question for the men on IP
 
hello there,
wondering how the IP diet differs from the women's IP? Do the men actually get more calories per day? Or does the IP diet treat everyone equal?

day 9 and feel fantastic...the wife baked a large spaghetti squash, then made noodles out of it...

Sorry, don't want you to derail youself unintentionally, but spaghetti squash is not on IP until Phase 4 :(

Summer squash is fine (green and/or yellow zucchini).

Winter squash is not (butternut, spaghetti, acorn).

I use a julienne peeler on green zucchini to make noodles, they are delicious! Had them for dinner tonight!

Careful. Squash is on the "Not Permitted" list of veggies. It's okay in P4 (maybe 2 and 3 - not sure about that) but not in P1.

Wow, so many newbies. Welcome!!! I am having trouble keeping up. Hanging in there, the scale at home is moving in a downward direction. Have till Saturday for WI. Missed this week due to work.
Hope everyone has a winning/loosing week.

Has my first WI on Friday, down 10 and lost a total of 5 inches. That was the end of the feel goods. Traveled to visit family. When we arrived, mother-in-law bought pickles, celery, cucumbers, etc. Had a grilled chicken waiting. It was good but had a seasoning on it that is not allowed. Picked the skin off but still got some. Nice diet that lets you know when you ate something you shouldn't have. Next day, lunch at Red Robin, grilled chicken salad with oil. Had to pick the carrots out. Drive home had the dill zippers. Those are awesome! Tough weekend but I made it through. Hard to say I cant eat that. Now back home and back to the regiment.

Welcome to all the new people! Just checking in! Doing WI's every two weeks now to spread out the appointments. Dropped 8.5 over the past two weeks.

Coach gave me some good advise, limit my Red Meat intake to 2-3 times a week to help lose more weight. I was doing 50/50 with Red Meat and Chicken each week. Not good!

Just talked to wife, she just said woops..we have yellow squash on our veggie list so she assumed since spaghetti squash was yellow it would be okay
