That's interesting. I have been a bit more hyper this week that's for sure.:dizzy:

Congratulations to everyone on their losses, no matter the number, a loss is a loss! It's fun and exciting to read about everyone's accomplishments. I remember, not too long ago, when I was hitting the program pretty hard, anxiously waiting for my next WI to see my progress. Maintenance/Phase 4 has been going well. I've only been above my self-induced 5lb fluctuation limit a couple of times since November. It's amazing how this program works. If I slip and my one Tread Day turns into two treat days, jumping back into Phase 1 knocks those extra pounds right off. :carrot:

Remembering the old military days....****, I'm still living them. Tomorrow afternoon I get to drive about 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where I have drill to only get on a buss and ride 3 1/2 hours to drill. Talk about drive ya nuts. I wish I could drive the buss, would make it a little better.

In other news.....lol......I've been studying for a SQL Server 2008 certification exam. I take it at 1pm today. This will be my third attempt at the test. I sure have a difficult time studying/remembering information that I really don't use. But, I will pass it this time! Then on to test two to get the certification. I can get this done before heading out to Cuba in June.

Have a great day everyone, and weekend if I'm not able to check in during drill this weekend.

I didn't realize you were a techie. Im studying for my last MCITP:EA exam. I scored in the 90's for electronics on the ASVAB but failed the color vision test which dq'd me from all those jobs. Fortunately, the civilian sector doesn't care about color vision.

Technically I am still military until July. My ANG unit let me finish my contract as IRR to relocate for my civilian job.

Another day on IP Funny how all those nagging little aches have gone away like
  • Swelling of the feet towards the evening
  • Aching knees
  • Aching back
  • Slight chest pains
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • General tiredness especially around 2pm
  • Profuse sweating upon any exceptions
  • Being hot and uncomfortable in any elevated temperature.

Just don't let the cat out of the bag that I am pretty much a nerd. :carrot: I ended up scoring a 491 on that exam, needed a 700!! OUCH, that thing was pretty difficult.

I have about 2 1/2 more years of military duty, then I'll have hit the 20 year mark and will be looking for the exit door. ;)

Ain't it great!!! I had all those symptoms and they have disappeared too. I have always thought I had lousy will power and although that is somewhat true, the real problem was I did lousy diets and I never wanted it bad enough! IP is the best thing (aside from my family) to ever happen in my 45 yrs! I know it sounds corny but this has been life-changing for me. I'm not much of a religious guy, but the whole way that it happened, that I decided to lose weight and found IP was such a total fluke that I gotta think I got a nudge from the Big Guy!:). Feeling good about WI on Monday! 30lbs gone would sound really good....

Hey Bears:

Our yearly Industry Hobby Show is held in Nov. at The Rosemont Center outside of Chicago. If we both make it to 220 maybe we can meet up and I'll buy you a salad and get tix to the Bulls!

I had WI this morning, total down: 46 POUNDS:dance::dance::dance:
Did not have weigh in last week, my gal was out of the office, since I buy food for 2 weeks at a time, it was no real big deal. But it was a rough week this week, not enough water and just not eating when I should. I was very excited that I still lost. I have been partaking a little extra in the meat department, and have decided that I am okay with that, and will not beat myself up.
Right now my libido is going through the roof, and ready to go hunting...hehehehe
I have been around lurking. So, I have been keep track of you. And how you guys are doing. It really helps to know that all you IPMWPSU (IP members who pee standing up) are out there doing the program with me.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!!

Was feeling a little chunky yesterday until I put on a shirt that I had never worn and there was PLENTY of room. Great NSV. I had tried on the same shirt about 2 weeks ago and it fit but was snug. Hope to break the 300 lb mark at WI on Tuesday. Can't remember how long its been since I have been below that. Got my mother started on IP. Could not get her to go to the clinic but she ordered from plainprotein so I guess I will be "coaching" her :dizzy: Getting so many double takes at work - its such a great feeling!! Everyone have a blessed weekend!

Great job Kit!! Wow, 46lbs!!! It'll be a lot easier to "catch" the ladies now anyway!:)

kitcamper 02-24-2013 05:15 PM

:flame: Oh the "ladies" are perfectly safe!

It was great to hit the bar last night and have a couple of aquantinces, do a double take and actually come by and say that I was looking good.
I know I feel the difference but, but complements are always encourging.

And, yes I only had water. Usually only drink beer once a week, at the bar, as long as I have bottle in my hand it is not to bad.

My Mom, is coming for a visit this coming weekend and I have not told her that I was doing this (IP) and have sworn the brothers and there spouses to secrecy.
She, will be surprised. And I will be in trouble :nose:

That is gonna be one big surprise!! I send my Ma a text after every WI. She can't believe how well its going. My parents are both in awesome shape play tennis etc. and are 80 and 72 yrs old. I'm sure it drove my Mom nuts when I was tipping the scales at 291! When I was a teenager I was always in great shape with football and rugby but once I hit university I really let is slide. She would say the odd thing since I've been an adult and I know she was concerned but really hasn't been on my case at all. She is super thrilled about what has happened so far though!

My wife, on the other hand, was in my ear all the time with my over-eating. That talk is definitely gone!! No she just gets upset with me for setting off the smoke alarm with my George Foreman grill!!!

PS. The GF grill is the best invention for dieters ever!!:)

HPIRacer 02-25-2013 02:20 AM

My name is Danny. My wife, ( suchawittygal ), got me started last Monday on the IP diet.
In one week's time I have lost 6 pounds and I am feeling much better already.
Another 15 pounds to go! I am a Type 1 diabetic with High blood pressure and heart and kidney disease.
