134.2 today! I love seeing the scale go down and being able to wear things I never thought I would fit into again.

Yes, the heat has been excruciating here, which is why I do my jogging on a treadmill. And the yoga I was doing was in a heated room, which does not really feel any different than it does outside. Crazy.

Anyway, I do not do well in the heat and I did not want any excuses for skipping my jog. I got the treadmill for Christmas last year. I am sure my husband is happy I am using it all the time. Tomorrow is Week 7, day 3 for me and I am jogging 25 minutes without stopping now.

Tonight we went to a restaurant we had never been to before, but was a great healthy choice. It is called Zoe's Kitchen and it is mostly Mediterranean food. We had Greek salads and kabobs. Very healthy and delicious.

Our daughter has a lot of medical problems and has a tube that she is fed through. It is very challenging trying to get her to eat more (and high calorie foods with lots of fat) while we try to slim down. It really messes with your head and makes meal times very difficult. Within the last month she has been really improving in her eating. Tonight it was such a joy because we sat down and she started eating things off her plate without us having to bribe and beg her. She ate a chicken wrap with cheese. Two years ago she only ate gold fish crackers (other than the formula through the tube).

Eating food together is so social, but for us it has been a struggle for five years. It has not really been enjoyable to eat as a family. Tonight was the first time I've felt like it was fun since we brought her home from the hospital!

Default Just left 140's

Hi all,
I just got into the 130's - am at 138.9 for the last couple days. I was kind of terrified to leave the "Goodbye to the 140's" board, sounds odd I know, but I didn't want to jinx myself. So I am hopping in here and just proclaiming that this is my new group and I won't go back up.

My husband and I have been doing the 17 Day Diet, (essentially a low-carb eating plan), and are 15 days into the first cycle. So far I have lost 5 pounds. He has lost 13 or 14. Darn men!

My mini-goal is 135, but my main goal is 130.

Welcome, CactusGirly!

I've been having a lot of ups and downs lately, but I'm still in the fight at 134.4 today

Ugh - back to 141! How did I gain 2 lbs in one day? I was sick yesterday and didn't eat much, just chicken soup... maybe the sodium? Anyway, I was very bummed when I got on that scale.

Yay and welcome to the 130's thread, CactusGirly!

I'm working a lot of hours and we've had a family member in the hospital so I haven't been home much. Too much eating out lately, blargh. Also too much indulgence in sweet autumn treats like caramel apples and cider.

The scale jumped up and my pants got tight this week, but I also just started TOM so I have a few more days before I'll know what the actual damage is. I've been reining it back in this week and am feeling less bloated today, but that could also be hormones so I really don't know. Nothing else to report. Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

I hope your family member is okay, LovesToTravel!

I am having a super busy week at work, but so far haven't fallen to the demons of fast food convenience. I'm down in the 133's now - 133.4 today.

Thanks, underanalysis. It's pretty serious, but they're home now and receiving good medical care so fingers crossed that the crisis is over. Congrats on your loss and not giving in to temptation! All of the fast food places have been whispering in my ear too. All I have to say is nope, nope, and NOPE.

My weight is back to normal after TOM passed and I've been making a point to keep my calories low this week after too many indulgences. Feeling much better.

Back down to 139... trying desperately to hold onto the 130's and not go back up

Good job on the willpower underanalysis! Busyness is one of my enemies, too easy to mindlessly snack.

Hi ppl. I've been s-l-o-w-l-y getting back to a healthier routine (after a long, uhhh, vacation). I noticed I did a lot better when I was more active on the boards, so today I decided jump back in and get accountable.

10/10: 139.75

I just went from general ole 'eating better' to moderate carbs and 'eating better' (lol).

Hey everyone,
I have been on this thread numerous times in the past, but unable to ever surpass it If I do, it will have been almost 5 years since I have been in the 120's. I had the flu this past week, so I'm waiting for the rebound appetite to kick in. Hopefully, I can pull through and hang on to my 132 or lower it.

Anyway, have a great day everyone!

Rebound weight happened and I'm now 134. Will 'kick it up a notch' tomorrow and try to start losing instead of gaining, again
