Thanks for the coffee, Sue. I see you are still in overdrive. Is there any chance of YOU time this weekend?

It looks like rain again! I scrounged a carload of plants from generlous Lurker Lorraine and hope to get some more planted this a.m. I did the patio and lane planters yesterday and it makes a great improvement. I also remembered a big box of perennials I'd stashed away in the barn as they arrived on a rainy day. (The plants still look OK.) I'm such an idiot! I ordered about 50 assorted daylilies and have not figured out where to plant them! There is not enough sun on the non-dog side of the privacy fence and I'm not sure how long they'd last on the dog side! They may have a row in the veggie garden until I am sure they survived their isolation in the barn.

The other home improvement news is that my bathroom is done! Now I need to install the new towel racks and TP holder. No hurry as I've been messing around with it since March, I think. I promised Painter Bill and DH hat I would not tackle any more jobs like that one.

Lots to do today - even if it does start to rain. I'll sip Sue's coffee and fold the laundry I have in the dryer from yesterday! DH never learned laundry in Domestic 101 but he does well at unloading the dishwasher!

Happy weekend, Chickies.

I'm here for a quick hello- and some hot coffee! Hi Ruth, How long can perenials last unplanted in a garage? I want to take some peonies and iris from my current house to the new house, any tips?

Sue, CHILL!

busy day today, DN has softball All-Stars game(how cute is that?) and her dance recital tonight. we are up early to get the housework out of the way, and may spend tomorrow packing and doing some priming on new doors for inside the new house. Packing a bit, but it seems silly to take things out of cabinets and shelves just to put them in boxes on the floor! So, I'm waiting til the end of JUne, we probably won't move til around July 1st.

And, let's not talk about food.

ttyl,
dottie

Not much today I work for 4-5 hours or more (patient going bad) today then have to come home and do shopping and finish cleaning the house. i just may crash for a while as I may not have a choice. My body will just stop for a few hours and then i wll be ready to run. but I do enjoy my people. so it is not a sacrafice. soon we will have more help. but as i told one of my patients I would rather them see some know they know than a total stranger that does not know them.

Just cruising in after a lackluster day yesterday. For some reason I was so tired all day that I barely moved! Hmmmm...maybe taking it a wee bit hard this week? I dunno. However, the carb monster has got me in a death grip and I'm trying very hard to get away. I hope he doesn't do too much damage before this is over. I have TOM so perhaps this is making it easier for the evil beast!

Dh is off to a company golf tournament today and I am just going to focus on getting the house together while he's gone. There is a barbeque after but I don't know if I want to go. First on the hit list is dishes!

Annie, glad to see you back and congrats on the 10 pounds lost!

Sue, I can see that you are way too busy for words some days, I hope you find time for yourself in the madness!

Ruth, I need some more perennials, wanna send them my way?

Hiya Peachie!

Hey Dottie, are you remodelling the kitchen too in your new house? When is your move day?

Have a good one all those to come

I want to say hello to everyone. I am a newbie and just started on Atkin's a week ago. I really have found a lot of support here and wanted to thank everyone. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Default Morning

Hello to the chickies!
Dreary morning here today-maybe the sun will peek out-but it is not looking to hopeful. DD is feeling a little better today-enough to fight with her sister anyway! I am about to go cuckoo being in the house with the sickos! Ready to get out for some real conversation-Sh does not offer me any real conversation either-just bi@#$$#@!!
Well ate some well deserved pizza last night and the carb monster did not stay-back OP today and not feeling any worse for it. Tori brought home her preschool things the other day and I just sat and went through them this morning--whew! There were a couple of pix of me in there-I am humongous!!! It is unreal! I know I am big-the pix just confirmed I am bigger than I thought disgusting!!

Well, I am off to do God know what-but I need to move my butt!

See ya all!

It's raining, really raining here today. Daylillies are usually very hardy and will survive in a neglected state for quite a while. Don't ask how I know. They also multiply quite quickly. I planted some last year and have already had to divide them.

I just got back from a Vacation Bible School meeting that included breakfast. Well breakfast was fruit, bagels, coffee cake, and orange juice. Someone asked why I wasn't eating and I said that I am on Adkin's Induction. Another lady (who had a plate full of food) said, oh, I am too we'll have to talk later. We must not have the same book. lol
Well I'm off to fix something for lunch. Have a great weekend everyone.

LOL I have about 10 people at owrk that are trying to do Atkins or similar. One of them stole a cappachino brought in for her before they found out she was on atkins. had to laugh at her death grip on the stupid sugar laden item that would have been me 2 weeks ago!! that look of terror or thinking of that sugar going to waste. I feel so free that I am not addicted at this time to them. well i guess I am still... but I am breaking it's current hold. i need to think that it is a life long things. like smoking I have been smoke free for 15 years and still have the urges to smoke.

well any ways I have been home for a few hours aI went to lay down and that did not last long I guess I had anhalf hour nap and that is it but I rested for 2 hours. so I am ready to run for the rest of the day.

Cold war is still going on here. I found out that DH was up to his "stuff" for 2 hours yesterday. and as long as that is what turns him on that is all he is going to get. I think he is off on vacation for this week. I do not know as i have not talked to him in almost a week and half. and refuse to as he can not keep his eyes in the right direction!!!

well enough of my problems I need to get food in this house and do some cleaning.

Sue, could this be your hubby's way of seeking attention? It's strange the way men's minds work sometimes. Some guys think if they ogle sexy pictures that it will somehow turn on their wives or make their wives want to compete with the porn. AS IF!!!!! I'm really lucky that dh has never brought porn home and never ogles other women in an obvious way. (I'm sure he looks though). On the other hand, he's not the most communicative guy except when he needs me to do some work for him. He also doesn't do housework. Well, seeing as he puts in a 10 to 12 hour day and I'm a stay at home, I guess I really can't expect him to help with the vacuuming and dusting. Darn.

All this talk about storing perennials has reminded me that I have an ice chest full of dahlia and glad bulbs waiting to be planted. Now where am I going to put them? The garden is overflowing as it is! I'd better go and check if they're still alive. They could have turned to mush in the heat of the garage by now. They are ok out there in the winter time, but we're having a heat wave right now and the garage is quite warm. Oh well, no great loss I guess.

Tomorrow is my WI day and I'm a bit nervous, especially as I haven't been strictly OP the last couple of days. No serious infractions, but a nibble here and a nibble there can sure add up.

Anyhow, have a nice day, Chickies. I'll check in with you later.

I tried the "porn star" attitude, but it did not work. I will not say what I did but let me say it was quite an accomplishment for me to do that and all I got was I can not believer you did that. and then got riddiculed for it.

I put in a 10 - 12 hour day and then care for the kids house and dinner laundry ect... he puts in 4 -10 hour days then sits on his butt. where is the justice. I wish there was an easy answer but there is not. I love the guy but he has to make some changes. and allow me some quite time alone. without having to care for the kids and house and everything else. if he actually did make an attempt on a regular basis I think I would actually faint. he does only when I get angry only. then thinks all is ok and ingnores trying to talk about any "problem" as he sees it not a problem.

well did my g-shopping and found nothing to eat good so I will check out the sales for tomorow and try again.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Just got back from taking dd to see Finding Nemo. She kept her eyes covered during the scary parts, then missed most of the good parts too! I don't know if I told ya'll about my car a couple weeks ago, I blew $625 on a new fuel pump. Tonight the damn check engine light came on again. It better just be an idiot light, cause if I have to fix anything else on the dumb car, it's getting sold! I should have kept my 84 Buick, never EVER had it break down on me! BF and I went for Mexican today, and I was completely OP, go me!! Those chips were calling my name, and so was a peach margarita, but I was good. Regretted the heck out of it, but it was a sacrifice I needed to make! Anyway, you guys have a great night, I'll talk to you tomorrow!

OOOHHHHH I just BLEW!!!!

He got his ear full and when i confrunted him he said well All the problems would be solved if you just got rid of the computer. LIKE HE##!!!!

I told him my one vice was to talk with my friends, and I do that so little time I do not spend hours sitting in front of the TV or fishing.

then he said My friends well they are just my imagination. I said then I have a good imagination as those imagonary friends are my good friends and I will not give them up!! (notice how he was trying to turn it all back on me) He walked away and locked his self up in his room. and is still there. UUGGHH

It all started when Matt was angry as I had called him back from his friends house and Matt told me i was ruining his life. Tom said you are not the only one. I told him if i was ruining his life then I would leave and he can have his life all to his self. (I should have said and to his porn stars too!!) He wanted to know what was my problem and I just blew I would have said more but the kids were there and they do not need to know all the sorrid details.

OHH well I feel better for now. if only I can sleep now as i will not be worth much tomorow, and have several long days ahead of me to get several off. I think I will sleep in my sexy nighty!!
