Hi Shirley and welcome! I've been here 5 days and I've enjoyed it very much so far.

Good Morning All!
I saw that a bunch of girls from the JC site were coming over here, so I decided to check it out! I love the support of the site over there, but lots of tech problems and it takes a long time to get responses...so I think I'll try it out over here and decide! Plus the "price is right!" My name is Allison aka Allie...I am a 37 year old mother of a 7 year old and a 4 1/2 year old. I work PT as an RN and live near Baltimore,Maryland. Married 12 1/2 years...great guy! I am an Emotional Eater&Type A personality. My struggle with weight only came post babies in my thirties...My metabolism shifted or something?!?!? I lost all of my weight after Olivia was born on Atkins but had no energy and my hair was breaking off (now that can't be healthy:dizzy: ) I LOVE this plan...very do-able...just need some support and somewhere to encourage and be encouraged! Hope to join you all on the journey! This seem like a great bunch! Allie:carrot: ....love that! |
Hello fellow "Cruisers"! :D I just started this plan today, and I am so excited! I mean, this is something I can do, ya know? Anyway, I'm Reva and I have 3 beautiful children-2 who are with me, and one's waiting on me in Heaven. :(
Anyway, I bought new scales today and was surprised to see that I weigh more than I originally thought. :( This is the heaviest I've been *not* pg. But that's ok-it'll come off too! :D I look forward to getting to know you all! |
Hi Allie - great to see you here! Glad you chose to join us. Donna, Tammy and Marcie are here and Samantha should be in a day or two. Hopefully Joan is thinking about it.
Hi Reva -- glad to have you aboard too. Welcome to the group. |

My Intro and Bio
Hello everyone!
This site is absolutely fantastic. I have been searching for other Jorge Cruise members for a while now and have found this fabulous support group. I officially started the Jorge Cruise lifestyle on July 31, 2004. That was the best thing I ever did in my life. I lost over 60 pounds so far and still need to lose another 24 pounds to get to my goal of 130. I had contacted Jorge's people before Christmas with my success story and they have invited me to send them my information to become a VIP member. I haven't done it yet. I put 6 pounds during the holidays and have been waiting to lose those extra pounds again. Losing this weight has changed my life tremendously. I'm even doing things now that I would never have done as a big women who wished to hide from people. I am in the process of writing an historical romance novel. I love to read them so why not write them. The worst thing that could happen is my not getting published! |
Welcome! Great Group of Ladies!
:wel3fc: |
Welcome!!! We are thrilled to have you! Yours sounds like yet another fab success story! Thanks for hopping on-board!

Intro...Donna
I began JC 3 HD program the beginning of the year. I have done well. Just looking for support. I had joined the Cruise site. BUT everyone is bailing due to technical difficulties. Seems like they were/are have some of the same here, but at least the owners are keeping you posted so you are not blindsided. Enough on that topic.
Have enjoyed reading through some of your posts. It has taken me quite a while to get signed in here. Anyways, I am a homeschooling mother of a 14 (9th) yo dd, 13(8th) yo ds , and 11 (6th)yo dd. This is key, because it means I am home most days with food readily available, but that we are often busy enough it is hard to find time for "me", let alone exercise. It also means that we really do 'fix' meals from scratch alot. AND on one income, the pre-packaged foods are a luxury I can't afford too often. BUT on the otherhand, when I plan I can focus on meal planning, food preparation, exercise time, etc. I am also a military spouse of 19 years (and was a military brat from time of birth until I married at 17). I have always struggled with my weight. I was successful using Body for Life and the Zone, but it is very hard to maintain that extremely low carb style. I still watch my carbs, as I find I do not lose weight if I eat too many. Not because of the carbs, but because I have an addiction with them. The more I eat the more I want. I was also a "non eater". Easy to skip meals when life is busy. So this program has really helped me to eat better. Just looking for some encouragement...and fellow strugglers. |
By the way...how do I insert a tracker for the short term February goal?

Welcome Donna!!! Its great to have you here!! Pull up a chair and jump right on in!!
