I've been rolling around down at 132 a couple weeks now, TOM aside. It's weird, all of a sudden I definitely see a difference, not just in the mirror or by comparing pictures, but just looking down at myself during the day. I can tell.

Yesterday, one of my coworkers called me "little pixie" and another agreed with her that it was a good nickname for me. As a woman who has been 5'7" since high school and always thought of herself, at best, as "sturdy", that sort of blew my mind. "Pixie" indeed!

hi everyone! can't believe halloween is almost here... it seems like more people are gearing up since it's on a friday this year. I've seen a lot more houses w/ decorations in my area.

my weight's been sluggish as all get out, but I haven't been pushing myself super hard, either. it finally went down after just yoyo-ing a pound all this time.

Default I want to say goodbye 130s

I'm new

I have been stuck in the 130s for the last year after gaining it very quickly. I would like to get to 120 by Christmas, but that might not be realistic. We'll see. Daily accountability. If anyone wants to PM me and vice versa, I'd love it.

Amethyst Jean- I think I have been in the 130's for about 4 years now. I look back on my posts here on 3FC and I get embarrassed b/c it seems like I am so motivated, yet it's all words and no action. I'm trying my best right now, but I do have a weakness for food. I LOVE food, and crave things daily. Anyway, welcome to 3FC!!! Nice to have you. This is a great support system online. I'm hoping to get into the 120's this month, but like I said, it's been an ongoing struggle. My body seems to like the 130's!

Hey kifli and Amethyst! Personally I'm still around but I moved over to maintenance. I'm trying to maintain around 130-132 but Sunday I had dipped down to 129.8... So I'm not technically a 130 right now I guess but ultimately I want to be a fit 130-135 rather than a skinny-minnie 120, so I'd be happy to hang out over here and encourage you guys.

Draconic Dreams - Yay!!! Congratulations on making into the 130's! Awesome job
Underanalysis - 129.8, yet trying to maintain....that's a nice place to be!

131.5 today. My goal was to finally get into the 120's this month...I am trying hard! I noticed no one is posting in the 120's forum either anymore. These threads use to be really active (I should know...lol...still stuck). I almost considered going into the 140's for some company...looks like a nice bunch of people.

Thanks! I just came from the 140's thread and they are nice!

138.8 today. Had a good laugh when I stepped on the scale and it came up with 135.6 first. Had to zero it out and got back to where I'm supposed to be!

You guys will be here too soon!

Yeah, I also noticed 120s is pretty dead... but we won't kick you out of here if you hit 129 and want to stay on an active thread Or maybe we could just make a new combined 120s and 130s thread. I think a lot of people make their goal weights in the 140s-160s so the people down on this end are all particularly motivated... or particularly short.

Oneten - Welcome to 3FC! I read your intro. I'm also 5'3 with a small frame, so anything from 102-110 is still within an acceptable range for me. I liked my weight when I was 112, so once I reach 117 I'll reassess my goals. People here are very supportive in general, which is great. I used to be a 'skinny minnie' naturally and I remember all of the comments and concerns I used to get when I was 102. I honestly couldn't gain weight and ate like a horse. A former fast metabolism. I obviously don't have that problem now I reached a high weight during graduate school...all of that stress and studying with short breaks, which entailed a walk to the fridge. I remember one finals week, in which I had a tub of ice -cream on my belly and just sat memorizing Anatomy while shoveling in spoonfuls :/ I never left my chair until it was gone. Later I gained massive weight during my second pregnancy. Anyway, it's nice to have you here! 110 is a good number

Underanalysis - Combining the 120's and 130's threads sounds like a brilliant idea Otherwise, I will just hang out here with you guys, if you don't kick me out! Also, great observation about typical goal weights in the 140-160's. I'm a shorty so that explains it!

Draconic- Great job...you're already @ 138....NICE! I always weigh like 3x if my scale goes down...just to make sure it's not acting up, LOL. 138 is still awesome!

Weighed-in @ 131 today. The bootcamp and abs video kicked my rear yesterday....my body had no choice but to lose some weight today

Posted a question about Thai food in the calorie counters thread but will ask it here too - does anyone have suggestions on low calorie options for Thai? Thanking you in advance!
Thai can be a tricky one as far as low calorie, but I'm a fan personally. My advice is to just follow the basic guidelines: avoid cream sauces and fried things, and choose chicken, seafood, or veggie options.

It's hard to limit calories in restaurant Thai so I'd say the most important thing to do is divide your portions right away when your food comes. Most Thai places I've been to, a serving of what I ordered is usually only 1/2 or 1/3 of what comes on the plate. So I would go ahead and make a little "moat" with my fork that shows how much I'm going to eat, stick to only that portion, and then get a doggy bag for the rest.

131.5 today. Ate within my 1200 calorie range, but included pizza last night, which always gets me.

Oneten- I love Thai, but avoid it while losing b/c I like the oily stuff (egg rolls, fried rice, pad see-ew, pad thai, and yellow curry with carrots/potatoes). You could eat a small portion like underanalysis suggested or you could order spring rolls (summer rolls) which are not the deep fried ones (they are wrapped in rice paper), (a vegetarian option), with peanut dipping sauce (maybe watch it here). (I think I have a parentheses problem).

Draconic - Lovin' your numbers!

I haven't been sleeping well (personal stress) which I think is stalling my weight loss. Yesterday I didn't exercise as a result, and today I woke up even more tired I'm going to try to hit the sack earlier and see if that improves things.

Oneten - Your numbers are incredible!!! Maybe I should follow your program GREAT START!!!! BTW, I love your profile pic...cute hair style!
