I only had 2 cheats so far, I might eat some more veggies or a couple more nuts because I forgot to weight it.
This week I am still on vacation and my weigh in is only on Tuesday, let's see how well I do with healthier choices supposed to sticking to the diet. Breakfast, lunch and snacks (drinks) are fine. At the dinner table is my challenge, sitting in a beautiful surrounding beachfront and I am munching away on salad ..... last night I chose salad and mussels with some bread to soak up the sauce. I ordered everything from the appetizer menu, at least the portions are smaller.
This diet sounds good to me. I have problems, major sticking to no carbs This diet seems to allow a little and fruit. Appox how much does this cost? Thank you

The amount it will cost is based upon how much weight you have to lose and what supplements you take.

It sounds like progress to me!! I had a decent Easter weekend. I did treat myself but got right back on track. It was just one bad meal as opposed to a bad weekend which is improvement. I am back home now and on plan but hungry. I think I'm going to start my period in a week or so, so that is likely why my hunger has been more noticeable. I never eat enough to feel full but I am noticeably hungry today.
@ classykaren
the cost is depending on which program you chose, how much weight to lose. Check out their website or contact a MRC center, I asked how much everything will cost, if they selling more stuff once I signed up. Their answer was only if I want to buy more supplemental pills. So far nothing was really pushed on me.
@ amanda
I took the scary step onto the scale today and I stayed the same. YEAH!!!!
I stuck to the diet during breakfast, lunch and snacks. For dinner I made wise choices but I had some more bread, veggies and meat. I did not drink any alcohol so, it would have been nice, sipping a glass of wine at the beach.
Great for you Amanda to get back the very next day, it is a major improvement to make changes to our routine.

Staying the same after vacation is awesome!! I hope you had a great trip.
I'm feeling so much better being back on program. This way of eating just makes me feel good. I have pretty good energy today. the hunger was way better too. I think it was partly just my body adjusting after the traveling and bad meal.
I am never hungry on this diet, I actually have problems eating and drinking everything during the morning. In the afternoon I need the protein drink to make it to dinner.
Yes, I am happy to not have gained weight, most dinners were definitely more than the diet calls for. Most food tasted very salty to me, so I am drinking lemon water right now to get rid of the access salt.
Hello all! I am finally starting at MRC tomorrow. Please wish me luck! I really am motivated, and need this to help me be accountable. Any good tips you can share?

What color menu are you on? I'm on the green menu. It is about 900 calories per day and less than 70g of carbs typically. I'm glad you are not hungry. Today the hunger has not been terrible for me. I do find I also need the afternoon hns.
Mtnsun- I can't wait for you to get started. You will be so glad you did. I might complain about the hunger, but I feel I am learning skills I can continue to use after my time is up on the program. This is really a lifestyle change for me. I don't ever intend to go back to the way I ate before.
The scale has moved down about a pound. I hope it will move down another pound by weigh in Friday. If not I will be so happy to get the one pound loss after traveling this weekend.

I just noticed that you asked for tips...
1. Follow the program
2. Drink way more water than they recommend
3. Bite the bullet and do max hns. It is helpful in making you feel full.
4. Find a consultant you trust and enjoy talking to
5. Post here often!
I am on the green menu but as I said sometimes I eat a little more salad/veggies than the portion allows. I did not count the calories yet, but 900 seems low. When I run a lot and get dizzy during the morning, I am allowed an extra HNS as per my consultant. it only happened twice.
I am worried about maintenance too, but I trust the system that my consultant will help me to keep the weight off. That is why I need the program for my accountability and advice on maintenance. One step at the time, losing the pounds is first. So far, I am very happy with my results, being in my fifties and losing the weight fairly fast is encouraging for me.
My first mini goal is already next week, my daughter receives an award. I fit into the dress I wanted to wear already. Yeah!!! I actually can shop in my own closet.
