Dopey me...I was still posting, and looking for posts in the January thread! Is there really 6 pages from just today????
Does anyone find eating a salad from a restaurant makes you ill now? Once a week we order in at work, and I've been good, ordering salad of some type with chicken each time. Every single time though, my body completely rejects the food within 2-3 hours of eating it. I'm sure it's the oil, so I'll have to be pickier about getting the dressing on the side and see how that goes. Although, maybe the "spontaneous evacuation" (careful language here to avoid TMI) has been keeping me from gaining after those oily salads!
Evette -- All this time and you've never had a CC? Well, enjoy your pizza! I'm sure it won't do any scale damage, you certainly deserve a slice after all this time.
Jason -- GL on Saturday, both weighing in and resisting too much temptation at your UFC party.

Pavlov's dogs learned faster than this!
Kim, that's how I felt since it took me ALL DAY to figure it out...lol
Cassi -- Crossing of the legs, truly a huge NSV, congratulations!! I don't use a home scale at all, so it's impossible for me to resist finding out my weight at the COD. Plus, I'm totally recognition motivated, so I get off on them telling me I'm doing well, and get pumped for being POP. That all may change however when I hit a dreaded plateau!
Nicole -- In case you missed it, I did thank you for your kind words on the other thread (January), it was sweet of you to notice.
On the shopping topic, if it's any motivation, does anyone else always find its the smaller sizes on the best sales? All the more reason to stay pop, right? My asst at work is a size 2 at her most bloated TOM, and she finds super deals all over the place on small/x-small sheesh. (I love her anyway!)
Christine/Nicole -- I want to buy teeny bopper clothes too. I had a pair of size 10 American Eagle red cords before I blew up into the XXL version of myself. Sigh. I still have them hidden away downstairs somewhere.
Wendy -- I can't wait to be rid of my funbags...sayanora sisters!
Paula -- I hear you on the DH thing. Mine is not even on plan, he's just eating what I make, and eating whatever he wants in the daytime, and he's lost just as much weight as I have. I think he's doing it just to prove I didn't have to shell out all the money for this program. Grr...
Ulanda - Cooking, I love it too..and there's nothing more motivating to a cook than someone who appreciates her efforts. I don't think I'd ever cook if there wasn't someone around to enjoy it with me. I totally understand.
Juliemarie -- Oh how upsetting! I'm sure it will work out fine, arrive on time and everything will come together in the end. It would be an impossible task to tell you not to worry now though. I'm going to send out good vibes for a smooth process for you too.
Alannah -- Isn't it nice when someone else notices your successes? I don't see any difference in myself yet, but my mother and my assistant have both mentioned that they see changes. It's so encouraging. I applaud you for doing so well when you're in a transitional point in your life. It take a lot of dedication to stay strong when times are toughest.
Here's what I posted on the January thread by mistake...

Nicole -- You are so sweet. Thank you! I'm very proud of myself too. I had more or less expected myself to give up on this at some point, and I just can't believe the great results I've been having. It really works, and kind words from people like you really help to keep me on track.
Jenn -- WTG! 3.4 lbs is awesome! It's so nice when POP pays off like that.
Joni -- Thank you too! I second your recommendation for pet insurance. My little furry guy almost died when he was 12 weeks old, and I was lucky enough that it only cost me $600 (only...lol), so the next day I bought pet insurance. Of course, he's been healthy for the 5 yrs since, but insurance is there for when you really need it. I just love that I won't have to make the really hard decisions until we reach the policy limit.
Wendy -- Yay for your ODD!! She must be a hard working student, you have every right to be proud. Have fun working from home today, sounds cozy.
We were quite the chatty bunch today, weren't we?? 7 pages!!
Congrats on moving that scale again, Liz!
JM - Oh I sure hope everything works out for you! Keep thinking positive.. worrying just zaps your energy.
Wendy - oh you need to back away from the sclae honey! Several times a day? No no no... stop that! Oh, and I'm glad you don't have to do oil shots again tonight!! My goodness.. that's dedication!
Alannah - That's great that someone noticed... terrific nsv for you! I look forward to that day!
Cassie - I head Florida tans wash off
Tomorrow is a WI.. I'm thinking thin thoughts!
G'nite!
Mornin All,
Just stopping in to say a quick Hi before I go get in the shower.
I bought a mini trampoline last night and bounced for about 15 mins.
Dang, I never knew bouncing could be such a good workout, I'M SO SORE!!
Well, everybuddy, I have WI today, so let's see what all this exercise has done for me...
Congrats to all who have lost and to all who need it!!
I'll check back later and let ya'll know if the scale was good to me. HAPPY FRIDAY!! and
Good Morning Everyone- Just wondering if anone else has bought or used those mini trampolines? My DD has a huge one we keep in the backyard but there is a weight limit and I couldn't get on it not to mention you had to be a contortionist to get on the thing. Anyway it looked like lots of fun when she was on it. I've often wondered about the mini trampolines. Is there a weight limit on those too I wonder? Well I'm off to work TTYL
Have a OP day everyone.
Good morning all! Busy day here so I don't think I'll be able to play as much today. But know I'm thinking of all of you and sending some for a POP day and some to get through the weekend!
Hello all!! Well, the lunch was not at all what I expected. It was only a meeting of six people and everyone decided to order a la carte, so....no one at the table ordered pizza!!! OMG!! Going to Filippi's Pizza Grotto and not ordering pizza, that's tragic, not to mention that they do not sell pizza by the slice. Basically, I didn't get to have my slice of pizza that I was truly anticipating. So, my boss that's on weight watchers and I, ordered the usual salad with our dressing on the side and the rest of the people at the meeting ordered spaghetti, lasagna, and chicken parmesean (sp). Boo!! It's okay.... I dealt with it fine, no harm done.
I would first like to thank all of you that put up with my many, many questions about the pizza and Carb Cravers. It didn't happen yesterday, but I'll try it again some other time.
So, that's my story girls....
Cassi, Shrinkinggirl, Jenn, Wendy, Angie, Jason, Dan, Pearl, Kristen, Kim, Kim#2, Christine, Alannah, Nicole, Joni, Paula, Aggie, JM, Lizzy, and Katie and all of the others that I missed....HAPPY FRIDAY!!
Hi guys!!!! TGIF! Wow, I've been gone for a couple of days and already lots to catch up on. I have had a sad few days at work. One of my coworkers passed away on Wednesday. It was unexpected and she was so young, so it hasn't been very fun here at the office. I am getting ready for Super Bowl weekend and thinking up all kinds of foods I can make that would be OP. Sorry I don't have time for personals, but I hope everyone has a POP day
Good morning!! I am so mad at myself. I had my usual lite toast this morning with a little SF jelly, and I packed up my back with my three fruits, baby carrots, and a diet mt dew (going out for lunch today). Got to my desk and realized that I didn't have my cold bag with me. Went back out to my car, and I had left it at home!! So now I've only eaten a piece of toast, and I'm gonna starve before lunch. Hopefully, I can sneak out after my 9:30 conference call and go for my WI. Been thinking about going back on the LA Lites, so maybe today is the day!! Also, they're right next to a grocery store, so I can buy some more fruit.
WendyII - Yeah, I need to kick my scale habit. It's all good now because it keeps going down, but if I don't get rid of the habit now, I'm gonna be in real trouble when I hit my first plateau.
Evette - So sorry that you didn't get your pizza!!! I know you were looking forward to it.
Well, off to get some work done (and starve) before my conference call.
Katiebug - sorry about the sad co worker news. I guess this is a reminder to enjoy every day we have.
JulieMarie - I am keeping the faith for you, girl. Josie is going to be yours someday, I feel it. With all of us praying for this to happen, how could it not? Keep your chin up and forge ahead, we're right here.
Katie - Good luck with the cake class! There is a teacher here that took some and man, she can make a cake! When she was taking the class, we LOVED thursdays (her class was wed nite) we were the guinea pig (emphasis on pig) and she would bring in all of her experiments! Yummy!
OK, there is one of my employees in my office doing some file clean-up, and she's the town nudge, so I'd better go.
Hey Kim, so it sounds like you are still suffering from the "strung out crack whore" pandemic?
Evette- That is crazy! After all of your planning, too.
Wendy- Even the best laid plans, huh?
Katiebug- So sorry about your co worker.
Jenn- We have a big trampoline, and my kids think that it is the funniest thing in the whole world to watch me jump on it. It is a huge workout for my body and my bladder!
It is currently -17 F, add in the windchill, and it is -32. Happy freaking February!
Morning all... T minus 2 days and counting until the Mexican feast arrives.. I think I'm just going to do my best to be good and behave.. My only real concern is the queso and chips.. If there's anything I like better than movie popcorn and fries, it's nachos, so I'm really going to have to watch myself..
The beer isn't too much of a concern.. I'll probably have a couple, but I'll go into the party with saved up starches and proteins... Beans and rice hold no charms for me, so no danger there..
Morning all! Sorry I've been MIA... Monday we got SLAMMED!!! Schools out, $1 bowling, can you say 1 hour waiting list?!? OMG!!!
Then I installed a new internet security software and after taking 5-7 hours to update, I get an error message... That's happened several times. I tried to download the updates manually and the software STILL says it needs to update...
ODS and I are working Sunday 'til 5, so we're having our own little SB party. We're making WW pizza crust with all the fixins. And hot wings... Then it's TO for us on Monday and Tues...
Job is going well, just not consistent with hours. Operations Manager is pleased with me and I impressed him on Monday amid the chaos!
I caught up on the Feb. posts, sorry about the rest of January...
No personals, but know that my prayers are with you Joni, Charlie and JM.
Hang in there the rest of you!
Here's some
Hugs,
