I'm so unladylike when I sit....one leg is always tucked up under by butt and/or butt/thigh. Eventually, it goes numb with all the weight on it and I'm like "duh...what did you expect??"
LOL - That is me too! Only I don't realize it's asleep until I get up and lurch about the room like a big Mo!
Evette - You crack me up. For God's sake, eat the darn pizza and enjoy it. You're not going to put on 81lbs if the crust is a little thick! Seriously, the book says "pizza shop style", so as long as it's not deep dish, you should be ok. Love ya, mean it!
Jenn - You've got your head back in the game. You'll be crossing those legs in no time.
Ulanda - Good luck w/FF and staying OP. I hope for your COD's sake there is a loss come Saturday. We're pullin' for ya!
Katie - As far as the "financial shift", it can't hurt to get the information and decide if this is something you really want to pursue. You can gather information, do market and location research and put together the basics of a business plan for free. I don't know where any money is coming from for me either, but I know this is something I'm going to find a way to try.
And on the culinary school thing, I just got a call from them. I was supposed to start 4/9 and go M,T,W from 6-10 for 18 mos. It's still starting 4/9, but it is M,T,W,Th from 6-10 for a year. I'm a little stressed at that one. But at least the weeks will fly by.
I posted in Jan this morning also Kim - don't feel bad! But it was a good laugh!
Cassie - I am so jealous! I would love to go to Culinary School....I would even like to just go to a weekend class.....maybe when my kids are out of the house! I would also love to become a wine sommelier......that would be dangerous! Great NSV on leg crossing!!
Evette - OK, I just had a major flash back! I think I have been to Filippi's in Chula Vista? I think....it was YEARS ago.... One of my only CC meals is pizza....love it! I usually get mushroom but had a huge slice of white pizza for my b-day.....mmmmmm!!
Katie - a good friend of mine and I dream of opening a pastry shop......or a wine bar......you should check with your local small business association - there are loans out there!!
Jenn - send some sunshine...pppplllleeeeaaaasssseeeee... we are waiting for snow here! Uggghhhh!!! Like to play in it but I am not good at driving in it anymore!
I am going to need new pants....but.....I don't want to buy them because I still have too much more weight that I want to lose..... What to do?
Oh cripes, I've literally fallen down from the sitting on your leg thing!! (go ahead.. picture it in your head.. it's pretty funny to see) Bad habit and one I have to break. It's not only bad for circulation, but bad for your spine as well. (My chiropractor told me that)
Joni - yep.. VPI.. that's the one. Then our vet couples it with their own extras and he has well checks all year long and teeth cleaning, etc. It's a great deal.
Christine - last night I had to go to a work-related dinner; I really have no nice slacks that fit. I wore a pair that literally I could have pulled down without unbuttoning. I need to gather all these up and Goodwill them and then I need to just go buy a couple basic pair (maybe one black and one brown or navy). I actually thought about looking at some of the second hand stores in town to save a buck or two. Some of our resale shops are pretty swanky.
Kim - I just noted your signature about you not being overweight, but you are under tall! LOL.
Christine, I shop at thrift, resale shops ALL the time!! I love'em!
I have brought my old clothes that don't fit anymore to the side door and then go right in the front door to look for more! hehe
I refuse to buy anything new till I've lost all my stuff... (except new underwear and bras, which I will NOT buy at a resale shop!!) EWWWW!!
PPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Where are you?
Work is no excuse.......how are you and your SLHSB (you know who I mean??).
I've heard there are some good sales out there right now so I might check try to find some staples (black, brown, navy) to hold me over.... (thanks!) I know of one second hand shop that has great names for very good prices.... I need to look for a nice wool jacket too.....promised my Mom I would pop up to Boston over the long weekend and did I mention????? I don't like to be cold!!!! The things we do for our Mom's......
Christine........shop sale racks......my rule of thumb.....when pants fall down while fastened (JONI), it is time to go shopping. I only buy one or two pairs of pants at a time. I just bought a $10 pair of jeans at Steve and Barry's in the mall......size 16........in the jr./missy dpt. Huge NSV for me!!! Steve and Barry's is a teeny bopper store, but I am in denial that I am 36 years old

LOL!!!!!!! I am hoping I won't lose too much off the "fun bags"...... stole this quote from someone on here......LOL....used it when walking in an art gallery recently too.....
