1) Another mom came up to me laughing. I was standing by some bleachers cause it was a good place to watch the race. She was trying to direct other parents to the same place and said "Go over where that girl is standing by the bleachers." Yah, I'll be 37 in a couple of weeks but if I can get called a "girl" by someone I know, I'll take it!
2) There was a point in the race where one had to sprint from one part to another to see the runners again. I flew across and made it with plenty of time to spare. It's fun to run all out sometimes. :-)
DSS found a picture of me on a shelf in the guest room with him asleep on my lap when he was an infant, maybe 3 months old. He brought it to my husband and said "Daddy, I found a picture of Shannon and me when she was big with little hair." (My hair was cut in a very short bob for a long long time.)
2 NSV's for me:
1) I fit into the tiny skirts my mom bought me a couple years ago that I never fit in before!
2) I bought this great "little black dress", pics attached! (PS it was a size six!)
Well the others have already said it so I'll just add that I'm jealous you have a special occasion to wear that awesome sexy number! Up here in VT there isn't any event that requires a dress code more formal than jeans. Lucky you!
This thread is awesome!!!!!!!!!! One day I will being posting on it with my maintenance NSV! :clap

I live in MT and it's the same here. Just dress up and go out! That's how we (me and my girl friends) do it here! We decided we were tired of the frumpy jeans etc and for the last year we started dressing up. FUN and now others are joining us!
I've been unhappy with the scale. I am a little above where I was last winter---however! Last winter my snow pants were a little snug and this year they are loose, so Woohoo!!! A nice reminder of how fabulous weight training is!
