Had a NSV this morning of having my pants just fit better this morning. Don't know what it was, they just...fit...better.
Which is a good little triumph given my little argument with the scale. I'm finding that's how it goes. When I seem to get frustrated with my number, something non-scale related gives me a boost. I'll take it.
Today is busy busy. Banana and almonds for breakfast. Eating lunch out, need to make a good choice. I'm really craving deviled eggs so I think I'm going to make a couple for dinner. I'll probably have some broccoli slaw and tomatoes with that. Staying on plan today. Drinking lots o' water today.
Go get it, ladies!
Hey no problem!!!! I am nothing if not the un-official challenge cheerleader, I believe we can all make out goals if we support eachother. And yes, WATER, I don't just drink it, I hoard it (lol) I love water, so it's not bad for me at all...and just because I love it so much, here is a smiley of swimming in water:

Enjoy. LOL. You can do it girl and WTG on the NSV, those are the best victories to me.

This little guy is lots of fun, and seems to be pretty bright. Well I got on the scale the morning before last, 270.8, and yesterday morning, 270.8, and this morning 269.8, so things are happening YAY! Now I can quit worrying about the scale for a few days, I just had to make sure it moved!
WTG to girl on the lb down...and collies are soooo adorable. I've had dogs all my life, so I'm a dog enthusiast to the max!!!

Soooo I think my scale is lying to me. It told me I was at 189 this morning. I swear I got on it like 10 times to verify. If that is the case I'm down 4 pounds since the start of this challenge! Although... I'm off to newyork for a play this weekend as a special birthday/mothersday present. I've also been told if I try to "be a miser with calories" at dinner (supposedly they are taking me somewhere really nice) that they will beat me. :/ I'm scared i'm going to go up 5 pounds over the weekend. It's SO hard to calorie count and travel.
Hey 4 lbs down?!?!?! Girl, I haven't lost A pound yet, so you better take it!!!

And enjoy New York, just try to make good decisions...if you don't, you're on holiday, you can get back to the real world on Monday!!!

I would like to start calorie counting and lose weight and get into the 140's by end of this month.
Good luck to all! I'll check in here to see how everyone's doing going forward.
Sorry to sneak in here kinda late.

to the challenge...is that a Blythe doll in your avatar? I love her!!!

So while i'd like to go completely without cheating, at least im making progress. Maybe i was expecting/trying for too much too quick for my body to handle. Maybe its all psychological. Either way, if i just erase from my mind that change will happen overnight and embrace a more realistic idea that this is a lifestyle change that i need to put work into, i think i'll be better off. I appreciate the advice and i'm just going to keep working at it. I've decided that rather than trying to force a schedule change that isnt realistic for me, i'm just going to work out at night for now because that's what works for me. I'd rather work out at night than not work out at all!! Thanks again and feel free to use FKM anytime, it'll be funny to see it in other threads if it catches on! haha
Hey, thanks!!! I used the phrase yesterday on the phone with the mom, and not the whole phrase, just the abbreviation: FKM...and she was like, "what?" and I was like, "oh, a fat kid moment" and then she said, "oh, you had plenty of those as a child" and I was all

it was funny. Anyways, if working out at night fits you, then do it as long as you get that time in and realize that this is for life, after the weight loss comes the maintenance, that's what I keep telling myself. You can rock it girl, I know you can
As for me...magenta because I
in black up there.I am holding a lot of lactic acid right now (muscle soreness and weight gain), I can feel my muscles being sore, especially my hamstrings and thigh area, so I am taking a break on those for the day and focusing solely on abs/upper body with light cardio. I have bootcamp again on Friday and I was going to power walk on Saturday, but I might just pack it in for the weekend, IDK yet, but I do know that you ladies are all rocking it and if I just have a 1-lb loss this week, that's cool, I'm learning to be happy when it moves the right direction at all and I am starting to get more focused on gaining some muscle as well, so I'm expecting some gain. Off to
I'll TTYL ladies!!! WE CAN DO IT!!!!
