Default Getting ready for another weekend battle!

Well...I've got this habbit that I am DETERMINED to break this weekend.....my habit is that I eat SOOO well during the week but then on the weekends....it's like I've got such a lack of self control that I just eat everything in site.....so I've changed things around a bit......instead of being soooo stringent during the week......my buddies and I went out last night and I actually joined them in beer and wings! (YUM!!!) for the last three weeks I've gone with them - I've stuck to the salads and "healthy" stuff - but I am hoping that I got enough of a "cheat" in that I could muster enough self control to handle the weekend......and I have this feeling it's going to work! Because I have typically mentally been in "weekend" mode on fridays at work....and so far....I've been really good!

I have also changed my workout routine around so that I am resting on Monday and Thurday as opposed to Sat and Sun...... I'm typically am much better at sticking to my diet on days I work out....I don't know why, but I am....so hopefully my new plan will help?!?!?!?!?

As a side note....I realized something last night......even though I'm not a big drinker....since I have started eating less - it takes me fewer beer's to feel it's affect!! (YIKES!) But that's ok...cause it just means that I become a better darts player - sooner!

I am off to Ottawa tonight - Looking forward to a relaxing weekend with my wife's family!!

Lol. well nugs them damn munchies . j/k i myself have that weekend problem do so well while hubby is at work, and i am OP, but then here comes the weekend, few brews. and the eventual munchies. then the godawful monday guilties.
even went so far as to try the new low carb/fat ultimat ( by miller i think) isn't that desperate. lol.
anyhoo, hope you enjoy your weekend. and here ( big cheers here0 to us battling the weekend insanity

Talking I am no match for the weekend.....

Canadian beer.....way too much canadian beer! I knew that being "on vacation" for the weekend was going to be bad news!!! lol The family that we stayed with wanted to make sure that we had every comfort we needed - this included a full breakfast with bacon, eggs, bagels, all the trimmings! (I had to be polite right???)

Anyways, I'm sure you get the point....I even went to thier casino on Sat. night...and they FORCED me to have dinner at the buffet! (it would have been rude of me to say no right??)

ok....so we are to Monday morning....I should feel guilty (again) but I don't...(I might be too tired to be feeling guilty!) I'm just laughing at myself and going to "be good all over again" this week.....it's only 5 days until the weekend!

Can't wait to see where this weeks journey takes me!!

PS Heather....don't let the beer thing get you down....I think that the more you drink - the better you are carbs wise!......I think you get the BEST nutritional value is in a 6 pack! It's got all the vitamins and nutrients you could ask for! I think I uses beer as my "meal replacements" this weekend (kinda like them slim fast shakes!) OOOPPS!

nugs, lol oh yeah beer is a meal replacement right? I certainly drink em like they are.
sounds like you enjoyed your vacation.
I was a bad girl this weekend so back to the monday morning blahs.
