borrowed a bunchfrom my MIL so I will finally get to watch them all. I will just have to watch the amount of popcorn that is consumed. lol

Ebe,

You did absolutely great today!!! You accomplished a goal... just going to the gym is a super goal!!! I'm so proud of you. Please take care of your leg. Hey, pass me some wine. I could use a glass tonite. lol

Now for my goals~~

I just counted my meals on fitday. I somehow managed to consume 1541 cals today. Going out to dinner always throws me off!

However, earlier I did do 20 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the elliptical machine and another 10 minutes of weight training. That should count for something.

Plus I drank my 8 glasses of water today.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Luv, D

Hang in there, everyone. It is the weekend once again, and the weekend always is a bit of a challenge for me.

We ate out last night. That's another challenge, but I did pretty good. The weather is cold, which makes me hungry. I am always cold because as my doctor said, "You've lost that nice layer of fat that was keeping you warm!" Oh, well, I really don't want that nice layer of fat back.

Onward through life we go. Ebe, is any of that wine left? I may want some this evening. . . .

Happy Saturday, Everyone! The weekend finally arrived!! Here I am sipping my coffee and my hubby is in the kitchen cooking breakfast... who could ask for anything more! Yum... smells good, too. lol What a great hubby!

Okay time for today's goals:
1. Count cals before I eat.
2. Walk them cals off!! Smells like eggs and bacon. Mmmm
3. 8 glasses of water
4. Vitamins
5. Happy Attitude-Yesterday I met 3 nice people at the gym with my happy attitude. How about that!

I'm ready for a great weekend. It's all in the positive attitude.

JoJo, your doctor and family must be so proud of you that you are a thinner lady these days. Congratulations. What kind of animals roam around there? We have lots of racoons, skunks, possums, some coyotes but these guys usually come out at night. We do see all types of cool birds. I love animals, so I'm just wondering what you see in Wyoming.

Okay, have fun, everyone.

Luv, D

Default How's it going?

I got an e-mail saying I should post here. Since the new year I think I posted in many threads. Anyway, I wish everyone luck. I thought I did terrible this week but I didn't do as bad as I thought. I lost 1 and one half lb. this week which is what I would like to do every week. I returned to WW so I think that helps. (I'm a Lifetimer who regained my weight). I've been writing everything down and I know that's key. Question for you: I would like to do the journal here at this website but it said I couldn't. What do you need to access this? Also, anyone doing this journal...does it help you and is it a free service? Thanks for your input and good luck to everyone.

You asked me -

In Wyoming I often see mule deer and antelope nearby. That is, I see them often enough that I really don't pay much attention to them. Recently a doe was spotted wandering down the middle of our street. We are a couple of blocks from the North Platte River, and the deer are often there. As for the antelope, the biggest herd in North America is located in our county.

Actually Wyoming is big game country. In addition to the deer and antelope, we have elk, bear, moose, etc. People come from all over the world to stalk their big game in this state.

No, I don't work for the Chambe of Commerce, I just like my state.

I hope everyone did better than I did over the weekend. Weekends are tough for me. But tomorrow I will happily go back to a normal routine, keeping control of my eating.

I'll check with you all later. Keep smiling -

Good Morning All,

Another Monday! Here we go again. I'm setting my goals of drinking my water, keeping track of calories and exercising.

Musicgal, sorry I'm not sure about what you mean. Maybe DWLZ.com has more infor on WW journals. Congrats on your weightloss. How does it feel to be back at WW? Does it help to be with a group?

JoJo, thanks for the Wyoming update. I would have so much fun playing with all the animals I wouldn't get any work done. My Nick Name is Dr. Doolittle. I love talking to animals and they understand me.

Ebe, great job on the exercise. I love to hear about your workouts. I think of you when I'm at the gym and go the extra mile. Thanks.

Kemp, how are things today? What movies did you see over the weekend?

Gotta run.

D

Ebe you are a die hard!

JoJo the only things we see are the occasional deer, a few bald eagles and lots of possum and raccoons. If we head into the marsh (not very far from my house) we will see alligators and nutrea. I bet it is really neat to see big animals like that. I would probably be scared to leave the house.

I am an animal talker too Dena. I am not certain if they really undersatnd me but I have this weird animal thing, they all like me. My mom has a cat that hates my sister but loves me. The weird thing is my sister loves cats and has a few of them but my moms cat refuses to go near her.

I didn't get to watch any movies b/c football wa on and Joe came home early from hunting so I got the joy of watching that. But I wanted to spend time with him so I had to watch it too.

I want to do this! May I join in? I like the idea of "one day at a time." My worst time of day is right when I get home from work. It usually falls to me to cook, so I'm in the kitchen right when I get home...and the pantry cupboard is there and all the teenager junk food beckons... Hard to reach for the baby carrots when the Goldfish crackers are calling. What can I eat that will kill the craving but not overload me with calories? After I go to all the trouble to cook dinner, it's hard *not* to eat it...

Today was a fairly good day...snacked on fruit, didn't binge too much when I got home...worked out at Curves...

Tomorrow, I will stick to it again (note to self: buy more fruit). Need to plan dinner tomorrow night so I don't spend too much time in the kitchen grazing while I'm deciding. Going to do my journal now.

G'night all!
