I've gone back to using calorie king. AND being very pedantic and thorough. Only one day have i been over the calorie intake in the past 6 days. Going to start doing a day in advance for my meal planning (using my own menu not theirs) so that after brekky, lunch n tea is organised i know how much i have left to spend if i feel like a snack.

So far so good. Today i had weetbix for brekky, half a small avocado on grain bread, chicken, rice, broccolini, corn and carrots for tea. include my cuppas and i still have 280 calories to spend plus if i was on maintenance the calories i burned during my morning walk. BUT I am not eating more when i excercise

I'm here, sorry was out of town with work and finishing up my internal medicine clinical so have been CRAZY busy... have spent the whole weekend in bed or on the couch (or at the gym!). It's been SO nice not to have something due Monday that I need to work on, although I feel weird too like I should be doing something haha.

Today I hit 72kg (158lbs) which is 46kg (101 lbs) loss since I started last May 1st. I realized the other day I am kind of "there" in terms of weight loss.. I mean I could stay here, size 8-10 (or 12, depending on brand) and be ok with that. Of course I would like to lose more though, so will keep on plugging.

Next: would like to get under 71kg as that means BMI is <25 (normal weight!); under 70kg is a mental barrier; 67.7 would mean I've lost 50kg; 63 is my ultimate goal weight in my mind, just because I remember being that weight in year 8 at age 13 - but I'm not sure I can get that low, we'll see - I already have pointy hip bones.

I ended up getting really sick over the Easter break and I am still not back to being 100%. Some crazy virus that had me throwing up for two days and utterly exhausted in bed for another four. I have a crazy cough and cant exert myself too much (or laugh properly) or I end up in a coughing fit. I've basically been eating whatever I can find the energy to make, which hasnt been too great. Hopefully within another few days I'll be back to feeling like myself again.

Oh dear Lauren I hope you get better real soon. Eat lots of fresh fruit n veg. and drink plenty of water too. Maybe u need your electrolytes etc.. checked due to the throwing up? If they are out of whack you WILL feel exhausted.

Hi everyone! Sorry I havent posted, I am still doing the WW thing, lost another 1.7kg since the last time I posted. I havent exercised since Easter... I woke up ANZAC day, the day I had everyone coming over my house for the Nutrimetics thing and was sick with the flu. I had high temps, and was given an asthma inhaler because my cough was so bad. I still have the cough and as soon as I start moving, cant stop coughing which leads to either 1. dry reaching 2. light bladder leakage (LBL as I saw in the POISE commercial)... I was thinking I had whooping cough but it isnt. Anyway the nutrimetics thing started at 11am, and went to 11pm, my girlfriends were having so much fun they just kept staying with me shivering... I got up several times to walk them to the door, I put my son to bed, only offered left over lunch stuff for dinner which would have only fed two people, and finally when I said, does anyone mind if I get into my PJs did they all left. It was good to catch up with everyone but I was so exhausted!!!

I think I will go back to exercising today but only low impact. I am gonna jump on the exercise bike as soon as I press Post... See you!

Glad you're feeling better now, that sucks. Isn't it awful when people won't take a hint!

Had a big night last night - was meant to be "happy hour" after work but ended up having 5 or 6 mixed vodka drinks and stayed at the pub til midnight, oops. Was fun though, I rarely go out apart from work and school.

Had got off track last week a bit with weight loss; I realized I was thinking "oh, I lost so much weight, I can have some french vanilla creamer in my coffee", or "I can have one cookie"... I can't. Maybe some people can, but I gain weight immediately if I eat anything not on my diet plan! Anyhow back on track now, skim milk only in the coffee Have been going to the gym and jogging around the neighborhood, am at 71.8kg today.

Wow Vanessa I hope you get better really soon. I would not have been so subtle about asking them to leave lol. Its good to catch up but not at the expense of your health.

Gen I hear ya on the whole one cookie thing. I have been a bit slack with the calories and exercise this week that Dave has been up. Usually every time he is up for a week i gain a kilo lol. NOT that I eat bad, but a have a couple of drinks which I don't do on my own, and I don't exercise while he is here. As it is only one out of every 4 or 5 weeks i figure we spend all our time together. That is so going to change next time he is up. I will just go for my walk before he wakes int he morning lol.

BUT he was 150 kg 2 years ago and lost a ****eload of weight and down to 92 when i met him. he has moved to his mums 10 hours away and looks after his father but his mother feeds him TO well and so do I when he is here and his weight in 4 months has gone from 92 back up to 117kg. So we have made a pact to lose the extra weight together. He has a lot of knowledge on weight loss issues so will be good. The past few days we have been having salad wraps instead of a meat pie or something equally blah for lunch.

Anyhow i have to run, cleaning house madly before kids get home
