theEguarantee: I was so excited when I reached the 1/2 point and realized I can really do this! Now I am 13 lbs from my goal and am excited to see if that is where I will ultimately begin P2 or if I will want to continue and lose more weight. DH and I are planning a trip to Vegas and I really want to have reached goal and phase off to maintenance by then. I know how great you feel right now!

Sarita: good luck on the dizziness. I am having many days where I deal with that and my DH is always making sure I am steady on my feet. I thought it would resolve by now, but my salt and water intake don't seem to make a difference. I have been checking my BP lately and it is getting pretty low, so I am making an appt to see my GP just to be safe. Hope yours resolves soon.

Default Nausea in between breakfast and lunch...becoming a problem!

Any one have any words of wisdom? Maybe it's the supplements in the morning? (potassum, multi, cal-mag)

It's really wrecking havoc on my daily activities. Hard to work, or take care of my 2 year old!

I even went so far as to take a pregnancy test just to rule that out! (negative, no surprise there- don't think I'm ovulating, which is why I am doing IP in the first place!)

Congrats to everyone who had scale and NSVs today! I am so happy for you guys and I really hope to have another scale victory next Thurs too! I just seem to be battling this darn nausea everyday!

So tomorrow is my second WI. I jumped on the scale and I'm only down 1.2lbs?! Shouldn't it be more this early in the game? I haven't cheated and I drink minimum 2L of water a day.. Feeling low

jmanovich, do you like herbal tea I get a little queasy sometimes probably from the supplements and I have a cup of peppermint or chamomile tea and it seems to help.

I don't know what to tell you except I'm having the same problem. I didn't take a pregnancy test though because I know a) I just ovulated and therefore symptoms would be impossible that early and b) my DH got the snip when our youngest was 5 days old and he's 15 months now. So unless there was an act if God, it's impossible. But it sure does feel like morning sickness.

Sort of an NSV...but a bittersweet one unfortunately... About 2 or 3 weeks ago, during Nordstrom's half yearly sale, I bought a pair of leather leggings in a size that was extremely tight.... could pull them up, but heard some threads snapping! Figured 1 mth would get me into them, just in time for fall. I put them on today, and apparently I calculated wrong! They're actually baggy on me now I'll be returning them, but bummed because I won't be able to get the sale price unless they happen to have a size down in the store available. So yay for the weight loss, not so yay for the loss of wardrobe!

Congrats to all you guys who've lost this week....everyone have a great weekend.

Okay, so I was sitting at my desk feeling kind of down because I went to the store this weekend and I still wasn't really a pant size down. I assumed I could wear a 16, but I tried them on and they wouldn't come up over my lower belly. I was disappointed because I thought I was wearing an 18w when I started the diet 45lbs ago.

Well, when I really sat and thought about it, I realized I was actually wearing a 24w (can you say "denial"?). I couldn't wear my 18s or 20s anymore and the few pairs of 22s I had either didn't fit or were cutting off my circulation.

So, hooray for me I'm down three pant sizes to a loose 18! I'm wearing pants today that I haven't worn since September 2006!

I have a NSV to share today. I was running late to get to work yesterday so I grabbed a pair of black pants from my closet in a rush and headed out the door. On the way to the car, I noticed they were pretty loose. I was thinking that I grabbed the bigger size ones on accident---- NOPE! These are the pants that were too tight to wear in public when I started IP. I can pretty much pull them off without unbuttoning them. WOW.

No, you're doing fine! (Although cucumbers and celery do count towards your 4 cups veggies per day.) That first week is rough, but you will soon be feeling much better and much less hungry!

My coach actually gave me some extra IP packets to eat during my first week, if I was really starving (allowed for the first week only) -- did your coach do that with you? If not you can supplement with a hard-boiled egg. And try hot beverages -- for some reason they are more filling than cold ones.

Good morning all! Today I weighed in at 176...11 pounds from my goal. Then my water pump went out on my way to the office and I spent 2+ hours in the Texas sun replacing it, with only a couple glasses of water. When I re-showered I weighed in at 173.6! Too bad I know it was water weight and pre-lunch...

Happy to be on the downhill side headed toward my goal....hoping I can stay the course! My wife is a Cake/Cupcake baker and she made 3 different coconut cakes for a co-worked to sample for his engagement party cake. I tried a very little bit of each (forgive me 3FC for I am not 100%)...they are yummy but I didn't even want a piece...a taste was enough. I can hold off on enjoying truly her efforts until I reach my goal!

WOWWOWOWOW so happy for you.! GRATS

i've been in the 100% thread and will continue to check it daily.

65 im so happy for you as well..you're almost there

sarita75...thanks for the insight oh amazing we are it makes me feel a lil better

jmanovich y ou take the supplements with food? or is your breakfast a shake? maybe you need a lil acutal food in your belly to avoid the sick in the tummy feeling?

it's raining off and on here too ...i love the rain tho

after my .8 lbs loss yesterday (the past two weeks have been low losses), i've decided to try coffee black again. it's the only area that might be throwing me off...esp at work. Maybe that extra RTD vanilla splash in my coffee is slowing me down is the thought. Giving up coffee is not an option ...wish my taste buds luck that they will start to love it.
