actually not 92 when i met him. 92 when we started going out. I knew him way back when he was a bigger guy. and that was meant to be s h i t load of weight. Tried saying S H I T E load so it wouldnt cut out the poop bit lol
I went and weighed in tonight - 100g loss... I have been really slack. At least I am not gaining. I havent tracked, exercise isnt happening... I think it is going to be hard in Winter to go out in the cold. This week I have to move my butt! Hope it is easier for you guys this week but I am struggling.
Getting so hungry! Ate 1491 cals today and could eat more, although that's boredom from needing to study and trying to avoid. Gotta get up and hit the treadmill.
Still struggling with the exercise but managed to lose 1.2kg this week. My PT group have been phoning me, but I still have the flu, visited the DR again yesterday and he gave the rest of the week off work. I had visited his practice 5 times in 5 weeks, I had seen other DRs in the office previous times, but my DR of 26 years, demanded that I rest, and lectured me that if I have had a rotten autumn generally that means an even worse winter and doesnt want that for me.
My principal's mum has been quite ill and is also having time off... she has taken extended leave. She was planning on going to Africa after July. So as of this week, she is off until October, as the assistant Principal, a lot of overseeing has fallen on my shoulders. I should be resting, but this morning I have made 4 phone calls to work, and I will be finishing off an request for extra support form for a student due in tomorrow... I dont want the relieving position (I think juggling parenting and work expectation difficult) so another Assistant Principal will be coming over next week to fulfil the role. Thank goodness!
Thanks Von. You are doing great, so close to normal range! They say even losing 10% of your body weight reduces health risks a lot so you're doing awesome.
69.0 - a heck of a lot easier to get outside when it's gorgeous and sunny and warm!! Especially now that I live right on the river where it's pretty to walk.
I seem to be retaining fluid. get pins n needles down both arms from the neck down when i lie down. Doc sent me for carpel tunnel tests and came back positive, but i think its only when i have fluid. No pain any other time. So guessing i retain fluid everywhere else to. Now if only i can shift that i might get some easier weight loss. these last few kilos are a struggle
You two are going great!!! How did you cope with plateaus? I have been hovering around 118 for 6 weeks? I am losing 100g, 200g, 100g gaining 100g, losing 200g... I am also not doing as much exercise as I was, what can I do to step it up! Finding it hard at the moment but not giving up!
Do you track your intake? That is the single best thing for me. I use my iphone and sparkpeople app. It is SO easy to underestimate your calorie intake and you just won't lose if you don't keep that deficit. I am finding it much harder to lose now that I am closer to my goal,so have to track strictly.
I am using the WW etools to track... I have been monitoring my eating as per the healthy guidelines and noticed I wasnt eating enough dairy... fixed that up. Keeping positive!
Vanessa, I have reached plateau then drove the weight up again, down a bit more plateau then up again. Its been a yoyo for years. Finally I can say i am smaller than the past 5 years. I gain badly when stressed and I have had a great deal of emotional stressors in my life. Finally learning to let go of most of them and the weight is slowly coming off.
