I've been in the high 130s for the past few weeks now. I haven't ventured out of the 20somethings forum, but this featherweight forum seems like a good place to transition into, although I don't see myself as a featherweight just yet. lol
Philana - It's good to see you here! Sounds like we are around the same place. Let's hope the 130s are less painful than the 140s, although I don't think they will be. Let's just pray for the patience to get through it! lol
crazygurl that sounds like awesome goal, I hope to be at 135 by the end of the month.
I am just confused! I was stuck at 142 for a month, I worked super hard, just was not perfect on my diet (though still pretty decent) and nothing happened. Then I upped my game in April and dropped steadily the past 17 days. The last 3 days I ate not so perfect (binge yesterday) and did not exercise for 2 of them and I dropped 1.5 lbs.
I am not complaining but I just never know what to expect anymore! Weirdness.

philana I definitely understand you 100%. I weigh more in the mornings on an empty stomach and weigh less on a full stomach after lunch or dinner I have no answer on that one. It seems when you work hard etc.. often no results then when you are a bit let's say not working as hard you lose LOL.. I've put my goal at 128 pounds and ideal weight at 125 just not to stress myself out. I'm hoping by next Sunday I'll be 138 or less..
I think the closer we get to our goal weight our body needs a bit more of a shock.. they say those last 10 pounds are a killer and I believe now!!!!!
Up 1.2 to 131.2 ... I assume it is water weight. Doing a juice cleanse over the next three days (I'm skeptical, but am doing it as moral support for a friend who is getting married in 3 weeks). It will be interesting to see where I'm at on Friday morning!!! Hope you all are having a good week.
I am 138 again today, no scale movement. Once I get a woosh and am loosing a lot in a week I almost start to expect the scale to drop daily. I have to remind myself what it takes to burn a pound of fat and that I am not going to drop a pound a day!
Today is a special day, I've been re-dedicated to loosing weight for 30 days now! I have been doing Dr. Cranton's elimination diet for the past 30 days and tomorrow I will be transitioning to The Primal Blueprint. You are allowed limitied indulgences, so I made myself a chart with 4 small glasses of wine a week, 3 servings of cheese, 2 servings of yogurt, 1 frozen yogurt, and 3 servings of dark chocolate. When I have one of the above I will cross it off on my weekly chart. I am interested to see what will occur since I have been on such a limited diet the past 30 days but I am hoping it will spark the scale to move. It has really helped eliminating all of the glueten, soy and dairy from my diet and I feel great too- no more processed foods!
Lovely- Good luck with the juice cleanse- I actually enjoy doing those things once and awhile.
Philana- I am thinking it might take me until the end of the month too- who knows...it depends on how everything goes. Would love to see the scale go down by the end of the week so I'd be halfway there though... :-)
Crazygurl, I stopped eating foods with gluten for the past week and a half. I feel so much better for it! I also stopped drinking my daily 1/2 glass of soy milk for breakfast. I'm not totally soy and dairy free, but working on it. After seeing the Dr. Oz show, I learned that wheat and dairy products aren't always the best. Let's see if the scale moves.
globe: it is weird! Goodluck on reaching that goal. It should be possible, but oyu never know what the body is gonna do!
crazy: I so understand what you mean about wooshes and expecting the scale to drop. But you are right, nobody burns a lbs overnight!

The scale just dropped again after another not so perfect (nutrient wise) eating day and no exercise. I just had the scale drop 2.4lbs in 2 days. I am trying to tell myself this might be the weight that I lost next month when I stalled. Just to make it a bit less freaky. Unless I've been completely wrong on my counting calories I created a 8500 calorie deficit this month, and I've dropped 5.4lbs!

It's been the best thing I've done. Last night I decided to "cheat" and have pizza since I finished the 30 days and was getting ready to start the primal blueprint. Big mistake! Feeling sick and bloated this am.
