Jen-
MF actually recommends that you have an extra shake if you are hungry. You'll still be under the 100 carbs. I use the meal logger on their site. It really keeps you honest. I hear ya on the mid-day hunger. I'm a late night nosher. I made myself eat a salad last night. If I felt like mindless chewing, it was going to be on lettuce!

Well, I almost blew it. My daughter asked me to make her some ramen soup today. Now, I don't necessarily eat ramen soup often but it sure sounded good today. So instead I called MF and asked if I could at least have a cup of coffee with sugar. I know it sounds like a strange alternative but I enjoy my coffee in the morning. Anyway, the rep. said I can have up to two tsp. of sugar as long as I don't have a MF snack during the day. I am now a very happy Medifaster and can definitely do this!

Jen, I appreciate all of your help yesterday. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

we can have 2 tsp of real sugar? that is good to know. I'm fine with skipping the snack.

You are very welcome!

Jen,

I was thrilled to find out about the sugar too! I told the rep. I'd give up any dressing I would use for my salad for just one tsp of sugar. To my surprise, I get two!!

Hi All! -

First .... the good news! -

My husband had an interview a couple days ago, and the job seems like it was tailor made for him! - The interview went VERY well, & they said they'd let him know something in "a couple of weeks"... well, today, they called & asked him for a SECOND interview! (woo hoo!!!!!) .... so that's DEFINITELY a good sign! - so keep your fingers & toes crossed for him!

....because if he gets this job, we'll be totally OK.... AND.....

I can GO BACK ON MEDIFAST!

Now the not-so-good but not really terrible news....

since I'm no longer ON medifast, but trying to maintain the PRINCIPLES of the diet... I haven't lost a single ounce. BUT.... at least I haven't gained any weight back! ... so.... yay? Yes, I'll go with YAY!

Well, **** yeah, Beachy, I'd go with a YAY too. In fact, I'll throw in a Yippee myself. And definitely keeping good thoughts going for your DH.

Welcome Hope and congratulations on the First 17 lbs. Keep it up and another 17 will be gone in no time.

So I'm at work, bored out of my mind, cruising the forum and in the questions a chick was asking about why there isn't an area for WS and NLS. I let her know about the diversity here and invited her in. I'll PM her in the morning. So anyhoo, how about we just ask Suzanne to change the sub forum name to *drum roll*

Medifast, WonderSlim, NewLifeStyles, Etc.

Pretty creative, huh?

Beachy-Fingers and toes are crossed for the DH to get the job! Heck...I'll even cross my eyes if it will help!

Medifast, WonderSlim, NewLifeStyles, Etc.- I likes!

Hope2Blosing-Welcome! and congrats on the weight loss! That is awsome!

Jen-Hang in there...I'm sure you remember that the first few days on MF can be awful...but when ketosis kicks in that hunger and cravings seem to just vanish! The extra shake to get you there sounds like a good idea. I just drink extra water to fill me up.

I am still OP...but my struggle is the cold weather. I just want that full, heavy, sleepy feeling. For the first time since I started MF...I am struggling.

Hang in there DJ!! You can do it!!

Give yourself one more week. Then, ya know what? If you need a break from it, well, that's OK too. You've come a helluva long way from where you were. I'm not saying be an idiot and gorge on whatever you want. But, you don't have to lose every week to be a "success". I've been on "break" since Aug. I don't feel bad about myself. The fact that I've gained less than 10 lbs. actually makes me feel pretty proud.

I make better choices now on a daily basis, and that encourages me as I start again. At least I know when I reach my next goal I can maintain it. Maybe I'll go all the way to 135 or I may stop at 160. We'll see when I get there. But, for now, I feel a whole lot better than I did last March, and that's good enough for me.

Thanks Operator- I'm hanging on. I think it is good practice for later temptations if I can get through this cold snap. I am really anxious to get to goal now...I need clothes so badly! I bought sparingly on my way down. Almost everything I have is hanging off of me. I don't want to buy anymore until I can shope for my goal size...
Then it's ON!
I want these last 19 lbs to just melt overnight. It seems like I have been at this forever and I want it over!...maybe that anxiety is adding to my strugggle.

Default Hey everyone!!

Hey gals and guys..my name is emily, and this is my fifth day on MF, i have already lost 4 pounds..well that is if im talking about the morning, ..i just weighed my self now and inm up two lbs, but im guessing cause im drinking lots of water and liquids during the day..??im hoping that is what it is..lol.. so i love this msg board, everyone on here really inspires me, im so proud and happy for all of you who have lost so much weight...im hoping to be there with y'all soon!! i am finally ready to do this.. i have gained about 80 pounds in the last year..from eating so much fast food, drinking way too much wine and beer and not excersing anymore, i use to be a volleyball player in college, and once i graduated and moved in with my boyfriend, everything went down hill.. (in the weight sense)...as much as i love wine, beer, and fast food.. i realize it is time for me to be happy with MYSELF like i use to be.. and fit in my old clothes..and buy some new ones!!- can't wait for that!! so here i am..loving medifast and hoping for a great change.. i just hope i will stick with it.. because i need it - for my physical health and my mental health!! so that is about me!! im so excited to get to know everyone on here and get and give some great support!!

I'm on day two of MF and so far so good. I just can't stop going pee! I know that's good, but it's annoying at the same time. Will I be going pee like this all the time. Where I work the bathrooms are kinda far, just a little concerned.
