Hi all

Not feeling great today, stayed home. So, not in the mood to cook dinner. Maybe a couple of poached eggs. Still have to figure out the veggies, going to have to be creative since it is nearing grocery day.

Trish, I will look for those capsules. Thank you for your help.

Welcome Finale!

Great Losses I wantobe140 and Kawaii

Luccilove, I am going to try the apple cinnamon puffs, thanks for the recommendation.

Cleaned out a bag of pants today. Off to Goodwill, they go. Never going back!

LUCCILOVE 11-14-2013 06:42 PM

Weird. I didnt feel great either. Felt very light headed, a little nausea, tired and felt like I had to sit. I usually dont have issues like this. Had lunch and I was better after a little bit.

Tried BBQ ridges last night felt like they tasted stale and to spicy for me.

Feel better slipfree. Get some rest

airportchick11 11-14-2013 06:46 PM

Aghhhhh my people!!!! I have spent the past 1/2 hour reading everything I have missed. What awesome contributions going on here...too many I read to even comment on! Lots of congratulations seem to be in order :)

Finale: I like my 2 c spinach blended with the pre-made mango..so yummy!!

Slipfree: I am getting super bored with the veggie thing. I've been doing the spinach/mango smoothie so it's one less part of the veggies I have to think about.

I just got the hubby home today from the hospital. I am hoping to get back on my routine since I won't be driving constantly from home, to work, to hospital, to home, to hospital..and on and on. I miss checking in here everyday, I need the support! The other day, I text my coach because I wanted something really sweet and really caky...lol...She reminded me that I am a fat burning machine right now and to not mess it up. It worked! Ever since then it just keeps going through my head so I am passing on the words. If you are thinking of having something not OP and it could mess up your ketosis...remember...YOU ARE A FAT BURNING MACHINE, DON'T MESS IT UP!!
:)

Just coming back after a 10 day wretched food borne illness. It was hard to stay op since I wasn't eating, but I have been better today. Great to see all of the given away pounds!

Slipfree 11-14-2013 07:04 PM

Airportchick- So glad that he is home! I love the fat burning machine! Going to use that mantra at girl's night happy hour.

Luccilove- I do not care for the BBQ ridges or the tomato soup either.

Justdoinit- So sorry to hear that you have been sick. Glad you are feeling better.

Airportchick: SOO good to see you back online and that your hubby is home! In regards to mantra's my aunt (who lost 103lbs on IP and is maintaining like a champ) told me while she was still phase one that she envisioned her pancreas as the tasmanian devil. Going into ketosis put Taz to sleep, but one slip up and it's crazy wild Taz pancreas all over again. It was such a funny mental image that it's stuck with me, so whenever I'm tempted I think no Taz, you can't have <insert whatever thing it is I want at the time that's off protocol>. And there's the standby "This cheat will cost me $85.00, is it really worth it?"

It's fun to see what other people use to trick their brains into staying OP. Great job everyone! Keep up the progress!

Good morning all! I haven't been on here as often as I'd like, butt life is just getting busy right now. But I am thinking of all of you.

Just wanted to share a NSV from yesterday....I have a brand new pair of jeans in my closet that I'd really like to wear. I tried them on last week and they finally went up over my thighs, but would NOT do up. Well...decided to try them again yesterday and.....the fit! I couldn't believe it. I was so excited. I love that when I'm feeling a bit discouraged things like that happen. And they happen so quickly. One week they don't fit, the next they do! Let me tell you...I'm loving IP!!

Hope you all have a great weekend. Off to the gym this morning and all weekend is cheerleading with my daughter. First a showcase of a whole bunch of different cheer teams, then down to a state football playoff game. It's gonna be a LONG weekend!

Congrats emsmom! That is a great story! I am continually amazed by how my body is changing week to week, and it's getting so fun to try on old clothes I haven't worn for a while. I was standing in front of hubby today, and he was like, you look really good, I mean really skinny. :)

3 lbs down this week! Yeah! Have a great weekend everyone.

Another 3.5 lb donation this week! Going to really focus and try and get over a 5 lb loss next week. That would be cool! Good job everyone, keep it up!

Hello my friends,

Great job, Jig. I like your can do spirit.

Emsmom, What a wonderful nsv! Must have made you smile all day.

Sally, Awesome loss!

Weigh In for me tomorrow. It has been a more difficult week, totally on program but a bit resentful. This too shall pass.

Hi everyone! I started IP in mid October and wish I would have been participating in this thread. Some of the month (especially the first 4 days were difficult), but it has gotten a lot more routine and easier. It's amazing how much more even I feel without my blood sugar always bouncing around due to so much sugar and carbs. Heading into the weekend getting used to the new lifestyle. Not having a couple of glasses of wine on the weekend is challenging, but I just keep reminding myself that this is temporary.

Welcome KookySuki. I too enjoy some wine or good beer and just have to tell myself it's not worth it right now.

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.
