Just back from weigh in and down .6lbs.
Thanks for the confirmation, ShrinkingSusie! And Lisa - I had your thoughts in my head re: restricted so maybe I'll cut down to one a day and see.
Susie Bee - thanks for your support, too! You hang in there yourself!
Morning everyone! Today is my last day at work before 3 weeks of holidays so my head is spinning a little with everything I need to get done. Not to mention thoughts of how to stay OP while travelling - just a road trip to Minneapolis but 8 hours in the car both ways. I can do it, I can do it!
dill pickles! dill pickles all over that car! haha. good luck! and let us know if you figure out any new traveling on IP tips.
Okay, and on to other stuff. I managed my first day 100% OP yesterday, and am so glad I did! DH and I had our first weigh-in and guess who gained? Yup... this girl, stinkin' pizza!! That really sealed the deal for me on keeping that stuff outta my house and outta my mind.
Quick question, I've been doing lots of reading, and am following IP w/ alternative products, and I know that soda is a big nono. What about club soda, tonic water, or plain sparkling water? I bought some sugar-free syrup (cherry lime! YUMM!!) and am looking forward to trying it as a little treat, to change it up once in a while. Help please?
hit the 160s today for the first time in five years!
Congrats lady! :c arrot:
My scale said 169.5 for about a second this morning before it changed to 170, Ha ha! I stepped on two more times - 170 both times! So freaking frustrating. My scale can be such a tease sometimes!! :P Happy for ya and I hope to be posting the same thing in the next few days.
Good morning all. I am so sleepy today. Still dealing with light headedness so I am adding salt to my water when I have mio. So far it is okay tasting (a little salty), but I have not noticed a change in my dizziness. I suspect it will take a little while.
Lying with the boyfriend last night I was bemoaning the slowing of the losses the last two weeks and we did a reality check (i really adore him for his support) and we determined that, by the end of this diet, I will have lost about the same weight of his 11 year old son (who is a skinny guy) but - I was astonished. And proud.
So, moral of the story. Regardless of whatever happens on your journey, remember how amazing you are for doing this.
ktgrrl - my coach has said I could have ONE diet pepsi a day if I felt I needed it b/c I don't drink coffee. I would just have to drink additional water (12 oz of dp = 12 oz of extra water!). I'm on day 4 & have only had 1 dp...my scale indicates I still lost a pound even with that 1 soda.
Day 4 & I thank you all for your posts. I'm trying to read as much as I can so I know what is ok & not ok.
and according to my ticker i'm at the midpoint of my weight loss!! And I plan on phasing into phase 2 after Halloween which means i'm right at the midpoint of my time on phase 1, too!! Right on track! YES!
