  • Fun! I have 2 boys myself, but I think little girls are such fun, you'll have the ride of your life!
  • I'm having a girl this time too! I have one 6-year old boy now. I'm going to have to see what my starting weight was so I can post on here.

  • At my first Dr's visit, the NP told me that I should limit my weight gain to 10 pounds and it would even be ok if I didn't gain any weight at all. So, I know the no weight gain at all is never going to happen, so I'll try to limit my weight gain.

  • Hi! Can I jump in with you guys? I just found out I am pregnant a few days ago. So far I've just been losing because I have no appetite at all.

    5 weeks- 199

I gained 65 lbs with DD so I'm really, really hoping that that doesn't happen this time around especially since I started 28lbs heavier (although now it's just 24lbs but still...).

Trying to work on staying under 170 until I'm at least 20+ weeks, I tend to gain the bulk of my weight 30 weeks+
  • Well, I weighed-in at the dr's office yesterday...I'm at 244...which means I've gained only 6 lbs. for my whole pregnancy so far! I was 238 when I first weighed in a the dr's office.

I wonīt be able to post for a little while because weīre visiting the in-laws and they donīt have scale. I was checking my pregnancy stats and I gained 10lbs in the first 11 weeks 4 days. So far Iīve just lost but I keep thinking the trend will stop and Iīll wake up the next morning 10lbs heavier. Then again this time Iīm focusing on eating healthy (not limiting food, just making good choices) where last time I KNOW I ate way too much chocolate!!
  • emi- congrats! Thatīs exciting. I have a feeling itīs a boy this time around but I still have a long way to go.

sgregg- are you going to find out the gender too?
  • Running...I'm having a girl.

    7 weeks- 198 (new scale)

We finally got a scale today so I weighed in this afternoon just to make sure I hadn't gained. DH had thought I gained 10lbs this week!!!!! It turns out that I haven't gained anything but my belly just feels like sticking out more for some reason. It's been really hard, though, because morning sickness has hit me hard and I have to snack all the time (and many times I don't have healthy options since we're staying with the in-laws and we don't always have time to go to the store after we get home from work).

Welcome Deltawifey, congrats! I'm also trying not to gain as much as my previous pregnancy. With DD I gained 65lbs and I'm really, really trying to avoid that! Especially since I'm starting 25lbs heavier. I actually looked at my pregnancy last time around and I was 20 weeks along when I was at my current weight.
