I love the last line that popped up in your signature too.. My husbands aunt was like that with me ... Guess there is one in every family lol.

Sooo understand wanting to be in a new decade of numbers... It feels so good doesn't it? And for some reason even if it is just a 1/4 lb it feels so good to roll that number over...

AnaBee have you tried allergy meds - it has been the worst allergy season in ages ... And maybe take some multi-vitamins or vitamin C? That must be making you so frustrated..

It really does feel good. Week 1 induction took me from low 240s to low 230s! That was great! I'm realllly excited to get to the 2teens. I have been losing the same 15 pounds for several years. I'm feeling extremely committed to this WOL. I can do it this time. The 2teens would really confirm that THIS TIME I'm going all the way.

I had my drop finally! Woke up and my muscles finally weren't hurting (went from very painful and hard to walk to almost nothing overnight), I probably lost the water my muscles were retaining. Last night I took a hot bath and flexed them in the tub, so I wonder if that helped.

176.2! Lowest ever! I've lost 20 and a half lbs on Atkins so far and I'm only a pound away from Memorial Day goal

Been reading the posts and it always gets me motivated with all the support on this list. I have gained some weight back with two new knee surgeries and lost a lot of muscles. Im wondering on Atkins what to eat to regain muscle and of course i know exercise will work wonders. I hope theres another challenge to join after the memorial day is finished.... i need a real big boost or kick in the butt,, any takers????
Hope im posting this right, let me know if ive flubbed up ...again......

I'm up for a challenge too, I think someone was talking about starting a 4rth of July challenge as soon as the Memorial Day is over. Challenges help keep me motivated so I am definitely looking forward to one! Everyone is doing really great so far on this one....time for a final push...you can do it everyone!

We are doing another challenge after this one You guys are more than welcome to join!

176.2 again today, happy because it's not a gain and shows that the number I saw yesterday was real and not a fluke. In past history though I usually see a slight gain after my weight stays the same for a few days in a row. TOM should be any day now.

carvinmom and gap just join in.. these challeges I love and they definitely have kept me motivated.. the support you get is incredible and reading others losses encourage me..

Step congrats on the new low it probably will drop again if TOM is around the corner.. 20 lbs is a great goal and you lost it steady and that is how you want it to be

rho you have done so well and once again inspiring like so many of the others.. also you too serenity very inspiring..

TOM is here in full effect for me.. I haven't exercised at all while on TOM.. the scale hasb't moved which is to be expected on TOM so I will do my official weigh in once TOM has went away.. however I did my memorial day goal so something to be happy about..

A question for those out there who has the Atkins Bars.. I bought like 4 boxes thinking they would be good snacks to have etc.. when I move on the maintenance and switching to the GI Diet etc.. they are good but they give me gas sorry if TMI has this happened to anyone.. I know I want be buying anymore not because they aren't good but I can't deal with the gas

Globe - maybe save the bars for emergencies and then try eating only half of one... I had some awhile ago and I was afraid they stalled me so when I needed a treat I would cut it into slices and eat two slices and put the rest in a bag in a plastic bag (it was the coconut one)

Waiting to go get blood work done... For my doctors appointment next week ... I always stress about it isn't that weird? I need coffee!!

My new fridge will be delivered next Friday.... Lots to do before it gets here - need a water line installed .. And need to organize and get ready to move chairs, computers etc for them to come thru the living room then move cabinets and shelves in the kitchen and things around the old one because the new one is wider ... And of course I need to go thru the fridge and freezer and use this as an opportunity to get rid of things that can go in the garbage etc. that I will do Sunday since garbage pickup is Monday early..

I hate spending that kind of money but it was a great sale and I get a rebate from the power company and our old one is dying..

rho is sounds as if you have a busy day.. you can count that as exericise

I have the cappucino nut bars and like I said they are good but I can't deal with the gas, so they will just sit in my cabinets..

I will weigh on monday once TOM has gone.. I've been lazy since TOM but I told myself on Wednesday I did a lot of walking in the city and yesterday a little of walking as well..so maybe giving my body a break is needed..

Hey guys, thanks Rho and Globe for the encouragement. I finally had a drop this week, 208 yesterday, 207.8 today, made me pretty happy and relieved. Hopefully I won't be seeing the 212 ever again. I'm thinking my new goal will be "one"der land like you Rho
Steph: Glad you survived that hike, I would have probably been crying like you too. We did a short 1 mile hike round trip Tuesday with my son which was mostly flat but he got tired and whiny at the end so next time definitely bringing the backpack. I think we might attempt another one in a couple of weeks but this time up one of the buttes here, I think it's about 3 miles round trip but should be fun

TGIF! Getting myself prepared food-wise for the weekend. Weekends are usually tricky for me because I am home all day and want to snack. But if I plan out my meals and have everything on hand, it makes it much easier.

Globe, those Atkins products contain sugar alcohols which upset some people's stomachs.

Air and Steph congrats on your drops. Everyone seems to have very accurate digital scales. I guess my scale is old because it is digital, but only shows half pound increments. For me this is good because I would be thrown into a tizzy if I gained .2 lbs.

Running to the store to stock up for the weekend. ttfn. fingers crossed for my wi tomorrow.
