Yikes, just looked at the Weather Network... all you peeps out in Alberta, Southern Quebec & Ontario, and the Maritimes, be careful in nasty winter driving conditions! Expecting sun and highs of 0C here next week.

Haha, yeah, we got hit HARD! Over 35cm of snow and really blowing, drifts passed my waist at the end of it! Be safe, our roads are pretty poor.

The snow has arrived here in Calgary. Might get down to -28 on Tuesday. Ugh. Are you somewhere in the Okanagan Liana?

I'm in northern Alberta and its -15C this morning but also beautiful clear skies and sunshine. I can handle the cooler temps as long as I can see and feel the sun! Trying to get back to the gym as running outside is pretty much impossible now and need to start back at the weights. Have a date with my hubby this afternoon to meet there! They usually clear the running trails here but will see how brave I am to try them. I'm so scared of slipping and falling as a couple friends have already broke their wrists in the last month from slipping and falling!

I haven't posted in this thread before, but I am also in Canada so hopefully you don't mind if I join in.

It is amazing to put on clothing you haven't worn in a while to find it is too big. Even though we know our bodies are changing it is that article of clothing for me that gives me that aha moment.
I too went shopping this week for a new coat and was so excited fit into a size 4.
Next I need new jeans!!

I wish I could be bold with color but I tend to be more practical (boring). I bought a black coat with ruffles down the front by the zipper. The zippers of the coat and pockets are gold. It is definitely a statement piece but in black!

You will find quest bars at GNC and most health food stores. I have found them in quite a few places not sure if you have the same luck in PQ. The low carb grocery store is canadian. You can order all sorts of alts (EAS shakes, hope mills pancakes) and free shipping at $100. They hope to have quest chips soon too.

Nothing special. Just a ski jacket but it was nice to have the pick of the store and not just one rack!
