Hi, been thinking about this plan. reading on here and sounds like everyone is doing great. i am getting the book today to read. a friend has it. went on here and got a list of foods. thanks so much for them. it helps when ones share and all. i love the boards and working with everyone on this. i am in tops but we do any plan we want and believe me i have tryed them all. so going for this one. good luck to all and have a great week. I have tried a few diets myself :dizzy: I did enjoy The Zone and I felt great while doing it but it seemed like so much work and I started and gave up to many times. But, the 3 hour diets has been simple and doable for my lifestyle, gosh I think I have been doing it for about a month now..:) and I still love it!!!:D

Newbie Alert!
Hello everyone, I came across this site by accident last night and decided to join tonight. I have been reading the posts and boy, do they sound like my story. For the last 2 years me and my DH has taken care of my father who had extensive cancer. His fight ended the last of January. In those 2 years, there wasn't enough time to focus on anything but him, and my eating habits went out the window.
I also have a 10 year old DD, who doesn't eat like I want her to eat. But...what 10 year old does? lol I want to lose the weight I put on and help my DD learn healthy eating habits. My dream is to join the military, but I won't be able to unless I drop this weight. Me and DH is going on our first cruise in September, and I can't wait. I'm soooo excited. I want to be able to wear a bikini! Yes, you heard me, a bikini. I haven't been able to fit into a bikini since I was 5, and I'm determined to make it fit some other part of my anatomy.....not just my thigh. :o Well ladies, since I have written you a book, I will go. Hiya everyone,
I started the 3 hour diet 3 days ago, and while searching about it found this great place! i've been lurking around for 2 days now and everyone seems so nice and there is such a pleasant feel to the place so i decided to join. I'm 19 years old.. as many teenagers i have been dieting for so long, trying everything i could but i always quit from the second day.. the only diet i stayed on for longer than that was "the three day diet" which i stayed on for 3 days!! :D lol.. and i didn't lose anything so i just gave up dieting.. but in the past 18 months i've been putting weight on like crazy.. i put on almost 20 lbs wihtout noticing.. but everyone else did, and everyone commented (unfortunetly not in such a nice way) and i got so angry i told my mum that i didnt care how fat i got.. and started eating junk for two days like crazy just to show everyone that i didnt care what they thought.. but i really did care, thats the problem.. a couple of days later i decided i really do need to lose weight, and made up my mind, i want to lose but also to keep it off so i want to lose gradually.. then i came by the 3 hour diet on a forum and i was really interested.. coz it sounded so easy.. and i've been on it since Saturday.. if i get through tomorrow i will have broken my record, 4 days!! I really need all the support i can get since no one at home is interested, coz i've been on zillions of diets and always quit.. i'm going to prove them wrong and go through with this (hopefully, with all the wonderful help i can get on this forum and from all you great people out there).. I weight 137lbs, and i'm aiming at 110.. if i acheive that i would be more than happy, actually i'd be ecstatic :) I hope i get to know you all better.. Cheers, Emma |

Welcome Emma! You can do this! Just remember this is the way you need to structure your everyday life when it comes to food. It is great that you are going to get into this routine at an early stage in your life-wish I had the forsight when I was young...oh well...Glad to have you with us! :)
