Ok first day on the beach and I'm sunburned where the sun usually doesn't shine. Lol. Mid 80s. I need to get a new bathing suit.last years suit and my smaller "puppies" about fell out. Glad we don't know anyone here.

Walked the three dogs on the beach and around the campground then rode our bikes. Salad and lean pork ribs last night. Grilled tuna and salad tonight. Had two vanilla bean protein shakes w frozen raspberries today so far. Good thing about big dogs they always need to be walked and played with and are the best workout partners ever. No excuses. No whining and best of all when I'm walking in the am. No talking. Haha Well I talk to them and they are great listeners and just think everything I say is so smart and funny. Lol again No oversleeping. My baBy boy (now 100 lbs) likes to pull the covers off and if I roll over he jumps in the bed and pins me down till I get up. Good way to motivate me to get moving! They did flip me last week chasing a cat so started walking them separate which means double walk!
Re the replacement bars. They have prevented me so many times from making bad choices on the road and on vacation!
Camaswa. Size 10 jeans. Woo hoo! I'll have to try Levi's again. I'm curvy but pants are always too big in the waist which is why those with spandex work better for me. I did fit into an old pair which were men's jeans Levi's. Maybe 34's? Ok time for another bike ride. My DH is trying to get out of cooking and looking at calabash all u can eat seafood joints. Hey does slapping him silly count as an activity? We r at myrtle beach which promotrs buffets. Oh do want to say much easier to get out of hammock this year without that excess weight I was carrying around last year

I weighed in today and I am down 2 1/2 pounds since Wednesday. I'm still on Pre-conditioning. My program starts next Thursday.

MKROYER ~ I too love Colorado. My husband and I are moving to Hawaii to help start a bible college there on the island of Kauai. I have a daughter that lives here in Colorado Springs near me so luckily I will be able to visit here often.

A big congrats to everyone on their weight losses. This program is fantastic! I wish I had learned about it years ago.

its Monday, and I can eat solid food again...sort of. My teeth have almost stopped hurting so I was able to get something other than a protien drink down since Saturday morning. Cottage cheese! Ok, it is only semi solid but right now I consider that a win. Now I am taking more nyquil and going back to bed. I think I managed to get a cold or something along with this sinus issue, so although my face is not hurting as much, I can't stop coughing and sneezing. Ahhh, spring in the Ozarks. I dread seeing what the scales look like when I make it back in.

Hope everyone else has a good start to the week, maybe if I stay sick I can pawn off the pizza party planning on someone else. It would serve them right.

it's been a bit since I have posted here.. just been going along ...not losing much in the way of pounds but I have been losing inches -- which is great -don't get me wrong...but it seems like the scale drives the overall feeling of success. I know I have been making much better choices than I would have made a year ago or even six months ago so that is a HUGE plus regardless of the number. I feel better have more energy, do more and up in the muscle mass percentage so I know that the program is working... just come on and budge scale!

Fatburningmama, have you had them do your bodyfat lately? Honestly, that's the number that really counts. You want your ratio of fat to lean to change - I know we are all into the scale, but lost inches are actuallly BETTER. Don't sweat this!

I weighed in this morning and I've lost 1 1/2 pounds since Saturday. I'm scheduled to be off pre-conditioning this Thursday. I am so excited to have my program start! ;0)

Default Why no Diet Soda?

Hi All,
Just started MRC. Is there a reason the diet nixes diet soda? I will avoid it- but it will be easier if I know why I'm abandoning my diet root beers

It should only limit it. The sodium in most soda is extremely high and that causes water retention. Both the menus I've been on only limited it to a certain amount a day and for the life of me I can't remember for certain what it was. I've just come across a diet with no sodium and the only other thing it has is 1 g carb in the whole can. Double check your menu to see if it completely cuts it out.

Rikki,

Depending on what plan you are on it should only be out for the first few weeks, after that I think you can have 16oz a day or so. If you can fit it in with all the water
