1 hr. cutting and removing branches from butterfly bush

Meals

roast beef sandwich

Got the butterfly bush pruned. It was huge. Tomorrow I'll prune the spirea bushes. Everything is so overgrown with all the rain.

Chris wants me to go with him and look at SUV's. He has a hard time finding one he can fit in comfortably because he's 6'5". I think we're looking at Jeeps tomorrow.

How was your party at work?

Have a great Wednesday!

Started off with a rainy morning, so I exercised inside. Then gave the dog a bath and cleaned house. We headed to Lowe's later to pick up a few more items to finish our laundry room. Then to a few stores to gather ingredients for Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. I plan on having a red bean and tomato soup, a vegetable casserole, apple pie, and chocolate chip-brownie cookies. They are all new recipes so I hope they work out.

The party at work turned out well. Plenty of left overs too. I had salad and chips/guacamole. So no major overeating on my part. Oh I did have a few cookies too.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

You were busy! I had a couple of hay customers and it was cold loading the hay. The wind is still howling!

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your day was great. Mine was nice. Just took it easy and cooked and stayed at home. It was a cold but beautiful day. Watched some videos and that was about it. Will probably go for a walk tomorrow too. Will have to bundle up though to stay warm. Hope you have a great Friday!

I was so bad, but everything was delicious!

I had a nice quiet day too. Watched the parades and national dog show, ate and ate then watched a football game. Going suv shopping with Chris tomorrow. He has trouble finding ones he can fit in being 6'5".

Have an awesome Friday!

Spent the afternoon trying to find a SUV Chris would fit in. We didn't have much success. The cars look big, but his knees hit the steering wheel. I guess he might go to a truck. We'll keep looking....

Have a great Saturday! I don't think I'm going to look at the scale tomorrow

Hope you find an SUV for Chris. The big SUV's that we looked at were the Nissan Armada, Ford Expedition or Excursion, Chevy Tahoe or Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Toyota Sequoia.

I don't think I will have very good results on the scale either this week. Too many cookies.

Hope you have a great Saturday!

My weigh-in showed down 1 lb today, but I am not sure if I believe it. Perhaps next week if it stays the same, then I will believe it. I feel just like my bunny signature looks. Good luck to you if you decide to brave the scale today.

Beautiful day today. Actually made it to 59 degrees, I think, so it was really nice out. The wind was cold, but it didn't blow by too much, just the early morning.

Any luck with your vehicle search today?

Hope you have a great Sunday!

You did good. I was up 1 lb. I thought it would be way more than that.

Went to Tractor Supply for shavings, then went out for pizza.

Chris found a couple of Suvs he could fit in. Ford Expedition, Hummer and a Cadillac Escalade. He's still looking.....

Have a blessed Sunday!

Raked the last of the leaves, then went and cut some greens for my outside pots. I won't go in the woods for the next 2 weeks with hunting season going on. Going to warm up this week. I hope I can get a drive or 2 in with Steel.

Have a great Monday!

I still need to rake and mow my yard one more time this year, just to get the grass a bit shorter and have it with an even appearance. I will probably do it later this week.

We have a lot of gunshots going on around here even on a Sunday. I spoke to a Park Ranger a few weeks ago and he informed there should be no hunting taking place on a Sunday. All I can think of is that perhaps maybe people can still hunt on their own farmland even on a Sunday. Still scary with the gunshots going off.

I was hoping to have time to dust off my bicycle and take it for a ride today, but that didn't happen. Perhaps later this week I will have a chance.

Hope you have a terrific Monday!

Long drive home yesterday, but so good to be home again. Not happy to have my migraine headache back though. Ugh. Oh well. Stood on the scale this morning and was scared by what I saw-Tilt! Guess I will just take it easy today. May put up a few Christmas decorations. Hope you have a good Thursday.

Hope your migraine goes away...

It was beautiful out yesterday. I got another drive in with Steel. I stayed close to home because of the hunters. We're posted, but sometimes they sneak on anyway. I had a great drive. Will probably be the last one for the year as I don't like cold weather. My fingers and toes get too cold.

I cut some spirea bushes back and guess I twinked my back. It's real sore. I do this every once in awhile.....this getting old is for the birds!

Chris put up our decorations today. I couldn't do much, so I supervised.

Glad you had a safe trip. Enjoy your Friday!

Didn't do too much today. My back was still hurting and I wanted to rest because my church is having a "Breakfast with Santa" tomorrow and I'm serving the pancakes. Then on Sunday, my miniature horse club is having our Christmas brunch party. Lots going on next week.

Have a great weekend!

Sorry to hear you hurt your back. It must be painful. Hope it gets better soon, and so you can enjoy serving pancakes.

My headache was gone this morning, then returned at noontime, so I slept for about an hour and felt better afterwards. Just did some light work to take it easy.

Yesterday we put up our Christmas tree and today we put up the outside lights and decorations.

Tomorrow I am going to a Christmas festival. Then in the evening our town has the Christmas parade. Should be a fun day.

Have a terrific Saturday.
