I did not check the moon but it would make sense if it were full - I have had the munchies all day, too. No easy access to pickles at first, either.

So, quick dash into the gym for 1/2 hour fast and hard ride followed by a trip home for a salad and, yes, my pickle!

I feel better and happy that I did not succumb to my off program craves. For me this is a real NSV because in the past I would have eaten my way through the kitchen trying to find that elusive treat.

Tcb5- so sorry for your pain and loss. Talk about how you are feeling, either here or to a good friend. Allow yourself to grieve, rather than stuff the feeling.

65x65- you have given yourself the greatest gift- a good, happy place. Such a wonderful goal for the rest of us.

Deana- good luck finding a scale. Hope your duffel bag days pass quickly

SaraBell-

Diana B- glad that being back OP has you feeling better.

Jendilly- you are right everyone has something to share.

Carol- Hope your cold is completely gone soon.

As for me, I finally feel better! The flu is gone and I have most of my zip back. I only went to work 2 days but this week seemed endless.

Good job Schenectady! I wish I could have done something like that. I'm back at my desk nursing myself with a cup of decaf lemon/ginger tea

That is alright, too, ems70508. If the cravings come back today or soon, I am equipped with Egg Nog tea - yes, as strange as it sounds. It was on clearance and so I figured for a little over a dollar for a Celestial Seasonings tea, it was worth a try.

The flavor is pretty good but it has a nice creamy flavor that has helped with the desire for something sweet.

Let's all hang in there together and fight these munchy cravings.

I bought that right before Christmas and the whole box is long gone...and I'm much more a coffee person! Hint..If you find tea can be wimpy sometimes...esp if you want a big MUG...try two of those tea bags in a mug...OMG!!! If they still have it at our local groc, maybe I'll get another box.
Felt like I was having a real treat! Thx for reminding me!

I just bought a pair of jeans in a size 32! That's what size I wore in high school! They are super slimming, too. No saggy bum for me!

Me too... or the plastic caps on a water or soft drink bottle. Until somewhere I heard to wrap a rubber band around it.... it works sometimes

I have a jar opener that I can find every now and then (kids run off with it ahem my 2 year old) but with out that I take it to my hubby down stairs in his office and have him open it if he can't then maybe I should not eat what is in the jar--it's an omen

Slip free - feeling much better - (cross fingers) I think the cold is gone. Hooray.

Schenectady and 65X65 - love Celestial Seasonings teas. I have lived within 15-30 minutes of their headquarters/plant my entire life. They are in Boulder Colorado. They have a tour of their plant you can go on and a tea store. I have never done it but I want to this winter. Mint Magic is my current favorite tea. Egg Nog tea sounds wonderful.

2 things have helped me to defeat jar lids:
1) use a bottle opener to gently pry at 3 different spots around the lid. Then twist it off. Or gently tap the edge of the lid against something hard like the edge of a tile countertop or 2) use a dishwashing glove. You don't have to wear it, just hold it between your hand and the lid so there is good traction.

One or both of these methods has worked every time for me.

That's great. - Super accomplishment. Not sure what a 32 equates to here in the States. For Missy sizes Most jeans/pants here are even numbers like 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and then to women's or plus sizes 16, 18, 20, 22 etc. junior sizes are for high school young adult they are odd sizes 5, 7, 9, 11, 13.

I am currently in a 14, which I haven't been in for years. The smallest I ever was as an adult was a 10 - and I weighed 150 (in 1991) I'm 199 now and in a 14. I think sizes have changed since 1991.
