MRC works!
It's been a month since I signed up and I've lost 12.5 lbs. Which is amazing for me. I was on Weight Watchers for a year and only lost 13 lbs.
I'm also feeling a supressed appetite and less cravings. Not sure if it is the high protein and low carb or the supplements (MR-6, Corti-Trim, Enhancer, multi and EFA). Whatever it is I love it!

Congratulations on your weight loss success! It does work! I love it because on WW I would save my points up for ding dongs and other bad stuff for me!
Eating protein and low carb definitely helps keep us full! Keep up the great work! Fitting into smaller clothes is so worth it! So is all the renewed energy!

Default Clothing issue

I noticed yesterday that my jeans, which unfortunately still fit me well in the waist, are completely baggy and sack-like everywhere else! I guess you could say I'm an "apple" body shape. I tried on a different style of jeans in the same size I've been wearing and I couldn't get them zipped. So maybe I've lost my 20 inches from my ankles??? Does anyone else have this problem?

That sounds insane to me. I could open a concentrate and drink it from the pouch and then chanse it with 10 ounces of water and get to count all 10, but if I mix the concentrate in with the 10 ounces of water I don't count it. To bad, I am counting it until she explains it in a way that it makes sense to me.

I have a similar feeling about the water issue. It seems like all the water you consume should count, including water with Crystal Lite and water made into tea!

I totally went off plan today and am not looking forward to weigh in this week. Had pizza and dessert. Breakfast and lunch I was okay, but dinner was bad.
Any good advice to be back on track? My husband is coming home in 1 month, and I wanted to be down a size or two at least.

Angela B, just get right back on track. NO more pizza or desserts.. The beauty of this is you can always start over.. I doubt that too much damage was done.. It takes 3500 calories to make a pound of fat and I doubt you ate that. So jump back on, you will be fine.. Remember to drink LOTS of water.. That will help alot..

Cheers!

Ronnie

I read recently in a book about weight-loss which states something like this....take each meal as a brick to add to and build your wall for successful weight loss...it is our choice to eat each meal on program to build that wall faster...

I'm going to get back to starting the week over. I've been doing better at getting back on track so now I just have to stay on track. I'm going to make this week a good one. When I weighed in last week I was only .5 from 40 so I want to get a good start towards that 50!

Well..... I am newbie and went this morning for my consultation. I have been reading this thread for the past week and am anxious to jump on the 'losing' band wagon with all of you. I will keep you posted how I am doing. I just got back from grocery shopping and am ready to go! I do think the one thing I will miss most will be my nightly glass of wine..... I have a 4yr and a 5 yr old and look so forward to that glass at the end of the day. I'll have to think of a new way to *unwind*.

Welcome wendinnc, it's going to be over before you know it! As for options for unwinding, try finding something that's not a food or drink like reading, taking a bath, watching your favorite tv show or a fun new magazine subscription. You never know though, you might not miss the wine at all.

For me, it was more about the ritual than the food/drink. IE, morning cup of coffee was about the ritual, so start thinking about a new ritual.

Default One night off equaled one pound!

I had a great time Saturday night at a catered dinner. Ate lots of veggies and also a piece of dessert cake. So at WI today I'm up a pound! By tomorrow I guess I'll be back in "burn" mode.
Has anyone ever taken Ally after going off track during a single meal? I still have some from pre-MRC days, and I'm not planning on making a habit of these side tracks, but I am wondering if that would mitigate some of the fat...
