I just wanted to clock in real quick like to say that I am enjoying a scrumptious bowl of oatmeal. YUM! My dad is home and doing absolutely better, my old man is driving me batty and the kids are calm for the moment. We do have to take our new dog back to the pound today. It is sort of a blessing in disguise, though. She poops in the house after an hours long walk, she digs out from under the fence and BOLTS. And she sheds EVERYWHERE! (reason the doctor said to give her back) For 5 little pounds she sure causes a ton of headaches! We will miss her.
Well, have a happy and monumentous tuesday! I got a playdate to tend to. Missy

Oh, and this is funny... I seem to be stuck at 199.5 for the last few days, but Im just happy its stuck at UNDER 200! lol hopefully the scale will move soon, Ive upped my exercise so... hopefully! Be good

OK.....so I've been off the wagon for 2 days. I got back on today. I have been majorly stressed out and using it as an excuse to binge. I am hoping I have the discipline to stay on plan.
sending prayers out for gatorgril's friend....I can't even imagine. Glad to hear Papa Tony is doing well! keep it together ladies!

Well Ladies, I am on the road again. I am heading to Atlanta to be with my friend for a couple of days. This will be the first time I have ever taken such a long car trip by myself so pray that I get there and back safely. Continue to keep my friend and her hubby in your prayers. She seems to be doing well all things considered but I know that the funeral tomorrow will be tough. They are looking to the Lord for strength right now.

I will check back in Friday or Saturday, stay OP ladies!

Romans, Good for you for getting rightr back on plan before things get out of plan! Stay motivated!

Missy, I can certainly identify with the plateau. Keep the positive attitude about it. That will help. Hopefully you will be back on a downward spiral again soon!

Gatorgrl my prayers go out to you and your friend. Be careful on the road.

Well, I am finally loosing again. I am really happy but a strange thing is happening. When I was on the plateau, I wasn't even templted to cheat since that would turn the plateau into a gain. Now that I am loosing. I am struggeling. I am not hungry and I don't crave anything in particular. I just want to eat something reallly fattening...and lots of it! What is wrong with me? Does anyone else have these problems?

I was down 4 lbs. This week!!!! Way to break a plateau! Yay!!!

Fabulous djay!!! I am so with you on the losing so wanting to eat thing. I think the most important thing is to not let little slips turn into big binges. I managed to not gain this week so I consider that as good as a loss considering what I ate!

good luck with the yard sale. I am the opposite. I hate clutter so I never save anything. I love yard sales though!

Default Hello;)

DJay - Hang in there...you had a FABULOUS loss, and cravings are just cravings...you're human, and you will have them, but they don't have any power over you! You are an amazing, strong woman, and you can do this!

Missy - It's the smells that tempt me, too...theatre popcorn is a tough one. Pizza really gets me, and my DD b-day party is coming up, so there will be plenty of that. But, just jump back on board. Glad your Papa is doing well. You'll be back on track in no time. Ick, rummage sales...we had one this summer and only 6 people showed up Just a bad weekend for it. Hope yours is MUCH more successful!

I weighed in this week yesterday and was down 6.8#, because that's when "My Plan" said to weigh in, but I thought today was my actual weigh-in, and the scale was another lb, so that would make 7.8 # in a week - and it's TOM! So I am pretty happy. Also, went to Noah's Ark at WI Dells and stayed OP, despite the funnel cakes and Dippin Dots', so feeling pretty good right now

Hope everyone has a good week...this is the end of my vacation, back to work tonight. Oh, well, until I win the powerball, have to work for a living Bye, now!

Hello Everyone,

Reading this thread has been so helpful. I am sending everybody positive loser vibes
I am finishing up my first week on plan. It hasn't been too bad. I only had a small pity party and cried a little one time when I thought about eating this way for the long haul. Now, I am learning to season the food that I don't like and it is much better. I also bought a generic magic bullet and now I just love the shakes. They are icy and frothy.
After 6 days I have lost 7 pounds which I am really pleased with considering it's that TOM.
Thanks for reading and I wish everyone continued support and less stress!

Hello, Hello

Rnmom and cat.....wow! good going ladies. I love that first week loss. I was TOM on my first week too. Talk about Yuck! Words of advice....the second week I had my smallest loss (1.5lbs) so keep that in mind and don't get discouraged. Also, try some recipes to make some of the food edible. I am a really picky eater so right off that bat I only ordered shakes and bars and chicken noodle soup. I did get some free food that I had to do something with (oatmeal!!!). REcipes are the way to go. Stay steadfast ladies!

Thank you all SO much for the support! Whew! I made it through yesterday without going off plan. And then.....

IT happened today!!!!!!!!!

Someone at work noticed that I have lost weight! I'm on cloud nine! Makes yesterday's struggles all worth it! Yea, yea...I know...I should be doing this for myself an what others say shouldn't matter so much....But this feels awsome!!!!!! What a difference a day makes!

Congratulations to the new loosers among us! You ladies are doing great! Keep it up!

D

Romans - Thanks so much for the advice and the heads up!

I can't remember who was talking about DaVinci's, but I have only seen in online (but I am from a really small town!) Amazon.com has it. If you google it a ton of sites come up...

You can get Davinci's at Costco buisness or Cash and Carry, (I am in Seattle so...) Any place that supplies to small business. Think coffee houses.
Off to run my moms yard sale, man does she have a LOT of stuff! Its overwhelming at times. Be good ladies, be awesome! Missy

Whew! Finally home from all my travels. Thanks for the prayers for my friends, they are doing well but will have many hard days ahead once everyone finally leaves. It is hard to stay OP while on the road but I ate a lot of grilled chicken...don't think I want anymore chicken for a couple of weeks

Hope you all have a great weekend!
