Hi Raven, Welcome!! You're off to a Great start and I'm glad you decided to join in. You, Brandy & I are at the same current weight, with similar goals! I bet you will for sure make the 130's by the end of August.

As for me.....WI this morning....UP 1.5. My consultant is convinced that it's water. My period finally started with a vengence about 2 weeks late!!
I talked to her about Medi-Quick, but I think I'll wait to WI on Tuesday and see how I'm doing. She really doesn't feel that I'm stuck. My average is still 3 lbs per week, but it feels like it's really slowed down to me.
Guess I'm just bummed knowing I'm not going to reach my short-term goal for my birthday next week.

JenB72 08-06-2011 01:49 PM

Hey, everyone! Take a day off...miss a lot!!!!! Welcome to all our newbies. So glad to see you all here. The more the merrier, plus more support to go around. ;)

Well, I've done 5 days of Meta-Quick and this morning, I'm down to 160.8! Did I mention I'm also PMSing? It pays to read food labels. It's amazing where sodium hides. Anyway, I won't be able to weigh in on Monday because I've got an overnight business trip I have to go on. I've planned for it as much as I can plan-wise, but there will be a meal that is out of my control. We'll see what happens. I'll weigh in again next Thursday.

Hope everyone has a great, ON PLAN, weekend! :D

Rzrbackcandi 08-06-2011 09:29 PM

Hey everyone.

I didn't post yesterday because I was a little bummed. I went for WI and was up 1lb. I was a little shocked and had no idea what happened between Tuesday to Friday. The consultant did a body comp on me to check everything out and my numbers were pretty much the same from July 22nd. But the 4lbs I had lost since then was pure fat.. which is awesome.

This morning I went back to the center because we had PiYo class. Before class, I got on the scale and I was down 3lbs from yesterday. Go figure!? :?: So after class, I signd back in to get a quick WI, so it was noted in my file. So that's a 4lb loss this week! I'm SO happy! :D

@little edie - :congrat: on hitting goal! Happy for you! And mom is doing well. She still has the cast on the left foot but gets to take that off on Tuesday, take Xrays to overnight them down to FL and see what happens after that. I'm hoping they tell her to put a boot on and everything is healed up.

@Jen - YAH! for losing! And yes, reading the labels is HUGE. My center is having another "How to read Nutritional Labels" class this week. I'm planning on going to get a refresher.

@Raven - Welcome! Glad you joined us. And no need to apologize for being "winded". We all get that way sometimes.

Congrats to all the losers! Glad we are all hear to support each other. Hope everyone is having a great weekened.

Tamikl 08-06-2011 09:32 PM

Hi there! Wow, I am so happy to see that there are others on a similar journey as myself! All of the support, the better!

Reading over many of your personal entries motivates me so much. I look forward to participating in the discussions! I have been with MRC since May 2011. I have lost 21lbs! I am very happy, but do get discouraged sometimes. Seems I hit plateus every other week! LOL

ConnieInColorado 08-06-2011 11:07 PM

Hey Tamikl, Welcome! 21 lbs. is Awesome!! I have one particular consultant who is really trying to teach me not to freak out about the plateus; that it is just a natural progression for us women. Where in CO are you?!

Jen ~ You're PMSing and you LOST?! Way Cool. So, what was the total loss in 5 days on MQ? Still wondering if I should do it Tuesday-Friday.

brandy8188 08-07-2011 02:42 PM

Had a charity event for Boys and Girls Aid and went off program for the night. I tried to make good choices, but there really weren't any. Took the fat/carb blocker and stayed away from alcohol. But did have a small square of cheesecake. It was so good. Back on program today. I see many people talking about MetaQuick. What is that? Thanks

luvs2read79 08-07-2011 06:50 PM

Comments, congrats, and my perspectives...

Coarkkayaker – how’s it going? Have you been on vacation? If not, do you have your plan in place for being successful?

Bigdog – from what I understand, the HNS drinks are the cornerstone of the program. I would purchase those, but you can also get them elsewhere – online namely. I purchased my multivitamin and flaxseed oil from Sams Club.

Little_edie – CONGRATS on reaching your goal!!! Awesome job!!! I’m sure your story is about perseverance. Sorry about all of the hoops you went through for the job and the prospect didn’t pan out.

Goneforgood1128 – congrats on your 1.5 lb loss and inching (literally and figuratively) closer to stabilization!

Patzi – I hope you have safe travels!

Stone3973 – welcome to the group. Congrats on your success thus far and good luck in making your decision whether to renew or try to reach goal on your own. The thing about re-enrolling is that you’ll get help with stabilization and maintenance. With me, I know how to lose weight and I know how to gain weight, but I’m terrible at maintaining. In the past, it’s been okay, time to go back to my old habits.

Junie04 – congrats on your loss! You are that much closer to your goal!

Brandy8188 – congrats on your loss! I think since this IS a lifestyle program, you made good decisions. Though we shouldn’t associate food with good times, the fair only comes once a year here, so it is a time to get some special treats. All things in moderation. And getting back on program as soon as possible is key.

LetHerOut – congrats on your 2 lb loss!

RaRaF – congrats on your .5 lb loss! If that were me and I went off program, I’d gain 5 or 10 lbs…LOL! But you made better choices because you are making lifestyle changes.

FluffyinFlorida – congrats on your 5 lb loss! Doesn’t it feel good to get on the scale and see the numbers going down?

Raven59 – welcome to the current group! You have the tools to be successful on the program and I wish you much luck in reaching goal again and maintaining your loss this time. It’s a slippery slope, believe me, I know firsthand.

ConnieInColorado – sorry about your water weight gain. I had similar issues last month…ugh, so not looking forward to it this month!

JenB72 – I’m so happy that the switch up in eating is working for you! I hope you have a safe and productive trip!

Candi – congrats on your loss! I wish my center had exercise classes…alas they don’t so I’ll continue to walk and use my videos at home.

Tamikl – welcome to the board and congrats on your weight loss success thus far!

What's going on with me?

I’m considering buying the carb and fat blocker. Will have to look at my price list and determine if it is worth it. It doesn’t seem as if I have many instances when I need them, but it has come up twice during my time on program and I’ve worried, so I’d rather be safe than sorry.

So…I’m really trying to make this a lifestyle change and not just another diet. During the summer, I enrolled my daughter in swim classes, but I don’t swim. I took classes 14 or 15 years ago, but never really practiced the techniques, etc. So, in order for her to enjoy the water and continue to master the techniques, her teacher suggested that we make it a part of our lives, especially with them being so young. So, I re-enrolled in swim classes. My first one was this past Thursday. I was terrified, but will continue to go back for the sake of being more active and really changing my lifestyle. My daughter’s health and quality of life is one of the main reasons I am giving this program an earnest try. I do not want her to see me living a sedentary, unhealthy lifestyle and think it’s okay. It’s bad for your health and society is not nice to overweight people.

I've been doing okay being back at work. Subway turkey salads are pretty much my lunch staples. I am surprised at how I can enjoy a salad without it swimming in salad dressing - just oil and vinegar. Tomorrow our principal is supplying breakfast and I intend to eat so that I can socialize with everyone, but make the best choices possible.

I went to weigh-in on Friday and I lost 1.5 lbs so considering that I gained .5 on Tuesday, I'm down a pound for the week. I have mixed feelings about that. For the past two weeks, I've lost 1 lb. I'll think that I'm doing an awesome job and can't help but feel let down when the scale doesn't show the results I think it should.

The highlight of my week is that I have a home scale and I can finally weigh myself on it again!!!! Whoo hOO!!!!!

victorialynn2 08-07-2011 08:21 PM

luvs2read, are you loosing inches even though you are not loosing a lot of pounds? You might want to track that so you can see results even when the scale isn't cooperating. Also congrats on your determination to be a good role model for your daughter! You will both benefit from that decision.

I am planning a trip for a couple days and have made a plan. The hotel has breakfast, so I can have eggs and 1/2 piece of toast or oatmeal. I'm bringing meal bars for lunch just in case. For dinner, we are brining salad and steak to grill on our small grill at a park, and we will also bring veggies and fruits and of course lots of water. We will be outdoors hiking and walking around town in Sisters, Oregon. It's very beautiful there and the fresh air will do us some good!

I hope you all have a great OP week!

joanie830 08-07-2011 09:02 PM

Well, I'm going to take the plunge and get myself back on track tomorrow. I did MRC last year and lost about 40 pounds, but then I had my gall bladder out in October, some stressful things happen around Christmas and then I just haven't been able to get back on track so I've gained back everything plus more. I'm not going to rejoin my center because I'm short on funds, but I've got all of my documentation so I'm going to start pre-conditioning tomorrow to get off the caffeine and sweets. I think I'm finally ready to get off my butt and get moving again.

stone3973 08-07-2011 09:11 PM

Luvs2read...Congrats on retaking swimming lessons...you will do great. Yes it is important to encourage your daughter to be active. My daughter is 17 and really does not like to participate in any sport. So we r fighting the weight battle together. It's strange how I can help her and give advice but I don't practice what I dish out. I even helped by son who is 18 to drop 50 pounds 6 months ago. So I am ready to finish this battle. Thanks for your advice about maintaining. I know what you mean about losing and then not knowing how to maintain.

Tamikl 08-07-2011 09:44 PM

Oh my goodness! There are so many of you!! I am so happy to have found this! I can't figure out how to put a weight tracker on my entries, though. help?

I live in Canon City, CO...so I am roughly an hour southwest of Colorado Springs. I mostly go to the Pueblo MRC office, and love my coach there! In fact, I see her tomorrow, and must admit feeling a bit nervous. When I left her last week, we both knew I would be going on a couple day getaway with my family. I did not make good choices for basically 2 days in a row, and I think it is gonna show on the scale. I have a tendency to be extra hard on myself....which doesn't always help, but at times it is just plain hard. Any program takes big time discipline....including this one! I quit smoking almost two years ago, I can honestly say that losing weight and staying on track every day is harder for me. Maybe just because that is the "moment" I am in...lol...cause I do recall quitting nicotene was no cake walk!

Anyway, so glad to have all of you doing this with me!! Thanks for the warm welcome to your discussions :)

Tami

Goneforgood1128 08-07-2011 10:15 PM

Well, tomorrow is my first official day back to school. The luncheons and snacks I faced at the end of the year will return! In fact, tomorrow, we are being provided breakfast AND lunch! I'll join everyone for the socializing, but will bring my own food! So, I've spent the last hour and a half making a big batch of MRC chicken salad (enough for 3 days' lunches) and measuring it into daily portions, measuring out spinach, cucumbers and blueberries for my lunch salad each day, and making a cheesecake to eat for breakfast for the next four days. I think I'm ready to face whatever comes my way!! I'm too close now to blow it!

Fluffy in Florida 08-07-2011 10:18 PM

Luvs2read yes it was awesome seeing that I lost so much, especially on pre-conditioning. I guess I expected maybe one or two pounds so I am stocked about this.

Got my new menu and I'm a little worried. It actually is more food that I eat normally. I don't start until tomorrow but for a test I measure out the protein and veggies I'm supposed to eat. I couldn't eat it all. So now I'm a little worried about that. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

tkdtara84 08-08-2011 04:19 AM

I'm back from my weekend trip, and it did not go well at all. I had thought about it and had planned to go off, but I never set any exact parameters for how far I would go off. That was my first mistake.

It was awful. I ate almost every meal off for three days. To make matters worse, I totally binged. I think it was more that I knew I was "off my diet" and felt like I should take advantage of it.

We stayed at an inn/b&b type place, and they set out snacks and dessert. That was my biggest problem. I'm not a snacker, but food was there all the time, and it was baked dessert type stuff. To be fair to myself, my husband, who doesn't really have food issues did even worse than I did. We both felt half sick for most of the weekend.

I realize it's totally stupid to eat like that, and it wasn't even all that enjoyable since it made me so uncomfortable. I think it was worse because my system wasn't at all used to food like that, but now I'm up at 4 am because I'm still miserable. I'm just disappointed in myself overall. In fact, I think the lack of self control bothers me worse than teh weight gain (7 lbs, most of which is probably water that will go away in a week). It just makes me worry about maintenance.

Anyhow, tomorrow is strictly back OP, possibly metaquick. I definitely don't have the desire to cheat anymore after feeling so gross all weekend. The other sad part is that I wasn't at all having cravings or excess hunger before I cheated. Now I'm going to have to get it all out of my system again.

stone3973 08-08-2011 09:00 AM

tkdtara, you will get it together because you already have a plan, just stick to it
Now u know what it feels like to over do it. You're doing great!

Monday morning renewal...Goal is 3 pounds this week. I really need to reach the goal for myself and stay motivated.

ConnieInColorado 08-08-2011 02:33 PM

Drink LOTS of Water everyone!!

On my scale I'm down 2 lbs, but we'll see what my official WI brings tomorrow.

My concern is......I missed lunch yesterday and can barely "choke" any food down today. Just a stressful time, but I don't want my metabolism to shut down.

lostcause 08-08-2011 05:44 PM

ok changed my goal weight last week from 155 to 145 so I have made it to the half way point again yeah me! Think I am finely of that rollercoaster ride R at least I hope I am. lost 2.5lbs over weekend.

ConnieInColorado 08-08-2011 05:59 PM

Lostcause ~ I think you're gonna have to change your name to something like: "HaveHope", "GotMeSomeMotivation", "AlmostThere" or something!! :) Keep Going.....You Can Do This!

Dolly 08-08-2011 06:49 PM

tdktara- I went far OP when I went to NYC. I gained 9 pounds but lost 11 over 5 days time. I drank more water than usual and went back to a basic plan. You'll be fine.

Tamikl- welcome. You're going to love it here.

Goneforgood- you are SO close. I know you'll get through that first week fine. What a way to start the school year!

Connie- I hope that 2 pounds sticks for your official WI tomorrow. I had a day like that yesterday. I got up late and wasn't my usual hungry self. Needless to say, that feeling didn't last long.

lostcause- congrats on a great loss!

fluffy- it seems like a lot of food at first. But you'll get used to it.

I'm up .8 pounds today. Just TOM so I'm not worried.

Goneforgood1128 08-08-2011 09:45 PM

Well....Here's what I faced today: Chick-fil-a breakfast, chocolate candy on the table in front of me all day and lunch was TGIF chicken spaghetti, breadsticks and cookies for dessert. I am happy/proud to report that I had already eaten my MRC cheesecake for breakfast, didn't munch on the candy, and ate my OP lunch! One day down, 6 to go before the kids come!

ConnieInColorado 08-08-2011 09:59 PM

GoneForGood ~ What a Fantastic job you did not letting the tempting food win you over! Did your coworkers comment on your weight loss?!

Goneforgood1128 08-08-2011 11:05 PM

Thank you, Connie...Yes, the few who I had not already seen over the summer did take notice! We'll see what the rest of the week brings!!

Goneforgood1128 08-08-2011 11:07 PM

Thank you for the encouragement, Little Edie! I'm attending the preparing for stabilization/maintenance class tomorrow night, so I may have a lot of questions next month for you and Patzi and others who've "been there!"

patzi 08-09-2011 12:32 PM

Hi...
I had my maintenance weigh in and I lost the 1 1/2 pounds I had gained, so 4 1/2 pounds under my goal, which is good.

Last week ,
I added bagel, one full one, vs. 1/2
homemade healthy oatmeal cookies( had two during the week, vs. 1)
Added an additional 8 oz. of soy milk.

I told the center, that for one month I am not going to take any supplements or HNS and want to see how I do. They were not happy with that, but I am use to that, and said that was what I wanted to do and would decide after a month on where to go from there. So that case was closed.

Also wanted to try a few vegetarian days to see how I do, as sometimes, eating meat protein, just gets to me. I was vegetarian when I was in college,
so it is familiar . If I find myself becoming hungry or gaining, then will forget it, but it is something I wanted to try. Will let you know next time on weigh in.

There are so many new people. I want to wish you all, the best in your challenge, congratulations to all the losers, and for those struggling, hang in there, it will all work out at the end.. When I have the time will go thru the
posts to see if I can help anyone. Hard to do at work..

Patzi

Congratulations to all the losers and welcome to all the newbies. It is great to meet you all.

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend, and remember, think thin.

Patzi

Patzi, thank you but it wasn't me who hit goal. I am still stuck at the same weight! Let us know how the month without supplements goes for you. It will be nice to get to the point where I don't have to buy HNS any more!

tkdtara84: Good luck getting rid of those cravings. I know how hard it is once you go off track. Sigh.

luvs2read79: thank you! Good luck with the swimming. At least you are trying to move forward and do something positive! What do you want to use the Fat & Carb blockers for? I initially got them to use at restaurants. But now I am using them when I got off plan. :-O

Rzrbackcandi 08-09-2011 02:41 PM

Went to PiYo last night at the center and did more leg work! I was still hurting a bit from Saturday so now I'm really hurting! :exercise: I'm hoping at some point my body gets used to the workouts so I don't have to hurt so much. I'm planning on going to the gym in a few hours and doing a light walk on the treadmill. Hoping that will help my legs loosen up a bit.

I still went for WI this morning because I usually go Tuesdays & Fridays. I knew it wasn't going to be too goo because of the soreness/water retention. I was right.. only down .5 since Saturday. I know, still a loss but still a little discouraging.

@Patzi - congrats on the loss! Keep us posted how things are going with no supplements. I'm not sure why they would be mad because they keep telling me that at some point you won't take any supplements. Unless they are just messing with me! Which would not be nice.

@GoneforGood - Way to go on staying away from all those temptations! Keep up the great work.

Welcome to all the new people! I hope everyone is having a great OP week!

RaRaF 08-09-2011 03:11 PM

Hi ladies--well, the fair think has finally caught up with me. I still haven't gained, but I went to the dr. this morning and he said that I am dangerously low on salt and potassium. He said the combination of avoiding sodium, and drinking all the water and the 110+ heat last week is really making me sick--SO--lots of potassium today, I'm having the "dreaded" deli-meat for lunch today, to help try to get things back into sync. No wonder I've felt SO awful!

Today is my first full day back OP, hoping to get back in the swing of things, and not play head games when I retain some water. I know it's gonna happen, and I know it HAS to happen so I guess I'll just go with it. UGH_-why can't all of this be easy????

I hope everyone is doing great this week!

Tamikl 08-09-2011 03:23 PM

Hi all!

I am doing something different this week. Because I live away for MRC centers, I have been going to do my WI once per week rather than twice. They want me to come twice per week for a couple of weeks..believing that will help my weight loss. I will try it! I feel like I have been doing ok...but I average 1-2 lbs. per week. Apparently, there are others out there losing 3-5 lbs on average per week! I can't imagine that.

So far so good this week as far as staying OP. Not eating out certainly helps!!:)

I am sort tired of salads for lunch. Any lunch ideas out there that are quick, easy, and accomodate a busy mommy during the summer??? LOL I am on the go with the kids a lot....

Happy weight loss everyone!;)

Dolly 08-09-2011 03:43 PM

Goneforgood- I'm doing this on my own so I'll be relying on Patzi and others for help when I lose another ten pounds. I hope to have the money to sign up soon at the center so I can get measurements and all done.

RaRaF- I always wondered about drinking too much water. I've seen people low on potassium and sodium and it affects your heart.

Candice- A slow easy walk sounds perfect for those sore muscles.

Patzi- good for you for sticking to your guns.

brandy8188 08-09-2011 04:27 PM

gone for good--- way to go. I'm so impressed with your will power.

WI today.. no loss, but no gain. They did a measurement and I've lost 11 inches. I'm pretty impressed with it. They want me to add another hns and of course drink more water. I've only been having 3 hns for most days. I'll give it a try.

tkdtara84 08-09-2011 05:16 PM

little edie-- thanks for the comment about your NYC trip. It made me feel a lot better!

I'm doing metaquick for five days this week to try to lose everything I gained on my anniversary trip. It seems to be working-- lost 2.6 lbs. the first day. I'm sure hungry on this, though. Also, I forgot how unsatisfying it is to "drink" your meals insted of eating them. I'm sticking to it, though, and I keep telling myself that it will be over Friday. When I was in grad school last time I did MRC, I used to love MQ because it was easy and fast. Now that I'm at home with more time on my hands, it's more difficult. I'm not sure if it's so difficult this time because it just is or because I ate off plan foods for a few days.

luvs2read79 08-09-2011 07:35 PM

All Day Weight Loss Supplements

Does anyone know if their center has these in stock? My center doesn't offer them anymore, though the consultant couldn't tell me why and I'm interested in purchasing them and giving them a try as opposed to the MRC-6, Phentatrim, and Cortitrim. If so, could I send you the money and you purchase them and send them to me?

Thanks.

Or does MRC have a way that I can order stuff online?

luvs2read79 08-09-2011 08:27 PM

Brownie recipe

I looked through the sticky and saw 'brownie bites.' Is this the only one? Direct me please.

Thanks.

Hi...
I will send you some ideas for easy lunches..I bring my lunch to work every day, so try to make it easy. I will try to get back to you from my business some time today.. I understand being on go, as I am catching a flight many times due to business, or driving there.

Patzi

patzi 08-10-2011 08:03 AM

Tamikl..

Here are some ideas for lunch.. I was on Meta Slim, so you may have to make adjustments to plan you are on. My lunch allowed me protein, veggie, fruit for lunch. So if I give a single items, I added veggies, including salads
and fruit to each item.
Egg, tuna, chicken salad wrapped up in butter leaf lettuce

Meatballs, meat from turkey , cold, with salad

Sliced chicken breast wrapped around lowfat string cheese( make sure the chicken and cheese is your allowance of protein

Leftovers from night before

veggie quiche muffins made with veggies( this is an old South Beach recipe,
where I take egg beaters, veggies, and make muffins out of them by baking

Home made turkey burger patties or turkey burger sausage( I make these each weekend, and freeze)

Turkey burger meatballs home made

Lettuce wraps work well with supper from night before

Cooked and peeled shrimp on top of a salad,or eaten cold with raw veggies and an acceptable dip

Celery stuffed with shrimp or tuna or crab salad

That is about all I can think of for now.

ConnieInColorado 08-10-2011 12:54 PM

tkdtara ~ Silly question, but what flavor shakes are you doing on MQ? A 2.6 lb lose on day one is awesome!!

I was planning on starting MQ yesterday, but chocolate shakes are on back-order at my center. I was so bummed. They tried to get me to buy chocolate pudding or something else to add to the vanilla, which I'm not willing to do.

Has anyone tried the vanilla? I'm such a chocolate lover that I was looking forward to it! I now only have 3 days that I can do MQ before my big birthday bash on Sunday. I wanted to lose an extra couple of pounds so my new WHITE capris look good! :)

My center can't tell me for sure when the chocolate will be in.....maybe not til Friday, so should I just "suck it up" and get the vanilla???

Thanks Ladies!!

tkdtara84 08-10-2011 03:18 PM

Connie-- I'm drinking the chocolate. I'm with you-- not a vanilla shake person, but if it were me in your situation, I'd suck it up and try the vanilla. Worst case scenario-- you hate it, but I would think it would at least be tolerable. Also, if you get the ready made kind (2 ready made=1powdered shake), the texture is so much better, and it's MUCH more pleasant. It ends up being slightly more expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Tonight I'm going to try mixing the powdered one with boiling water and then refrigerating overnight to see if it's any better. I'm also going to experiment wtih using a blender, but I hate that grainy texture. The ready made are very smooth and creamy.

One other option-- in the OP food diary thread, Victorialynn mentioned these shakes she found at Trader Joes that were almost the same as the MRC ready made ones. I found them at my Target. They're made by Pure Protein, have 120 calories, 6g carbs, 23g protein. If you drink 2, then you are consuming 10 less calories, about half the carbs, and 11 more grams of protein. While it's not exact, it's very close, and it seems to be better because of the fewer carbs. They're also cheaper, around $2/shake. If you're in a crunch, those would probably work. Personally, I'm drinking one of those and one MRC ready made. If you wanted to do that, you could mix a chocolate pure protein one and a vanilla MRC, and it would probably taste pretty good.

As for my 2.6 loss-- that was following a major cheat over the weekend, which made me hold water, so that's not a real fat loss. I lost 2.4 lbs. on the second day, though, so it's still going well. When I did MQ in the past, I usually lost about 5 lbs. if I did it for a week, so it does work faster for me than the regular program, but the 5 lbs. in 2 days for me is because of the water retention from my off program days just prior to MQ.

Good luck!

I'm back from my business trip and my plan didn't go as planned. I hate when things are out of my control. Let's just say I knew there was going to be issues when out comes :burger: & fries Monday and then yesterday they served :jeno: Grrrrrr..... It was either that or nothing. Not to mention, I had to leave the plant up in Michigan yesterday at five and race to the airport to turn in the rental car and make my 7:15 flight. Made it with a little time to spare, but nothing to eat. So, my connection was through O'Hare (problem #1) and only 20 minutes to get from one concourse to the other before my flight home boarded. By this time, it was 8:30 and I only had the aforementioned pizza earlier to eat. My flight didn't get home till 11:30 pm, so instead of starving I ate the only thing that was next to my gate since I was in a hurry. McDonald's. :mcd: Can I just say...:barf:

Did I mention all I was offered yesterday was one bottle of water? Couldn't even tell you where there was a water cooler and I wasn't at liberty to walk around the facility.

I woke up this morning and in 2 days, my scales said I gained FIVE pounds. The food didn't help. The lack of water over the past couple of days didn't help. And TTOM should be hitting any minute now. Just totally frustrated.

Stay strong Jen!

Sometimes you can't make the right choices because there are no choices for you to make and you have to work with what you got! But time to get back on the wagon and continue with the ride :D

My center says you can mix any flavor with the shake. Try the vanilla shake and the strawberry gelatin when mixed together it taste like strawberry shake. Be sure to add alot of crushed ice. I always make it in the blender too. It makes it smooth.
