I had mine early, on Thursday instead of Friday ... Week 4 was -0.6.
I'm actually OK with this - I weigh myself daily and I have a pattern of holding every 2 pounds or so before I drop. Anyway
the total for my first month on IP is 6.4 pounds, which is a huge accomplishment for me and almost the best I have ever done. (Actually I just checked - I lost 5.8 pounds in one month on IP last year... on South Beach I lost ~13 pounds but it took nearly 6 months!) This has given me renewed optimism. I was focused on the fact that I am still above the weight I was when I first put on extra weight. I should be focused on the fact that I had a very successful month!
I have taken today to re-dedicate myself to this journey. I slipped a bit over the weekend - ironically not so much by eating off plan but by not eating enough ... not planning ahead enough... and eating "slightly" off-plan things when with others. I find it really hard to be so strict when I am out with others or at someone's house. In some ways I wish I could hibernate for the next few months until I am in maintenance.
Anyway... I'm back to planning my meals very precisely and getting some exercise. Day one done!
