I had my weakness moment. I ate the whole mini pizza instead of just half for my afternoon snack. The serving size is 1/2. I had just a mini tiff with husband and before I knew it in it went. I guess that was my treat of the week

Posting this so that our group ticker can stay posted and doesn't have to be in my signature.

Afraid to ask, what is the dog trained to do....from the looks of his picture -- attack to KILL Certainly would scare the life out of me to see that looking at me. Calm doggy, calm...... he could probably eat my two for a snack.

I here you guys about getting combined presents, although thus far Bryce has been pretty good, but then he doesn't have a lot of people buying for him. His bday is 1/10. What usually happens for us is we do our Christmas shopping and decide we bought him too much so hold some back and wrap up later for his birthday. Funny thing is, last year we got a present, put it in the storage room and forgot about it He finds it and says, hey what's this.

Amanda -- sorry to hear you had a rough afternoon. don't beat yourself up about it, go beat him up!! You'll work off the extra calories -- just trying to put some humor in it. Seriously, I'm sure you can compensate from another meal/snack to still come out ok for your daily intake. Now go take your excess water you haven't gotten in for the day and treat him to an icewater bath!!! Or here's a thought, sick OrangeNFeral's dog on him I'm so mean, makes you wonder what my husband has to put up with. Again, just trying to put some humor to help

I didn't get as much water in today as yesterday, probably 2 glasses shy of yesterday's, but still I'm very pleased with the amount. Now to stick with it!!!

Well, need to go find my son and get his butt to bed. He's WAY past his bedtime and don't you just love how they know it but they won't do the right thing. Has to wait for mom to scream!

Later,
Debbie

Today's Stats:

Water: 90 ounces
Food: 1150 calories- "Clean" no junk

Jen I have 2 boys too, how old are yours? Mine are 7 & 8.

Rose- Are you around today?

OrangeNFeral- on taking your measurments! Your "baby" looks mighty frightening!

Amanda- Sorry about the tiff with hubby!

Debbie- I just put my own three souls into bed. Well the girl is still running around, but the boys are in bed. Daisy is my night owl! Good job on continuing to get your water in.

okie74- Congratulations on the 30lbs you've already lost!

Chelle- How are you doing?

Anybody I missed? Sorry!!!

No work for me the next two days, and the kids still have school, so I get some alone time. I love it! I plan to get some extra workout time in tomorrow.

Hi All!!!

Well, I am going to see just how much water one person can drink in a 12 hour shift. I am really bad about water at home because there are just so many other options that I would rather have.

So, for you guys counting calories, what is your calorie intake? I have not set a calorie limit for me....still getting up the nerve....I have a very hard time with restrictions, I always get hungrier when I know that I am limited. Needless to say that I have a very hard time sticking to a diet.

Well, I have to get to work....I will check in later

Pat on the back to me, I had no clothes to wear today to work and at the bottom of my drawere was a pair of black pants that were very tight at the beginning of the month. I had no other choice so I put them on and they fit without accentuating parts of my anatomy!!!!!!!!!! Something is working. Now, I don't feel so bad about the pizza yesterday.

Jen and Okie

Okie, why did your old group get deleted?

I am not a strict calorie counter but I try to stay within parameters around 1500-1600 a day. Fitday.com doesn't always have exactly what I eat so it becomes more of an estimate. Also, on fitday it breaks down your protein/carb/fat for you in a pie chart. It is free, You should try it. It is interesting to see where all your calories are coming from.

16 oz down 79 to go

Amanda

weigh in tomorrow

Good Morning!

Amanda Happy dance for the once tight pants now fitting!

Chelle- on the water!

I'm counting calories, and I started trying a rotation of calorie intake this week, the theory being to keep your metabolism guessing. It's the "Wendie Plan" on the Weight Watchers board. Here is my weekly range- I converted the points to calories :

POINTS TARGET - 24 (Weigh 175 - 199 lbs)
Day 1 - 24 points = 1200 calories
Day 2 - 29 points = 1450 calories
Day 3 - 25 points = 1250 calories
Day 4 - 39 points Super High Day (SHD) = 1950 calories
Day 5 - 24 points = 1200 calories
Day 6 - 28 points = 1400 calories
Day 7 - 26 points = 1300 calories

Also I allow myself more calories when I workout, because I'm using weights I want to be sure I'm fueling my body to build muscle, so I usually have more protein in the form of a protein shake after my workout.

This is the first week of doing this so I can not attest to how effective it is. Today is my weigh in day.
