Yeah, I need to get it thinned soon. I have grown to appreciate my hair along with myself. What's the use criticizing what I have been blessed with? So, I accept your compliment wholeheartedly and return a compliment for you. You look like a model sitting on a bench on a lazy sunny afternoon. Beautiful pose!
Oh how I had that wrong for a couple of days. About the veggies.I thought it was 2 cups altogether, and I was happy with that, but did feel a bit tired. I gotta laugh and so did my DH, son and sister. But hey, life's good, I know now. Thank you ladies for pointing that out to me. I did have grilled onions for lunch that day, but I still lost as of this morning 3.6 lbs.
Chipndip I was looking at your weight loss and it's so cool to know that maybe, just maybe I can loose 4 pounds on any given week. I am going out on friday night for a girls night out with 4 other girlfriends.
THE PLAN:
First rule of thumb; I am the designated driver for at least 2 that live in my area. Drinking is not a big thing for me, though I love a good red or white port wine.
Second rule: It's a potluck and we are making Indian recipes. I found a curry chicken recipe right here in the recipe thread. My chicken breasts are already marinating.
Is there a third rule, other than having a fun time with the gals! I thought not.
Thank you Clarington, Liana, Lisa and shrinkingsusie, you guys make me feel at home here.
A good evening to all and keep safe and healthy! xo

I'm new here - didn't realize there was a Canadian thread. This is my second week. I lost 32 lbs on IP 2 years ago and unfortunately put it all back on and then some. I turn 50 in February and I plan on looking hot at my b-day party.

Hi vzubie! Welcome to the (soon to be) 50's, lol. I will be 51 in March, but who's counting now... Good going to get back on the plan, this time you will be long-term successful!
LOL, hanging out mainly in the maintenance threads... and lurking on daily chat and a couple others
How's things, sarabithelioness?
Liana
Oh gosh my computer was down for about 2 weeks now. I did very good though. I had my sis, hubby and friends support and I lost another 5 pounds. So thrilled with that. It's my sleeping pattern that is a bit out of whack. At times I sleep 8 hours which is good. (10pm to 6 or 6hrs30 am) sometimes, it's not so good, like 10h to 3h am...can't go back to sleep. Like last night, I don't know what it is. I drink one coffee in the morning and that is all. Guess will have to see if it's something else like hormones, I am using estrogel and prgestorone (the little pearl pill).
Good to see you are still here, sarabithelioness! Woot, woot for losing the 5 and for getting all that support from family & friends!
It can be hard to live without our computers nowadays, how did we ever do it pre 1980??? lol
As you lose weight hormones are released from the fat storage and can screw with any number of things... TOM, moods and emotions, sleep, cravings, WHAHHH! You may need to check things out with your doc for a retool of prescriptions.
Keep on plan, girls.... hoping today is a good one for all 'ma Canadian/Canadien peeps.'

I was on IP once before too, and after years of bad choices my 45 lbs I lost has caught up with me (plus an additional 20 lbs). But that is in the past! I am back on my reboot and have big plans for weight loss.
Good luck on your reboot! And happy early bday!
Canadian check in: It is pretty chilly here in Edmonton. I'm predicting snow by Halloween.

LOL, *pokes fun* at Edmontonians.... My DH was born there - lived in Strathcona area while it was still residential (he's old, ahahahaha! not really)
Those of us in the Okanagan are laughing at your weather... sunny and 17C here. BTW didn't you already have snow earlier for a couple days??
17 here in Southern Ontario too! Mornings are cool and temp will be dropping later this week.

Almost time for the P3 mega-breaky

Already started P3! Today was day 6. The best by far was the mini pizza I made. I did miss that! I think the wheat may be bothering me so will stick to other grain sources for the next few days.

Otherwise I feel grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat.
I am totally the same. If I wake up at 4 I'm often done. My usual wake up, thanks to my dog is nap between 5/5:30 but I'm wide awake. I'm usually ready for bed at 10 but some nights I am not tired at all. It's a good feeling.
