In response to the water question, you really do start to almost crave water.. At least this was the case for me.. I was never a water drinker, in fact I hated it. Now as soon as I get to work I fill up a huge drinking bottle and keep it with me all night and continue to refill it as many times as I can in 8 hours.. Eventually you do stop making all those annoying bathroom trips.. hang in there it does get better!
I agree with Ronnie! I am to the point now.. 60 days in that I crave water, and know when I haven't had enough. I even was snoring one night and in my dream I was asking a stranger for a drink of water. I woke up and went right to the kitchen and got water. Its so weird to have gone so many years drinking soda to be able to switch overnight! I am soda free since March 8th!!! I love how the bathroom breaks have died down too! I never thought it would!
I agree Ronnie, I feel it when I don't drink enough water. However, I have to have lemon in it. Our water here in Tampa is so heavy it's bitter.
Hi Jenkatt, you might want to try a brita filter. I keep the pitcher in my fridge and it's the only water I like to drink. Straight from the tap is rough here too.
I have a brita filter at home and it does make the water nice at home. At work, I'm stuck. Even with the water being "filtered" it's harsh, so I add True Lemon or lemon slices. But I drink so much of the water with lemon at work that anywhere else I want it the same.
Pretty much however I can get it, I'll take it, but I definitely prefer it with lemon!
It's great to read in here to see the accomplishments that we all have, and the not-so-good weeks that we have too. Makes me feel like I am not alone in this! After my good loss earlier in the week, i stayed the same on Friday. Hoping for something good on Monday.
I've had a frustrating few days trying to stay OP. One of my friends gradated from law school and we had a party for her where they served cheesecake and everyone in the room had a piece so I indulged. Then tonight was my mom's birthday -- Cake. How do you all handle these situations in a way that doesn't make you stand out like a sore thumb and also doesn't hurt the feelings of the honoree???

I'm still pretty new to plan (just finished 1 month), so I'm still in honeymoon stage (LOL), but if someone asks, I'm just honest and say I'm on a restrictive diet for health reasons. These days, everyone seems to have some sort of dietary restriction and people don't think twice about it. Usually, people don't even notice when I'm not eating something b/c they're more concerned about what they're doing and eating. We just assume our eating is the center of everyone's thoughts because it's the center of OUR thoughts. So, just say no thanks! There will always be cheesecake in the world that I can say "yes" to if it's in my plan or in my budget. Saying "no" today doesn't mean I will never have it; I just didn't get pressured into making an impulse decision (which got me overweight in the first place).
I re-enrolled on 4/19 then took a month off, because I was getting burned out.
I lost my 70 pounds in 24 weeks but I re-enrolled because I want to get down to 150lbs. That's my personal goal not MRC's.
I went to the center this morning and lost 3 1/2 lbs. And now I am back on track and in the right mindframe. I WILL get to my goal of 150lbs and I WILL get to Onderland by the end of this month.

Man I hate Portland water.. They claim it is the best water but I think not.. I buy water or filter it.. Our resevoirs are out in the open and I don't wanna know what might be finding it's way in there.. eeek!
