Finished Day 5 of the new EA game and still love it. Also got in 50 Minutes on the treadmill. Yesterday I got in 30 Days on the treadmill and took my dog for a 30 minute walk. I'm soooooooo ready for bed.
Hi Everyone. Moving right along. I decided to take 2 of my dogs for a walk. We had a nice long watch. I forgot to look at the time when we left. I had been walking for approx 5 min when I did remember to look. It was noon. It was 1:16 pm when we got back. I am going to say we walked for an hour. The dogs are ready for a nap. Wore their waggers out. I am marking my calander tomorrow is official weigh in day.
110min +60 min = 170 min/miles 1,230 minutes/miles to go!! Catch ya all later Pat
It's getting pretty quiet around here. I hope this challenge isn't dying out. After doing BL Bootcamp last night my entire lower body hurts. Sitting down, not so easy. Then what do we do tonight. Run 5k. I was dragging my butt along let me tell you. It was just one of those days when I didn't feel up to the challenge. I did it, but it wasn't easy.
My scale is still up at 191.2 and is it really starting to P*** me off.
Went a bit off plan yesterday for a staff retreat. Kinda hard to stay on when it is catered at a a B&B. She served us scones, ceaser salad, curried chicken, and puffed pastries filled with ice cream and hot fudge...come on how unfair is this!!!! I swear the harder I try the harder people make it for me!! I must admit I was down one pound though! Hopefully all the gardening I have been doing is paying off. No exercising tonight as I have to babysit right after work. I have all weekend though to play with the new Wii Fit game. Can't wait for June's challenge to begin so I can start the 30 day program!!!
I'm finally(!) back below my lowest weight, after the weekend of excess. Which means that I'm back below my goal weight for the challenge. Bring on the weigh in!
Hey all, been a few days since I posted, oops, but I'm glad to say that my weigh in this week is 1lb down so thats 4lbs for this challenge, not what I wanted but better than last months, oh and the month before hehe.
So busy weekend this week, hope everyone is good, and will read through all the pages I missed this week, hehe
I'm back. Sorry I have been awol, but I had major problems with my account. Long story...anyway...My boot camp has been awesome!! I was hoping that I would post all the things we did daily, but as you can see that didn't happen. Had three days this week, and we kicked butt!!! Tuesday, so she said, wouldn't be tough, but I guess after a long weekend, we all felt differently. It was all lower body with almost no rest. Thursday and Friday, I can't even remember. CRS is acting up again. So I am hoping that if there is a June Bootcamp thread, I will be able to remember what we do daily and post it for all of you. The workouts really are good!! No great!! And she always switches it up so we don't get bored. She might give handouts so that will be easier for me to to post here for you all.
zoochick777I would like to get Wii Active but I think I will wait till after summer. Since I have so much going on this summer, it makes more sense to have that when the weather is cooler and I want to be inside. Glad you like it.
#1 Plan - Calorie Counting using "Lost It" app on my iPod Touch.
DONE
#2 Exercise - 440 minutes/week minimum workout time. These minutes include 3 days at gym for an hour each, pilates 3x a week for 1 hour and 2 sessions of cardio) on 2 of the pilates days - not really "boot camp", but since I am doing an actual BC starting the 19th this is what I will do for now!!!
DONE
#3 Relaxation - That's a hard one since I am fortunate to have time to do that often. But probably my favorite "relaxation" time is on my deck hanging with the BF!! Maybe I will take a Jacuzzi bath once a week - I never do it!
Sat on the deck relaxing, never took a Jacuzzi bath
#4 Water - Two - 33.8 oz bottles of Smart Water plus more in a cup next to my bed at night.
DONE
#5 De-clutter - Hard for me to de-clutter as I am a neat freak. But I will straighten out kitchen cabinets and junk drawers...been wanting to do this for years. Also will start to prepare for the neighborhood yard sale in first week of June!!
I did more then I even imagined. The kitchen was worse then I thought...had a lot of stuff I never use. Doing more this weekend.
#6 Pamper - I already treat myself to either a mani every week. Maybe I will tell the BF he "has to" massage me once a week!!! He hates doing it!!
Got a professional massage this past week.
#7 Work on Meditating - I like it but never seem to do it!!!
Didn't do it.
#8 Motto - You are FINALLY doing it, girlfriend!!!!
Said this many times this month
#9 Goals - Weight loss - 1.5 - 2 pounds a week.
Not sure what is a doable inch loss, but I have measured and would like to see every area decrease a little.
DONE
#10 Reward - Clothes shopping - maybe some cute new shorts!!!
DONE...actually bought a size 6...goodbye 10s and 12s!!! Gonna hold on to the 8s cause not all 6s fit me
I am grumpy and frustrated. So let me just say, BL bootcamp on Wed, 5k on TH, 3 mile hike on F. Scale sucks, don't want to talk about it. I can't seem to get a break no matter what.
1. Food – I counted my calories, which I have been avoiding, and it was really useful. I was aiming for 1500cal everyday, but actually averaged 1575cal.
2. Exercise – I only managed an average of 275min of high intensity exercise per week, but I tried a few new things, and I took three days off while my sister was here.
3. Relax – No issues with this one. Currently mooching on the couch watching the third season of Northern Exposure.
4. Water – I had a couple of days when I forgot, but pretty good.
5. Declutter – I decluttered most of the house - except for my bedroom, which is still a disaster area.
6. Pamper – I got my hair cut, and I'm going to get my eyebrows done today.
7. Other – Sleep. Still not good. I did manage to make it more of a priority, but didn't manage to be consistent.
8. Mantra – Fake it till you make it.
9. Goal – Final weigh in - 104.1kg (229lb). I lost 4.4kg (9.7lb) which I am ecstatic about.
10. Reward – Off to buy running shoes today. May also find something slightly more frivolous.
Looking forward to finding out how everyone else went.
May bootcamp was good for me. I didn't do as well as I wanted to, but I lost 7.6 ponds this month and I am pretty pleased with that. it It really kep me going to be part of bootcamp- otherwise I don't think I would have done much this month, casue I kept falling by the wayside.
I found a friend to walk with me and I am up to walking 2 miles at a time.
My non weight related goal was to tackle paperwork that had been piling up and I did that! Major accomplishment for me.
I am planning an even better month next month! Looking forward to everyone's posts today! Jacque and couch- you guys did great!!
casue I kept falling by the wayside Jacque and couch- you guys did great!!
Thank you...it was a good month!!! Don't let yourself be second to anything or anyone!! YOu are number one..you need to take care of yourself to be able to take care of everything/everyone else!!!
Hey everyone.... we are at the end of the month. I didnt reach my goal but it was a very productive month. and im convinced next month is going to be better (!!!!).
#1 PLAN: 1,200 Calorie Diet, Calorie Counting, Lacto-Vegetarian diet. I didnt strictly stick to the 1,200 cal diet. Most days were 1,400 cal.... and a exception of weekends *slaps wrist* of 1,800- 2,000 cal days.
#2. EXERCISE: 600 Minutes Cardio Excerise, 500xLifting Weights, 400 Crunches in May. I reached my excerise minutes. YAY. Almost reached my crunches. And I was 100 back on my weights. But overall a good excerise month.
#3. RELAXATION: Comes in morning before everyone in the house is awake. Im still working on this.
#4. WATER: Drink 64 fl oz water everyday. Most days I drank anywhere between 60-80 fl oz.
#5. DECLUTTER YOUR HOUSE: To be able to come home everyday and have the house organized completely before bed. dishes, messes cleaned etc. This was basically a success.
#6. PAMPER/GROOMING: Once a week taking a nice long bath with salts, doing complete care on my body face to toes! Didnt do so well on this one.
#7. EXTRA AREA TO WORK ON: House Organization && Time Management. This was one area of success.
#8. MOTTO: No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, for those who have been trained by it, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace.
Hebrews 12:11 Soooo true!
#9. GOALS: I've gained 2 lbs from lack of excerise over last couple of weeks so that brings me to 197lbs. So my May goal is to weigh 184lbs at end of the month. That will be a weight loss total of 13lbs. I also want to quit coffee completely! So I will be putting tea in place of coffee. Healthy lifestyle, Here I come. I didnt make my goal of 184lbs. I weighed in today at 187lbs. Which is a loss for this week of -2lbs. A total weight loss of 10lbs for the month!!!!!!!! I didnt make goal but I am extremely happy. I am under 190!
#10. REWARD: I want to really reward myself- so hopefully will keep me on track. Hopefully the incentive will boost it.
CD player
WOW gospels #1s
Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook I didnt make my goal so these things will have to wait... but I will reward myself with something small just because I deserve it!!!
Congratulations ladies we did it. And we had a wonderful month.
