Thank you! I kept it for years, but I must've thrown it away during one of my paperwork purges. I know the gist of the diet since I was on it like 8-9 months, just needed a refresher.

Let me know how your weigh in & discussions went with your consultant. Maybe there are other ways so you are not hungry. For me it makes a big difference if I do not keep to taking the pills 30 min before a meal. Maybe you can take them more often with a HNS in the afternoon? Just an idea.

I am going to ask to see the meat menu, but I like my little bit of bread and fruit each day.

I broke the barrier - 179.5. Last time I was this weight is about 4 years ago. Now I am more motivated again. I told the MRC owner how uncomfortable the other consultant made me feel. I forgot to mention that this consultant took my weight twice, the second she lifted my pants up and told me I would weigh less without pants .... crazy. I make sure I do not be with her anymore.

I stayed the same. I am ok with that because I splurged this past weekend. I have so far talked to 2 consultants about my hunger they both just recommended more supplements meaning more money from my pocket. I am beyond frustrated (as is my husband ) with how they just seem to try to sell me stuff when I just want the plan to work. I am sorry but I think the problem I am having is due the program being too low calorie and not a need for more supplements. I have spent over $1400 over the past 9 weeks. I can't wait for my 20 weeks to be done, but I am going to stick it out until my time is up. After my 20 weeks I will count weight watchers points for free until I get to my goal.

its too bad you have a bad MRC center, i've been going to my MRC center for over three years and i've seen all the counselors and they never once pushed supplements, I only did the HNS's twice a day and took the multivitamin and the EFA's but that was my choice not theirs. They only suggest certain supplements but have not once ever pushed them. I did the program the first time with only those three items and lost 32 lbs and 29 inches. So it can be done! Yes its low calories while on the blue, yellow and green menu but when you hit pre-maintenance you start to add back more each week, this is where you find your trigger foods.

You would be surprised at the women that go to my Weight center that weigh in their under garments, they have doors that close! I personally would wear the same thing everytime i would weigh in which was a light weight pair of shorts and a tank top. Even in the winter i would take them and change in the bathroom before i weighed in. Now that i'm maintaining doing atkins i weigh myself in the morning at home and take a picture of my weight and my counselor records is because i would always weight 1-1 1/2 lbs heigher at the center.

I guess I do not care if I am 1 or 2 pounds heavier when I step onto the scale, I wear my jeans. I try to stick to jeans & T-shirt each time I go in to weigh.
I do not weigh myself at home at all, I do not want to get confused or upset that I weigh more at 10 am then I did at 6 am. For now I am stick to my center.

My center has a doctor and a nutritionist you can talk to or let's say they are available for questions. I would ask to speak to them. At times I eat more nuts or more protein then the recommended amount and I am still losing weight. At times I do drink one of the meal replacement drinks, the calorie intake is then only around 250. I try to switch my food around, not always the same breakfast & dinners.

It must be so frustrating that your center is not really helping right now. I will ask my consultant what they recommend when someone gets stuck on the scale. But you have to remember that you lost a lot of inches.
Stick with it, post when you need to vent.

My scale at the center is 1-1.5 pounds lighter than my home scale! It makes me happy.

I think my center is trying to help. The people are nice, but it is just too low calorie. They said "that is just how the program is designed" when I questioned it. I think they are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Unfortunately for them they have a client who will not blindly follow and not ask questions when they are told to do something unhealthy. They are told to sell stuff , and they try to sell me stuff to make me not hungry. I'm doing the best I can, but I am starting to make tweaks on my own.

I do not know how your center advertises but here in my region they have a consulting doctor who works with you to create menu when you have problems. I will ask tomorrow morning anyway because on days where I go out to eat (at least 2-3 a week for business) I like to eat more carbs, so let see what they can recommend.

I am under so much stress at my job for the last 10 days that it feels I am starving now. I am eating, a few more carbs yesterday but I feel I am constantly hungry. I am ready to quit my job if this stress does not let down. I do know it is my body's way to compensate for the stress. I do not eat less or more than the weeks before, the stress seems to make me feel hungry, even an hour after I had lunch or dinner.

I totally get the job stress. I am a therapist at a private counseling agency. I think that is part of my problem too. I have a ton of responsibility plus the weight of other people's problems that I hear all day.

To be honest I am really struggling this week. I am back to binge eating which I have no done since I started the program until this week. I have binged twice this week. Something has to give, and I am not sure what I need to do or change. I do feel though that I am not going to get much help from my center. They would probably just tell me that I need to buy more corti-trim or something. That is not the answer to my problems.

I work for a non-profit company but all is about meeting your deadlines and goals with a very strained budget. My stress level is going down because I came to terms with it idea 'I cannot please everybody" - I stayed true to myself. If someone needs to blame me for their problems it is their part. I took the high road, still hurts being ignored now even on a private level.

I hope you are doing well, I send you a pm.

This forum is not as active as it was when I was on here last year.. My name is Patzi... I am on maintenance and have gained 7 pounds.. Was on Atkins, but it did not work, so back to the MRC plan.

Are they still using the Metabolic More ?

Hi pati, haven't heard from you in a long time! They have the Metabolic More plan but have come out since then with a new plan called Meat lovers and it's just like atkins.
