Thanks JoJoP Hang in there and you will reach your goal.
137 today only 2 pounds til my mini goal! I am heading to Cancun in April with a bunch of girlfriends, my first vacation since having kids(my oldest is 20) and I really want to wear a bikini(haven't worn one since having kids either lol)This has really helped to keep me motivated with exercising and eating right. Hope everyone has a great week!

I want the same! Goodluck!

Hi Everyone!

I've weighed in two consecutive days in the 130s and can say for the first time in my life, I am in the 130s! I'm definitely ready to get out of here and see what I can do but I am really excited to have made it this far!

However, now my mom has joined other moms at church on the "you're getting too thin" bandwagon. I don't understand it because...

1. I have JUST broken into the healthy weight range for my height. Maybe my mom and others are not used to seeing me this thin, especially since all the other women in my family are either overweight or at the way top of their healthy weight range. I want to break the cycle and be thin!

2. The moms at church all have daughters that are way thinner than I am! its super annoying that they would fixate on me, gossiping about how I am "malnurished" and "too skinny"

Have any of you guys experienced this?

Looks like I won't be out of the 130s by March 1, but I'm also building muscle now, so no worries!

Well....I didn't start this journey as a featherweight, that's for sure. But nearly 80 pounds down, I tiptoed into the 130s yesterday and stayed there this morning. Getting out of the 140s has been an 8 week battle - the slowest yet of this journey. My initial goal weight was 135, so I'm hoping to reach that and then reassess for a lower goal weight of 125. I have a large frame, despite being 5'0 tall, so I'm not quite sure what my ideal weight should be.

welcome dogdaysofdiets - and congrats on the awesome loss! i hope you are enjoying your body!

-
My body drops the weight in weird intervals or so. I was stuck at the 138-139 for 2/3 weeks, and then within a matter of 2 days went to 132-133. And now I am sitting here for a week already. While my deficit would warrant atleast some loss. I know in a week or more, I'll probably drop down to 128 just like that. Weirdness.

I have a similar experience, I inch along for a week or 2, go up one week a smidge and then blammo, down again significantly so usually.

Philana, we're like weight loss twins XDD

I tried weighing myself on my digital scale and my parents old dial scale...I'm 133 on their scale and 132.2 on my scale, so I'm calling it 133.

My mom made granola last night, and she must have put in less brown sugar than she normally does, because it barely tastes sweet and is AMAZING! My dad doesn't like it so...more for me! One more food to be careful around, but I figure a few spoonfuls a day won't kill me >__>;

Haha, I saw your other post too, we must be! We have about the same stats also. It's cool! I am pretty sure I am at 133 right now too, maybe even 134 after my crazy carnival party day today.

I have to say gals, the low 130s is the nicest place I've been in YEARS. I feel really like my old self again. I don't shy away from pictures anymore. I dare to dress in tight clothes. I jump around and make jokes. Basically I am just me again. It will only get better the lower I go, but obviously this is the weight where I will have to never go above anymore. I know now the difference between being 140 and 132. And it's major for me. So, there's my max for once I go into maintenance or find myself slipping ever again. 132-135. Not an ounce more.
