TThe chocolate one is yummy, I want to try the peanut butter one next. The price at Popeyes is the same as vitamart online.
Let me know which one you buy and how you like it.

I ended up getting the peanut butter and vanillas ones. Made pancakes with the vanilla powder (with a bit a cinnamon) this morning and they were yummy! If I make it to the store today for some zucchini, I'm going to make a batch (or two!) of peanut butter cookies, lol!

I think I'll get the chocolate one next. I could see baking a little cake or something with it, yum!

Thanks again for the tip!

Hi try again, all I can suggest is googling "protein oatmeal" or "protein soup packet" Canada shipping. I don't use most of them as they aren't certified gluten free but I know lots of others do.

Yes nice to see this thread. I am going to look for the Quest protein as well. Also waiting for the crisps to arrive. I enjoy the IP chicken soup and would love to find an alternative for that. It is great with shredded zucchini.

My favourites have been
- ChocoLite shakes from www.lowcarbgrocery.com
- Smaps cereal from www.lowcarbgrocery.com (with a little bit of the ChocoLite French Vanilla shake watered down as milk)
- New Hope Mills Pancake Mix from www.lowcarbgrocery.com (but when I add the eggs and water and oil, I do it differently than the box suggests)
- Simply Chips from www.well.ca
and last but not least my all time favourites......
- Quest bars from www.lowcarbgrocery.com, www.vitamart.ca and just discovered a sale at www.canadianprotein.com (havent ordered from them yet)

I seriously want to eat Quest bars for all 3 meals...but many are considered restricted. The Strawberry Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Chocolate are on the borderline and I'm considering testing the waters to see if I actually could eat just 2 a day of those. They are SO satisfying to the palette and to the appetite/hunger monster.
Lots of great info Seriously. I will have to check this out as well. I also use the low carb grocery for alternative foods and Walden Farms products. I am going to check out your links as well.

There's a sale on Quest protein bars at London Drugs today & tomorrow (if there's one near you - I'm not sure if you can order online at this price).

4/$10.00
A great deal since even on sale in my area they are $3.49 each, and usually are priced $3.75

I just dropped into my local Popeyes store today in Richmond Hill Ontario and they have the Quest chips in. They sell them individually in 4 flavours. Probably by the box as well but only bought 2 bags to see if I like them first. I think they charged 3.99 a bag. Very expensive.

Hi ladies,

I am from SK, Canada and I am trying to figure out a good protein powder for phase 1. I see the quest is quite popular but aren't we supposed to take only 15g of protein per packet/shake? Also, the quest shake is $60, how many servings are there? Doest anybody know?

Thanks.

I do like the quest protein powder, you can always use less than the full scoop maybe 3/4 of a scoop and it will lower the protein grams. You will also get more servings from the container!

One of my local grocery stores has always labeled their rutabaga as turnip, and I grew up always thinking I was eating turnip when I was eating rutabaga. It wasn't until this reboot where I read the rutabaga was a once a week vegetable that I realized I had been overeating the rutabaga! The good news is yesterday, I discovered mini turnip in small bags like the mini carrots, so am going to try the turnip fries with those.
