Ky- thanks but it was actually 12 Weeks 1 day. They're making me wait til 22 1/2 weeks to find out the gender. Something about positioning of baby. I'm Mad! haa. We were supposed to find out right before xmas, but now we have to wait til after new years. I want a girl sooo bad. I'm hoping the "wives tales" and the gender prediction test turn out right and I have a girl. I hear boys are easier to raise. Do you plan on more kids after him?

My boys have been harder then my little girl but I hear she will give me the most trouble in her teen years. Nope this little guy was a surprise for us we where suppose to be done at 3 but God had other plans its a great surprise thou. Wow 22 weeks why so long? I was 20 weeks with my first 2, but with my 3rd I went in for US at 18 weeks she was stubborn wouldnt show her good so I paid for a gender scan at 22 weeks she still hid her goods went back for them to retry at 24 weeks and thats when we found out it was a girl. This little boy wasnt shy at all showed his goods right at the begining of US. Is this your first?

It'll be my first birth. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks last October. I have no idea. She just said something about positioning being farther back so it gives extra time for position to spread out. They could do 21 weeks but it'll be the week of xmas and she's only in one day and booked up already. Baby was all curled up at this Ultrasound. Gonna be just like me! With it's daddy's big ol head lol My doctor only does two ultrasounds but I think i'll get a third one because of the "late" miscarriage. Anything past first trimester my doctor considers late. I'm still nervous as **** but glad to see this one growing properly and I can feel my uterus growing. If this baby is anything like us, it won't be modest at all LOL

I finally made my first appointment, which will be on the 15th. I have the second appt made as well - the one with the pelvic exam, etc. (ugh!). I'd skip that one if I could.

Lovely u/s pic, Keller! My OB's practice doesn't generally do an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks, unless there's some concerns. for a girl for you!

Ky, congrats on the boy! 3 boys and a girl is what one of my sisters has - though I think for her, the 6yo girl is the hardest to manage (just like my sister was at that age ).

PPW - 210 (home scale)
5 wks - 212 (h.s.)
6 wks - 215 (h.s.)
7 wks - 218 (h.s.)

I've already gained almost a third of the 27 lbs to which I'm trying to limit my pregnancy gain (based on how much weight I'd lost by my 6-wk postpartum check-up with my first two). The problem is that I start feeling queasy about an hour or so after I've last eaten, so I keep eating to feel better - and, naturally, most of what I feel like eating is junk food.

I'm not a big fan of eating frequent, small meals, but since that seems to be what I'm going to need to do for now, I'm working on a list of healthy (yet convenient) small meals/snacks that I can build my eating around.

Thank you 2sw33t. I had been having massive bleeding for weeks and it was very stressful. I am no longer pregnant, lost the baby at 9 weeks. Thanks for your support. Hope to see you girls again soon.
