Hi everyone! Just thought I'd spread the word about the new IP chocolate coconut bars. They are SO GOOD. My coach just got them in this week and I finally tried one this morning, and I think it's my new favorite. It tastes like the samoa Girl Scout cookies to me and has the consistency of the chocolate mint bars and as I write this, I wish I could have another, haha. I think I could happily rotate the lemon wafers, chocolate mint bars, and these chocolate coconut bars as my only restricted items for the rest of phase 1, they're that good.

Do others have any go-to items to recommend, restricted or otherwise? I'm thinking that I may need to go back and try some foods I turned my nose up at in the first week now that I'm on a roll and have adjusted to the taste of things. Except maybe the mushroom soup. Never again.

OMG! I tried the new coconut bars and they are SOOO good! I'm with ya, I loved them. Funny thing, I really enjoy the mushroom soup! Haha! I can't stand the Broccoli one though, blech!

A few favourites of mine are the chocolate drink, vanilla drink, raspberry jelly, all the puddings, mushroom soup, strawberry wafers, caramel nut bar and for sure the coconut bar now.

I usually do a drink for breakfast and a pudding or soup for lunch. I don't get bored easily though!

Might have to try the new bar you're talking about! The only restricted I've been keeping around so far is the Peanut Butter Bar -- really like that (not much of a chocolate craver…though with coconut -- yum). I usually prefer salty/crunchy snacks, so I also have some salt & vinegar chips and BBQ soy nuts. I often divide a bag of one of those into two ziplocs and have with half a peanut butter bar, you know, to get the salt & sweet together. Otherwise, my daily go-tos are the vanilla and chocolate RTDs, the cappuccino drink mix, and the chicken and broccoli/cheddar soups.

I hope they have the coconut bars at my clininc. I love coconut...and chocolate. I'm going today so I'll keep my fingers crossed that they have them so I can give them a go!

I love the chocolate mint bars! I like the BBQ crisps - so good when you're on the run and want a non restricted ready to serve (without paying the premium of the RTD shakes). I always have chocolate and wildberry yogurt drinks in my pantry. I also like to have a few cappacino drinks available too. Oh, and chicken and mushroom soup!

The Choc mint bars are too good! Best bar I have ever had! I also love the orange and blue-cran-Pom drinks, the soy nuts and the broc-cheddar soup.

So happy that there are some great choices on the program.

How are our November ladies doing? Anyone getting as much snow as we are in Calgary? Sure makes me want to cuddle up with some sort of fat and carb filled casserole!

Doing good here! We got a crazy dump Sunday/Monday (I live in the kootenays, BC). When I shovelled my driveway before bed I had probably 8 inches (I had just done it three hours earlier too!) and when I woke up I had another 8 inches. I wished I had a snowblower for that, let me tell you. Some of my neighbours brought in bobcats to do their driveways haha! I guess that storm went east and hit Calgary. I've just been curling up with my herbal mint tea. Not quite a casserole but I feel much better afterwards!

Wow, Kimo! Sounds like you guys have quite the snow! We have a ton here too, I am assuming it's going to take me forever to get home today. Slow and steady, right?!?

Hopefully old man winter leaves us alone early this year.

Hi all,
Had a bad weigh in today and am completely discouraged! I lost 0.5lbs even though I was completely on program. It is not my TOM, I have not cheated and I drank more than enough water daily?

Bummed! ;(

Hey Hmm123, I just had my smallest loss yet at my weigh in this morning too, and same as you, I'm totally OP though it is TOM for me. I lost 0.8 this week. Just remember that a little this week may mean a bit more next week or the one after, and that a loss is a loss! Congratulations on that half pound! Looking at your tracker, it looks like you're making crazy good progress, so don't lose hope You'll be down 40 before you know it!

Hmm - That is SO frustrating! I can relate, the little losses (although great in the long run) can get discouraging. I always try not to let it get me down and know that somedays our bodies just hang on to things and we have no idea why . I have a feeling next week will be great for you - stick with it my dear!

2 weeks in row I only had 1 lb loss. All we can do is looking at the positive side I guess, at least we are losing.!
My coach suggested that I switch up the protein packages so that I have one restricted food everyday. Hope it works!!
