I am so happy that I found this site and thread. I am in week 2 of IP and I love the program. I have been 100% OP this week (last week was my anniversary) and I do not feel hungry!! Thank you for the support and well wishes.

@ I can do anything
Happy Anniversary.!

and yes as Lisa stated earlier keto diets are amazing for their appetite suppressant nature....sometimes i complain about eating the last packet for the day...who would have thought that could happen lol

Me too, I find myself forgetting the last snack once a week or so. I know that's bad! :/

Hey do you guys take two cal mags with dinner and two right before bed? Wouldn't it make sense to spread them out more?? I don't understand the reasoning behind that.

Yes...I've been thinking that is possibly a better place to keep motivated ...the end feels long and dragging. LOL--Why should I be any different than those who have gone before tho'!! just patience wearing very thin...

65 im so happy for you as well..you're almost there
Thanks...at my age I never dreamed I'd really be so close to goal by my birthday.. It was a hopeful pie in the sky goal back on January 10! .

after my .8 lbs loss yesterday (the past two weeks have been low losses), Any inches? My coach reminded me there was a lot of visceral fat that needed to go away...and when things appear slow imagine the fat around major organs coming "undone"....! The visual was a great incentive to keep on plan... i've decided to try coffee black again. it's the only area that might be throwing me off...esp at work. Maybe that extra RTD vanilla splash in my coffee is slowing me down is the thought. Giving up coffee is not an option ...wish my taste buds luck that they will start to love it.
Me too...really love my coffee and the smell incites Pavlov reaction in me. Drinking it black has become easy...considering the alternative of NONE! You will adjust...and down the road may even prefer(...And deserve) to allocate that fat and calories to some other delicacy!

I have been so hungry this week. Had WI #6 on wednesday. I wasn't really hungry at all on IP until this week and now I'm sooooooo hungry! I want a beer and some really good pasta.

I have added a little bit of exercise, just walking a mile. Although yesterday after I walked I was sick all day with the worst headache and nausea.

Oh well - here is to a great WI #7 next week!

Having a pretty decent OP day (started back up on Monday after a maintenance stint). Decided that some delicious raw red onion on my lunch salad would taste relish. Well it was, and now i'm paying for it. I always do this to myself... LOVE raw red onion, however, i'm allergic to it and it makes me very ill. Urgh. Very much regretting that decision.

Live and learn! Until the next time i want raw red onion...

Is it possible your hunger coincides with your walking? Also your headache could come from exercising without the right amount of protein and salt etc.

Week #1 DOWN! Yippee! Sadly I don't have my first WI until next Saturday. My coach is on holidays.

It's been a good week except for the minor trip to the ER for abdominal pain. Never did find out what caused it. Did find out that I am official in ketosis though.

I don't feel hungry for once in my life...

Bread stick recipe.....help... somewhere this past week I saw a great breadstick recipe here, there was a talk about making them, images, a link and [B]Lisa[B] talked about doubling it and having it for another day. It was also with a mockamole recipe........... I cant find it. I tried many searches and keep looking. Anyone remember where it is??

TGIF!! It was a long week, looking forward to the weekend.

Thanks all for the encouragement - I feel better about myself and what I can accomplish on this diet so I know I can do it! Made it through the last day of work until September so it's been a good day

Congrats to all the losses, NSV's and good days!

Oh and best of all - I received the delivery from lowcarbgrocery.com, woohoo! I'm going to have a bit of caramel syrup with my vanilla pudding snack tonight, yum!

I think I have replaced my addiction to food with an addiction to shopping! My husband is going to kill me! I am driving home right now from spending way too much money on clothes that my husband points out, won't fit me in a month. But I love my new body! Ack Wish me luck!

Yesterday I asked this on the phase 3 thread and didn't get any answers so I'll try here.

I started phase 3 on Monday. On Monday I also started having Hot flashes. I have had them for 5 days now each day at rando times. I think its unlikely that I entered menopause and phase 3 on exactly the same day but it is possible. I am 46. Could it be the carbs or the coming out of ketosis?

Also - everytime I eat I feel immediately dizzy - no matter what I eat: protein, carbs, dairy. Could this also be related to phase 3 and the addition of wheat or carbs?

Has anyone else experienced hot flashes when starting phase 3. Any insght would be appreciated.
